Simple,
yet edgy and a hint of glamour defined Day 4 of the India Luxury Style Week
which was high on glitz, style and fashion. The evening started with designer
Ambrose D’souza’s Wanderlust collection, popular brand Skechers then showcased
the latest designs in footwear with showstopper & popular TV celeb Karishma
Tanna. Ace designers like Aneesdeen, Vivek Karunakara & Rohit Kamra added
magic to the ramp with their fresh, trendy and modern collections..
AMBROSE
D’SOUZA
Designer
Ambrose D’souza presented her collection ‘Wanderlust’, a stylish boho chic
array of garments crafted with linen, cotton, silk and suiting fabrics, perfect
for the man who loves to dress and loves to experiment. The looks were
versatile, all about comfort and wearability, apt for both casual and semi
formal meets and the quirky blazer collection added a formal feel too. Popular
TV actor Manav Gohil walked the ramp for designer.
SKECHERS
Launched
in 1992, Skechers today stands tall as the second leading shoe brand and the
product portfolio comprises of funky, casual, smart and functional shoes for
men, women and kids. The brand launched its new range of Walking shoe, GOWALK
4, an extremely functional and stylish product line.
ANEESDEEN
A
designer & haute couturier from Mumbai, Aneesdeen is a designer of
international fame and his creations are worn by popular global icons and
celebrities at the most prestigious events across the world. His collection at
the ILSW was chic and classy, that brings sophistication with minimum
detailing. Playing with dark and neutral shades the garments were simple yet
stylish & glamours.
VIVEK
KARUNAKARAN
Designer
Vivek Karunakaran from Chennai is one the most sought after designers in the
country, and his label, “Vivekkarunakaran” retails at the most prominent
fashion stores across the country and has over the years, found its presence in
select international cities too. A regular at all fashion weeks, he recently
conceptualized and created a fashion collection for the Handloom Export
Promotion Council of India, Ministry of Textiles and has also been styled
eminent personalities from the world of Cinema, Music &
Disregarding
the enduring compulsion to make a statement, each VK ensemble explores a modern
vocabulary of design in wearable urban styles and it is this philosophy that
reflected in his collection at ILSW too. The styling is minimal, honest with
handcrafted finishes, re-focusing the attention on silhouette and form. Crowned
with a hint of Bohemian touch that comes from a free spirited heart, the VK
collection was gorgeous and edgy with a hint of understated Glamour.
ROHIT
KAMRA
From the
sweltering summers to a Cool Monsoon...designer Rohit Kamra presented the
Summer Resort look, perfectly blending with the pleasant weather and justifying
the launch in Bengaluru. Epitomized by the favorite color palette of aqua blue,
turquoise, royal blue which is set of with whites, along with, the must have colors
of Crimson, Saffron, and Black set of with pastel Beige, a reference of Marble
print all along validates Brand Jaipur. The silhouettes told a story of
designers signature style. The must haves were the Young Bandhgalas, Trendy
Slim fit Breeches, Sporty Riders, Open Neck Half Jackets and to complete the
look of a Beach Wedding an array of Summer Sherwanis for the groom unfolded as
a pleasant surprise.
