Amazon unveils the largest Standalone Fashion
Imaging Studio in India
Offering over 44,000
sq. ft. of state-of-the-art digital imaging space, the studio is the first of
its kind in the country, and only third of its kind globally by Amazon
The studio is equipped to produce large volumes of
high quality images every year to support Amazon Fashion’s rapidly growing
business in India.
After the successful launch of the Fashion Studios
in New York and London, Amazon unveiled the largest standalone fashion imaging
studio in India on the evening of September 13,
2017 in Gurgaon.
The elaborate soiree hosted by Amazon Fashion had
celebrating the launch of the iconic studio by Amazon, ‘BLINK,’ was attended by
prominent designers and personalities from the fashion industry such as Suhil
Sethi, Tarun Tahiliani, AD Singh, Kalyani Chawla, Archana Vijaya, Aparna Bajaj,
designers Sumeet Verma, Ashima Leena, JJ Valaya, Rina Dhaka, Varun Bahl, Manish
Arora, Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, Dhruv Kapoor, Amit Aggarwal to name a few
with Mr. Arun Sirdeshmukh – Head of Amazon Fashion, Aparna Batra and Narendra
Kumar – Creative Head at Amazon Fashion
The guests were delighted with surprises such as
the fabulous visual display choreographed by Aparna Bahl throughout the evening
as they discovered the global facility that marked its first ever opening in
India, becoming the largest fashion photography studio present in the country.
Spread over 44,000 sq. ft. with
state-of-the-art digital imaging facility, the studio is first of its kind in
India and only third of its kind globally by Amazon. In addition to 16
individual high-tech photography bays, the studio also has a large editorial
suite, video editing facilities and creative spaces. Established as a Center
for Creative Excellence, the studio will enable Amazon Fashion to creatively
collaborate with Fashion brands and partners to produce lakhs of high quality
images for its fashion merchandize every year.

Since the start of 2017,
Amazon Fashion added close to 50 top fashion brands
to its offerings including iconic fashion brands that debuted in India like
Under Armour, Steve Madden Jewelry, Juicy Couture Watches and many more. Its
growing selection includes Marks & Spencer, New Balance, Forever 21,
Forever New, French Connection, Calvin Klein, Mothercare, watches from Michael
Kors, Emporio Armani, Versus by Versace, and more.

Amazon Fashion customers can browse over two million fashion products from
specially curated stores for Apparels, Shoes, Jewellery, Handbag, Luggage, and
