Just
like all Indians , the fashion industry was also deeply effected by the Pulwama
terrorist attack. To pay tribute to the martyrs , models , designer Deepali
Parekh and Actor Karan Singh Chhabra released balloons during a running fashion
show (Pernia s Popop Show) and observed a minute's silence.
On
Being asked Karan said , " I was told last minute about this thought that
the designer had in mind. Though lighting candles or releasing balloons cannot
bring back our soldiers , but this was our way to tell the families of the
martyrs that we stand with them in this moment of grief"

Parekh , the designer said "I was deeply effected by the news and wanted
to do something to pay tribute to the soldiers and this was my way of
expressing"
