गैंग्स ऑफ़ वासेपुर रिलीज़ से पहले ही काफी प्रशंसा बटोर चुकी थी. रिलीज़ के बाद सबके सामने उसका परिणाम भी आ चुका है. सभी नॉन- मेट्रो शहरों में ये फ़िल्म बहुत सफल रही. गैंग्स ऑफ़ वासेपुर को व्यापक रूप से बतौर कमर्शियल फ़िल्म स्वीकार किया गया है. अनुराग कश्यप ने अपनी पहली कमर्शियल फ़िल्म से वाकई धूम मचा दी है.
सिंगल स्क्रीन के दर्शकों को ये फ़िल्म खूब पसंद आ रही है. फ़िल्म के एक एक सीन का मज़ा उठाया है उन्होंने. हर किसी का मानना है कि फ़िल्म एक सम्पूर्ण पैकेज है जो एक दर्शक अक्सर फिल्मों में ढूँढता है. और खासतौर से लोगों को इस फ़िल्म की कहानी और संवाद बेहद पसंद आ रहे हैं.
अभी तक तो गैंग्स ऑफ़ वासेपुर का पहला भाग ही रिलीज़ हुआ है. अब लोग दूसरे भाग का भी बेसब्री से इंतज़ार कर रहे हैं. पहले भाग के प्रतिक्रिया को देख कर सबको विशवास है कि फ़िल्म का दूसरा भाग भी काफी ज़ोरदार ही होगा.

Indian Idols’ well-known contestant SwaroopKhan and Swati Sharma the actress of the latest film ‘overtime’ made a shortvisit to Noida’s Spice mall yesterday. The film’s producer, Director Ajay Yadavand lead Actor was also present to address the media.

Swaroop Khan who was among the top 3contestants of Indian Idol stole hearts of many. Now the Singer is all set todebut in bollywood with the film ‘overtime’. Swaroop Khan gave a 20 minperformance with the film’s lead actress Swati Sharma.

Overtime isbased on a realistic view of life. It takes you inside the lives of the peopleand discovers that how some un-expected turns jumble the lives of ourcharacters and leads them to their respective destiny.

Makers of Barfi have decided to keep Priyanka Chopra's character Jhilmil under wraps completely. While she will be there in all promotions and will be the face of communication alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Illena Dsouza, her character Jhilmil, journey of her character and her story will not be revealed at all and will be hidden completely.
Extra care would be taken to hide her character. A source close to the unit explains, "Jhimil is a surprise package and it needs to be treated like that. We don't want to unveil all cards at the same time. The first theatrical establishes Barfi and his character. Every new unit would be introduced to showcase a little more of the film. However Jhilmil wont be revealed till the release". 
Shikha Kapur, executive director, marketing, studios, Disney UTV, says, "Priyanka plays a very special character in Barfi, so we want to keep her mystery intact. In the first trailer Barfi- played by Ranbir- will be unveiled. We don't plan to reveal Priyanka until the film releases."
In fact in the first trailer, Anurag Basu has beautifully hidden her. While she is there, you are left searching what's her character like, what is she doing and looking for her.

Pakodas and chutney withAjay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan!

Movie promotions in Bollywood are reaching new levels everyyear. Another glaring example of this is the latest strategy being adopted byRathi Group of Cinemas, which owns a chain of single-screen cinema halls acrosscentral India. 
For the release of Rohit Shetty’s Bol Bachchan this week, featuringAjay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Asin, Prachi Desai and a special title trackfeaturing Amitabh Bachchan, the group’s director Akshaye Rathi has come up witha unique promotional concept. 
The film features Ajay Devgn as a pehalwaan (strongman) fromRajasthan. Bringing in novelty to promotions at the onset of monsoons, Rathi hascalled in Rajasthani chefs who would be preparing moong dal ke pakode with pudinachutney, mirchi ke bade (adelicacy from Jodhpur) and kullad kiadrak waali chai. 
“These will be served to the audience during the run of thefilm,” informs the group’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar. “Serving these disheswhich are enjoyed most during the rains, could make the movie going experience moreenjoyable,” he adds.
