Fans of the VIVO IPL 2018 were treated to the presence of two of
Bollywood’s most adored Superstars – Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor, as they
took to the stage for the segment on Kent Cricket Live this Saturday the 28th
of April 2018. The duo brought a fresh breath of youthful enthusiasm to the
show as they reminisced about their days of cricket fever.
Expressing
adoration for their favourite VIVO IPL team, the duo enjoys a game of ‘Kaun
Banega 102 not out’ joined by expert commentators Dean jones and Srikanth
exclusively on Star Sports Network – the new home for VIVO IPL 2018.
Talking about
the times spent playing cricket on movie sets during their earlier days, the
duo expressed their opinion on the two VIVO IPL teams clashing heads tonight on
the Star Sports Network. Although Amitabh Bachchan has stated in the past that
there is inevitably no preference when it comes to VIVO IPL in his family, as
everyone comes from diverse backgrounds, on further probing “Even though Mumbai
Indians are going through a rough patch, I would still want to walk the streets
of Mumbai, shouting that I am a Mumbai Indians supporter. I am a die-hard
Mumbai Indians Fan. On the other hand, Chennai, Super Kings is playing really
well right now. Compared to the other VIVO IPL teams, CSK players have the most
experience on the field”. Said Amitabh
Bachchan when asked about his favourite VIVO IPL team.
Finding common
ground with Amitabh, Rishi Kapoor acknowledged his soft spot for the Mumbai
Indians team as well by saying, “Mumbai Indians are going through a bit of bad
luck at the moment but I am sure they will be able to pull through in the end.”
The segment of
Kent Cricket Live was aired on Saturday the 28th, April 2018 and was hosted by
Arjun Pandit. The exclusive segment featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi
Kapoor, highlighted their upcoming movie “102 Not Out” and was aired during the
pre-show of the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings VIVO IPL fixture.
