Earlier this year newcomer Youngr self-released his edgy pop-infused debut single ‘Out Of My System’. The track subsequently went viral, reaching #1 on Hype Machine and quickly amassing an impressive 10 million plays on Spotify, catching the attention of Radio 1 and Island Records. Youngr has now revealed a brand new follow up track, ‘Too Keen’ which sees his debut release via Island Records (Universal Music Group) on 11th November 2016. In his own words ‘This song is about a past relationship. Everyone can come off too keen sometimes. We have all been there!’Influenced by the likes of Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Calvin Harris, Miike Snow, NERDand his musician father August Darnell (Kid Creole & The Coconuts), Youngr is a music graduate and accomplished musician (drums, keys, vocals, production) who initially began to make a name for himself online with his unique and spectacular one-take live video’s, featuring his dance-floor friendly boot-legs of artists such as Daft Punk & Craig David during which Youngr plays drums, keys, percussion & guitar amongst an impressive studio set up on stage. Youngr’s bootleg of Sweet Disposition by Temper Trap performed live at London’s early morning rave, Morning Gloryville, which amassed over 10-millon views on Facebook during the first two weeks.Youngr recently sold out his first two headline gigs in London and another in New York. He now brings his transcendent live show to India at the Echoes of Earth Festival (Bengaluru) on 26th November and The HUFF Pre-Party (Hyderabad) on 25th November.
