इमरान ने की मोहम्मद अली रोड पर इफ्तारी

मुंबई का मोहम्मद अली रोड अपने स्वादिष्ट व्यंजनों के लिए काफी मशहूर है. यूँ तो वहां हमेशा लोगों की तादाद लगी रहती है और लोग दूर दूर से वहां खाने आते हैं. लेकिन रमजान के वक़्त वहां का माहौल कुछ अलग ही होता है. शाम को रोज़ा खोलने के समय तो वो जगह देखने लायक होती है, बहुत ही खुशनुमा और जीवंत वातावरण होता है है मोहम्मद अली रोड का.
इमरान खान को कई दिनों से मोहम्मद अली रोड जाने का बड़ा मन था और वो भी रमजान के दौरान. काम में व्यस्त होने की वजह से वो समय नही निकाल पा रहे थे. यूँ तो इमरान हर साल मोहम्मद अली रोड जाते हैं लेकिन हर बार वो चुपचाप से वहां जा कर निकल जाते थे लेकिन इस बार उन्हें कैमरे में कैद कर लिया गया. काम की वजह से इमरान रोज़ा नहीं रख पाते हैं और रमजान के इसी माहौल को महसूस करने के लिए वो वहां जाना चाहते थे. इमरान बाकायदा वहां जा कर इफ्तारी करना चाहते थे सभी के साथ. और आखिरकार उन्होंने ने मोहमद अली रोड जाने के लिए वक़्त निकाला और वहां पर सबके बीच बैठकर अच्छे से इफ्तारी भी की.
इमरान को देख वहां बड़ी तादाद में उनके चाहने वाले अपना सब काम छोड़ उनके पास आ गए. इमरान ने वहां पर खड़े सभी लोगों को अपना सलाम दिया और कई प्रशंसकों से वे खुद आगे बढकर मिले भी. इमरान ने जमकर सभी व्यंजनों का स्वाद लिया और जिन्होंने ने वहां खाना बनाया था उनसे भी मिलकर उनकी बेहद तारीफ की.

On day 4of PCJ Delhi Couture Week 2012, at Manish Malhotra’s show Katrina Kaif walkedthe ramp on 11th Aug 2012. Many big names from film industry werepresent and they were mesmerized by his design aesthetics. From filmmaker MadhurBhandarkar, to actor-director-producer Satish Kaushik,  to President of FDCI Sunil Sethi, to MD &CEO of PCJ Group Balram Garg, - they all were occupying the front seats.

BHANDARKAR LEADS THE INDIAN NEW WAVE CINEMA

In a tribute to National Award winning film director Madhur Bhandarkar, the Indian Film Festival, Berlin has offered to pay two films homage at its current edition, between 15th – 19th August 2012 in Berlin, Germany. The Festival is being organized by BNA GERMANY and the Embassy of India with ‘Visit Berlin’, will screen Bhandarkar’s  ‘Chandni Bar’ and ‘Fashion’ at Cinema Babylon in Berlin.

Bhandarkar has been invited by the Festival for its opening ceremony. It may be recalled that the Director created ripples in the film world with his offbeat film and ever since he has been coming up with subtle and stark comments through his films on various social issues. The Festival is dedicating a section ‘Leading The New Wave’ to the director, who has made award winning films like Chandni Bar, Satta, Page 3, Traffic Signal and Fashion.

The hype about Bhandarkar’s arrival in Berlin is so intense that German media is full of the news. In Berlin the Director will also participate in an intense dialogue with his fans and also release the new Promo cut of the film ‘Heroine’. Talking about the section, Festival’s Chief Executive Officer, Alexandra Ccahuana Tito says, “I have seen almost every film of Madhur Bhandarkar and I always wondered why Germany doesn’t get to see his work, so at IFF Berlin, we took this opportunity to screen two of his remarkable films, ‘Chandni Bar’ and ‘Fashion’. I am sure Madhur and Priyanka Chopra’s fans in Germany would be delighted with this.”

“I am humbled by the love and support they are showing towards me. I am glad that my films have made a special slot for people around the world. I am looking forward to be there for the festival with two of my most loved films – Chandni Bar and Fashion,” says Bhandarkar.

Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal music launch

Ravi  Kishen took centrestage and gyrated to the song Palangtod. It was fun time at the music launch of Rash Productions' Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal directed by Manish Vatsalya at Sun 'n' Sand Hotel, Juhu.
Producer Aparna Hoshing's no-expense-spared effort was very well-received and her guts to make a film like Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal was appreciated by connoiseurs and critics alike. A product of grit and energy, Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal music launch saw celebs of the likes of Ravi Kishen, H Sudhir, director-actor Manish Vatsalya, Pooja Welling, Yashpal Sharma, Murli Sharma, Ashwini Kalsekar, Siddhant Madhav, Shadab and Saberi, sufi singer Mudasir Ali, Gary Richardson and others in attendance. Other than the singers performing to them, beeboys did some amazing steps to the title song Jeena Hai Toh Thok Daal that was very well received  by the audiences.
All in all, a fun-filled evening indeed.
