I am happy to wear regular clothes again : Ankit Arora

Taking a break from costume dramas, actor Ankit Arora is more than happy to be sporting regular jeans and jackets on screen again. The actor, who is back on television with Hum Tum Telefilms and Sunny Side Up Films's Badho Bahu, is playing the character of Balwinder who is a coaches Rana Singh Ahlawat, played by Arhaan Khan.
Talking about the project, he says, “Getting the role of Balwinder was quick. I got a call from the casting team at midnight and the next day morning I was asked to report on the set. Playing this character is indeed a nice change for me as I am happy to wear the regular clothes again. Sporting jeans and jackets and riding a bike feels really nice. My introduction scene has been appreciated a lot."
Since he signed the show so fast, Ankit is busy beefing up for his character, as he shoots the show. “There was hardly any time to prepare for my role. I am going to gym whenever I am getting an opportunity. I have to do it as am playing a boxer in the show,” he says.

Ask him about his favourite sports films, and he says, “I have loved Chak De! India, Dangal, Rocky. Whenever I watched these movies, I get goose bumps and they inspire me a lot. One can learn so many aspects of life from watching these movies."
