Natalia Cordova-Buckley who is popular for her
character in the Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D has added an animated movie to her list
of movies. She had been added to the star cast of Pixar’s upcoming Oscar
hopeful Coco where she will lend her voice to the legendary Mexican artist
Frida Kahlo in the film. The news broke out just a month before the movie’s
theatrical debut. Cordova- Buckley will be seen doing a cameo in the English
version of the film. The movie follows a character named Miguel played by
Anthony Gonzalez, who — through a mysterious and otherworldly chain of events comes across a charming trickster Héctor
played by Gael García Bernal and sets off on a musical adventure to unlock the
real story behind his family history. Cordova-Buckley confirmed the news by taking on
social media to celebrate being able to bring an iconic artist like Frida Kahlo
to life on the big screen, even if it’s only in animation.Written and directed by Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3)
and Adrian Molina (The Good Dinosaur), Disney Pixar’s Coco hits theaters on
November 22, 2017.
