I always shy away from my birthdays : Rohit Bhardwaj

Actors in the tinsel town are always busy when it comes to celebrating their birthdays. But there is someone who is always shying away from his birthday every year. We are talking about actor Rohit Bhardwaj who played the character of Yudhistir in Swastik Productions Mahabharat. Rohit will be celebrating his birthday on 30th January. When asked about the celebration Rohit says,"I am someone who  always run away from my birthday celebrations. I will do a Rudrabhishek in my office as I am a firm believer of Lord Shiva. So a puja in the office I feel is a must on birthday and then will try to spend some quality time with my daughter. And will go for a quiet dinner." So what gift you want to give yourself this birthday? Rohit says,"A lot of work. Because currently I am working on something which people will come to know shortly." Rohit came back from Indonesia couple of years back after a fruitful career abroad. He has got oodles of love and fan following there. Since then he is working on something which he is going to reveal soon. On being asked what is the philosophy of his life he says, "Live and let live. It's nice to be important but it is more important to be nice. Firm determination and following your heart matters "
Ask him how important are good looks for an actor, and he says, "I think looks is just a perception, the actor should know his work properly and there are many examples to prove this. Good looks get more fans but at the end of the day, you should know acting. If you are giving your 100% to the character then ultimately you become good looking. This is what I think and I believe." Talking about his future plans, Rohit says that he is looking out for different content. "I don't want to do Saas Bahu shows anymore. I prefer to do realistic work. Maybe if a show like 24 comes along, I might take it up," he says.
