For actors, it’s
certainly not easy to just resemble the characters they enact on screen but
also to sound like them. Actress Kriti Kharbanda, who made a stellar debut with
Vikram Bhatt’s successful franchise, Raaz Reboot, can vouch for this.
The versatile actress,
who will be seen playing a Gujarati character in Ashwini Dhir’s upcoming family
entertainer Atithii Iin London alongside Kartik Aaryan and veteran actors
Paresh Rawal and Tanvi Azmi, had to speak Gujarati and get the dialect right.
A source informs,
“Since Kriti had to speak Gujarati fluently, she had to learn how to speak
typical Gujarati and work on her accent. She made it a point to learn the
language so that it would look more authentic for the audience while enjoying
the film. And who better than her veteran co-star Paresh Rawal, who willingly
helped her to get the Gujarati diction right.”
Kriti says, “During
the extensive shoot schedule in London, Paresh sir helped me to get the
Gujarati diction right. I used to sit with him during breaks and he used to
recite my lines in Gujarati and helped me to get the right nuance. I’m really
grateful to Paresh sir. He was a great help.”
