Multilingual Kaushik

Mumbai ka chora Kaushik Deshpande is a man of many talents. He has already proved his singing prowess in the popular singing reality show Indian Idol 6 and now he is all geared to surprise the judges and audience with something new.

Kaushik recently showed his multilingual skills in the third gala round of Indian Idol 6 by singing songs in not just one but five different languages. Yes FIVE different languages! Kaushik amazed the judges by singing songs in English, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali and Gujarati. His singing competency in these different languages had the judges flabbergasted and rooting for him. Anu Malik went on to refer Kaushik as the “Dark Horse” of the competition and was in all praises for the Marathi mulga.

Imran Khan Surprises Poorvi Koutish of Indian Idol

That was what Imran Khan said to Poorvi Koutish when Bollywood’s chocolate boy visited the sets of Indian Idol 6. That was not the only surprise the actor had up his sleeves. To know more read on… 
Imran Khan made a stopover on the sets of the popular singing reality show and brought with him a kitty of surprises. The first surprise was for contestant Poorvi Koutish who was a big Imran Khan fan. The Chandigarh girl was awe struck and couldn’t say much. All she did was to express her excitement by singing a song from one of Imran’s film. The moment of the evening came when Imran hugged Poorvi and made her teenage dream come true. The other surprise was for Ritika Raj. The youngest Khan surprised young Ritika by connecting her to her dad in Patna via video chat. Ritika was in tears and had Imran to blame for it.
Now that’s called a REAL surprise!

‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Dewaani will release on the 29 th of March, 2013.

Dharma Productions’ upcoming movie ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ has found its release date. The film was scheduled to release in the first month of the year 2013, but however now the final dates are out. The movie will release on the 29 th of March, 2013.
Recently, Karan Johar posted on a micro – blogging site stating “Our RANBIR-DEEPIKA film titled YEH JAWAANI HAI DEEWANI directed by AYAN MUKERJI will now release MARCH 29th, 2013…”
Apart from the talked about couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, this movie is starring actors like Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur. The movie is directed by Ayan Mukherji and this is his second venture with Dharma Productions’ and Ranbir Kapoor after his directorial debut with ‘Wake Up Sid’. The movie is Ranbir and Deepika’s second on screen venture but however their first Dharma venture together.
In addition, a new face Evelyn Sharma will also be a part of this movie. The movie has been shot in exotic locations till date such as Turkey, Udaipur and Rajasthan. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has already created buzz because of the star cast and after ‘Wake Up Sid’ the audiences have high expectations from Ayan Mukherji.

बोल्ड अवतार में भी बेहद सराही गयी दीपिका

कॉकटेल पहली रोमांटिक फ़िल्म है जिसको इतनी बड़ी ओपनिंग मिली है. ज़िन्दगी न मिलेगी दोबारा ने ७ करोड़ और रॉकस्टार ने ८.५ करोड़ के साथ ओपनिंग की थी लेकिन कॉकटेल ने उन सभी से आगे जा कर ११ करोड़ के साथ ओपनिंग की है. कॉकटेल फ़िल्म बहुत बड़ी  हिट हो चुकी है. इस फ़िल्म से सबको काफी उम्मीदें थी और उन उम्मीदों पर ये फ़िल्म खरी भी उतरी है. कॉकटेल के पोस्टर में दिनेश और सैफ ने दीपिका को सैफ और डायना के बीच में रखकर एक बड़ा रिस्क लिया था और उनका ये दांव काम कर गया. फ़िल्म ने हफ्ते भर में ३६ करोड़ का व्यापर किया है जो कि अभी तक की सबसे बड़ी संख्या है.
सबसे ज्यादा दीपिका अपने एक्टिंग और परफोर्मेंस के लिए चर्चा में हैं. फ़िल्म समीक्षकों से लेकर दर्शक तक दीपिका की वाह वाही करते थक नहीं रहे हैं. जिस तरह के रोल वो आज तक करती आई हैं उन सभी के लिए उन्हें हमेशा सराहा गया है. वो अपने किरदार को काफी बेहतरीन तरीके से आज तक निभाते आई हैं. और दर्शकों ने हमेशा उन्हें पसंद किया है. इस बार दीपिका ने लीग से हटकर एक रोल करने का फैसला किया. मीरा और वेरोनिका के बीच में उन्हें कोई एक किरदार चुनना था और उन्होंने वेरोनिका चुना. कॉकटेल में दीपिका ने वेरोनिका का किरदार निभाने के लिए हामी तो भर दी थी लेकिन पहले वो थोड़ी नर्वस थी कि लोग उन्हें इस किस्म के बोल्ड किरदार में पसंद करेंगे भी या नहीं.
दीपिका के लिए वेरोनिका का रोल काफी हद तक मुश्किल और चुनौतीपूर्ण था. इस तरह के बोल्ड, सेक्सी और हॉट अवतार में दीपिका इससे पहले कभी नहीं दिखी थी. फ़िल्म में कई सीन ऐसे हैं जहां कोई डायलोग नहीं है लेकिन दीपिका ने बेहद ख़ूबसूरती से वैसे सीन को निभाया है. उन्होंने इसके पहले कभी भी इस प्रकार का किरदार नहीं निभाया था. लेकिन फ़िल्म रिलीज़ होने के बाद ये समझ आ गया कि उन्होंने इस किरदार को चुनकर कोई गलती नहीं की. और बड़े ही सच्चाई से अपने किरदार को निभाया है और पूरी तरह से न्याय भी किया है. शायद इनके अलावा ये किरदार और कोई इतनी बखूबी से निभा नहीं पाता.
दर्शकों की माने तो दीपिका कॉकटेल की जान थी. दर्शकों ने दीपिका को इसमें खूब पसंद किया है. उनके अभिनय का एक नया रूप देखने मिला और उन्होंने फिर से एक बार खुद को साबित कर दिया कि वो किस दर्जे की अभिनेत्री हैं.
