One
of the notable events recently in the Food world was the Food Food Awards
organized by the TV Channel in association with BBC Good Food Magazine, that had some of the most talented Chefs,
Restaurateurs, Mixologists and other food folks together. One of the surprises
of the evening was that Anaida-The Princess of Pop of yore was given the
coveted prize for the Best Chef of the Year in the stand alone Restaurant
category for 2018.

Kid you would be nostalgic about the Hindi pop era that started around then.
Singers like Alisha Chinoy, Baba Sehgal and Anaida helped pioneer a new of era
and Music and entertainment. Little did anyone know the teenager who released
the first ever Hindi pop single “Hotline” in India did barely speak any Hindi
at the time. She went on to sing in 13 languages and on to
international projects and then followed it with painting and leather carvings
and producing meditation tracks one of which topped the UK Itune charts a year
ago she has constantly dabbled in different forms of arts simultaneously what
the world had no idea about is that she
loves to cook until we were informed that she received the Best Chef of the
year award for a Standalone Restaurant category recently at the Good Food
Awards in Mumbai.
Anaida, the multi-dimensional artist Singer,
Writer, Composer, Foodie, Painter, Sculptor, Spiritual Guru, Public Speaker is
now a certified Chef. She also writes a column with recipes on healing food for
BBC Good Food Magazine and conducts workshops for charity on multiple wellness
modalities such as Stress Management, Energy alignment, Food and Spirituality,
Art and spirituality called “Power of YOU”.
Anaida has been busy with Holistic ventures for
the past few years with Food and Spirituality. It all started in good fun with
a series of Authentic Persian food pop ups that she did in four different
cities that turned out to become a food venture with SodaBottleOpenerWala at
Powai ,Mumbai. Her culinary skills with her very specialty dishes Esfahan Beryani
(riceless) and Persian Haleem achieved
acclaim being declared winners at the 11th
Handi festival in Hyderabad, 2017. Anaida also featured
on Chef Gary Mehigan’s (Judge on MasterChef Australia) show ’Masters of Taste’
which featured on leading channels worldwide.
