Qyuki
Digital, the Multi-Platform Network whose forte to bring unique talent to its
audiences, has added yet another star to its list- the sufi singing sensation
from Kashmir, Aabha Hanjura.Aabha is
an award winning singer & composer, and the lead force behind her all woman
folk band “Sufistication”. Having performed across the nation, Aabha’s music is
a true representation of fusion music as she effortlessly blends today’s music
with vintage influences. One of the youngest finalists of Indian Idol, Aabha
has performed at leading premier folk festivals in India. She has also been
featured in The Kashmiri Folk ensemble which jams together with a plethora of
authentic Kashmiri instruments such as the Rabab, Santoor, Kashmiri Sarangi and
tumbankari. Her first single was unveiled by none other than former president
of India, Late Dr Abdul Kalam Azad. Aabha
Hanjura kick starts her association with Qyuki Digital with a song titled
‘Hukkus Bukkus’ - a rendition in the form of a ballad which has inspired many
poets and has seen various form through the years.

base.Kashmiri as a language & folk music of Kashmir hasn’t really been
represented in the mainstream much,and that’s exactly what I aim to do with my
forthcoming album, Aabha Hanjura & The Sound Of Kashmir,the idea is to
present a new age sound,that’s a blend of Indian ethnic instruments like the
rabab & santoor with modern contemporary genres of music,we’re trying to
put out a new indian sound out there & showcase that Folk is Fun !I do hope
this sound travels the world! I look
