Nawazzudin and Huma Qureshi have found a connection, a very romantic one at that. Having realized the common passion they share for Bollywood films they decided to go on a matinee date today.
Nawaz and Huma often chat about romantic dialogues from Hindi films which is where the idea to watch DDLJ together was born.
Nawazzudin and Huma Qureshi, who are also playing love interest in the film, made an appearance at Maratha Mandir theatre at Mumbai Central to watch the 11.30 am show of Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. Nawazzudin and Huma bought two balcony tickets from the ticket counter to enjoy their film. A movie watching experience is always incomplete without popcorn, so Nawazzudin and Huma headed towards the Maratha Mandir canteen to buy popcorn. Nawazzudin and Huma also shared a scene from the film where Nawaz’s character in the film, Faizal is asking Huma’s character out for a film being the great movie buffs that they are even in the film. After giving janta bytes they headed towards the first floor balcony gate to enjoy DDLJ together.
Based on underworld coal mafia in and around Dhanbad, Gangs of Wasseypur II is set in the 2000s and is centrally driven by Nawazzudin’s character Faizal’s revenge who draws parallel from real life coal mafia don Faheem Khan who is currently in jail.
