Dolly Sohi, who is currently part of Ravindra Gautam’s Meri Durga makes sure to
take out time for things that matter to her. The actor recently took part in a
beauty and pageant and even won a title there. Daljeet
Kaurr who was Mrs India Universe 2016 organised 2nd IAWA Beauty Pageant at Lokhandwala Garden,
Andheri West. She planned six categories- Mr India,Miss India,Mrs India, Mr
India married,Mrs Exclusive and Mr Exclusive for contestant. Twenty seven
contestants came from Mumbai, Haryana, New Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur,
Kashmir and Gujarat. Dolly won the title of Mrs India IAWA. “It
was a wonderful experience and I have some great memories from the pageant. I
was the only celebrity contestant so there was a lot of attention and crowd
around me. And honestly I was enjoying all the attention. People were sharing
how much I have changed since my Bhabhi days. Fans were clicking selfies with
me,” says Dolly. In fact, she decided to
use this platform to speak for a cause she believes in. “For me, the
participation was very important because this pageant supports the cause of
stopping domestic violence. In fact, in the talent round I did an act which
showcased the power of Devi Durga to Maa Kaali. And also I gave out a speech on
domestic violence. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience which I will
always cherish,” she says
