While Murder was made on a budget of 19cr, the film grossedover 58 Cr worldwide, Jannat collected Rs.32,47,00,000 in 5 weeks, aconsiderable amount for its small budget. Murder 2 collected 36.5 crores in its first week while Raaz 2 grossed over Rs.30 crore at thebox office, making it the highest grossing horror film in India

Bobby Deol will be now bowling for Mumbai Heroes

MumbaiHeroes Team has not only begun practicing for the forthcoming season, but arealso adding players for on-field offensive. The latest is that the team (ownedby Sohail Khan) has got Bobby Deol on board.
It is learnt that Bobby has been roped into the team for his bowling skills.Our source says, "Although Bobby is good with the bat too, it's hisswingers that have impressed Suniel Shetty and Sohail enough to bring him totheir team." It appears that Suniel is instrumental in getting playersfrom Bollywood to build a good team.
"Besides, the starry line-up will get a bigger audience for the tournamentnext month," adds our source. Bobby's love for the game is well known inB-Town.
"Bobby's known to indulge in the game with his friends as and when timepermits. So when he was asked to join the Mumbai Heroes, he immediatelyagreed," reveals our informer.
Not surprisingly, the actor has also started practicing with his team mates atthe Air-India ground in the suburbs. "Bobby is a good bet to spearhead thebowling attack. And he can be a solid batsman to hold the middle order if thegoing gets tough," said our source.

Debutante Kunal Pant ready to rock the acting world with ‘Sadda Adda’

Talented actor model Kunal Pant, a graduate from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune (FTII, Pune, 2010) features in Rajtaru Studios’ eagerly awaited youth-centric rom-com ‘Sadda Adda’ written and directed by Muazzam Beg due for January 2012 release. Rajtaru Studios Ltd forays into film 'Sadda Adda' due for a 13th January 2012 release worldwide.  The film is written and directed by Muazzam Beg and stars Rohin Robert, Karanvir Sharma, Bhaumik Sampat, Rohit Arora, Kunal Pant and Parimal Aloke, Shaurya Chauhan, Kahkkashan Aryan.
The tall actor has done projects with eminent filmmakers such as Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Raman Kumar, Umesh Kulkarni and  Kamal K. Mohammad. His critically acclaimed film "Alif" directed by Kamal K Mohammad was shown in Mumbai International film festival 2011.He has also done theatre with Rudradeep Chakrabarti (NSD) and also assisted Mahesh Dattani in his Production for his play Cherry Orchard. His recent work also includes commercials (TVC's) for Nokia Priority (On Air), Airtel, Nestle Bar One and Reliance 3G and Volkswagen.

 This slice of life film is set in the backdrop of our capital city- Delhi. A city that brings in thousands of North Indians in search of opportunities that was never available in their own home towns. Like-wise, six boys from different states come together to share a Two BHK apartment in a middle-class colony, which they lovingly call "Sadda Adda". This film is their story. It is about how six bachelors, with completely different backgrounds and personalities, live together. Their apartment "Sadda Adda" is a complete mess with empty beer bottles, cigarette butts, unwashed clothes, mattresses tossed all over the floor etc - yet together they cook food, clean, buy groceries, pay rent, laugh, cry, fight over insignificant issues and always stand up for each other - like a family. "Sadda Adda" which began as a transitional accommodation to help them work towards their dreams, becomes their home. The film takes us through a journey of their camaraderie and self-belief. The interwoven stories of these 6 characters takes us through a heartwarming journey of the lives of these boys. This movie is about real characters from life who have fun, who fight the wave everyday and through very light heart moments inspire us in the most modest way. The crests and troughs that shape them into the men they will become in the future - because Boys will not always be boys, explains film writer Muazzam Beg.

This followed by the uptempo the hit single, Miss Independent, Shiamak’s singing hadthe audiences grooving along!
