Chakraborty, composed by Deepak Pandit and penned by ManojMuntashir, this love
ballad will stay with you for a long time.
Kaushiki Chakraborty hails from a well-renowned
musical family of Kolkata. She is known for her repertoire of Khyals and
Thumris. She has been recognized for her talent by many National and
International organizations. In 2005, BBC awarded
Kaushiki Chakraborty for her outstanding achievement in music when she was only
25 years old.
Deepak Pandit is an ace violinist and a composer
of class. After Times Music’s Humnasheen composed by Deepak and sung by Shreya
Ghoshal, this is another gem from Deepak’s magical box.
ManojMuntashir is a man of many words. ‘Teri
Galliyan’, ‘PhirBhiTumkoChaahunga’, ‘KaunTujhe’ are a few of the many songs he
has penned for major Bollywood films.
“Ghazals are such a beautiful part of my life and
‘Tera Khayal’ is so well written. It was an amazing experience to sing and
shoot for this track,” said Kaushiki Chakraborty.
The lyrics of ‘Tera Khayal’ are so beautiful and
Kaushiki has sung the composition very beautifully. I wanted to make sure we do
justice with the music and I am very happy with how everything has turned out.
