Bollywood

film, Judwaa 2. After enjoying the
success of the film's release which has joined the 100 crore clubs, the actress has now signed Anubhav
Sinha’s next a social thriller titled Mulk. The film will also feature Rishi
Kapoor and Taapsee plays the role of his daughter-in-law in the movie. Mulk is
a story inspired by true events, about a joint family that is involved in a
controversy and Taapsee’s character is helping the family reclaim their honor. The diva has impressed us with all the characters
that she played in movies like Pink, Naam Shabana, Chashme Badoor and the most
recent Judwaa 2. She has got a new
character for her fans now. She is playing a 'Lawyer' in her upcoming courtroom
drama 'Mulk'.
She
has been taking her work seriously with every role she does, but this time it
has become more intense. We recently heard that Taapsee has been meeting her
lawyer friends and many other lawyers to get more and more knowledge about the
profession. She has also been reading many law books to understand the nuances
to justify her role. When asked Taapsee she said, “I have a few friends who are
lawyers and one of them handles some really high profile criminal cases. I met
them a few times with my script for them to help me know how such cases are
fought and presented in court and what kind of emotion a lawyer goes through
while presenting those arguments. It’s interesting how my job helps me get into
shoes of some really diverse people.”
