Shemaroo’s Filmigaane attempts LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS For hosting the longest running Antakshari on Twitter

Antakshari is an age old game that is enjoyed by children and adults equally. Shemaroo’s Filmigaane is India’s one of the most favourite destinations for retro music videos on YouTube and now, users will get to enjoy the retro music on their phones as well. Filmigaane recently launched their app on Andorid and iOS. To celebrate the launch of the app, the banner – “Filmigaane” is hosting the popular game of Antkshari on Twitter. It is also an attempt to create a record for hosting the longest running Antakshari on the platform. The noted singer Amit Kumar, who is also the son of Kishore Kumar, starts the #FilmiGaaneAntakshari fever today.
#FilmigaaneAntakshari is the first of its kind digital campaign that is slated to run on Twitter for 7 continuous days, 24 hours from 26th September’16 to 3rd October’16 running for a total of 168 hours. This campaign is not just unique because it runs for 168 hours continuous, but it goes a step ahead by making us re-live with the beautiful retro era of songs released on or before the year 2000. 
With this campaign, Filmigaane is attempting a record in the 'Limca Book of Records' for playing the longest running antakshari on TWITTER. During the course of this campaign, winners will be selected everyday and more than 2000 vouchers and up to Rs. 2 lakhs will be given away over a period of 7 days. Grand prize worth Rs. 10,000 awaits the person who will have the maximum participation during the campaign.  
Join Filmigaane from 26th September to 3rd October as they embark on a musical journey with a week long campaign that will surely touch the strings of nostalgia and make you want to relive the golden days as the campaign purely focuses on the melodious Hindi songs that released on or before the year 2000.
