Gyaankumbh emphasizes on this year’s theme of ‘Sirf Gyaan hi aapko aapka haq dilata hain’. The famous Ghadiyal babu and Srimati tik tiki have been replaced by Sui Mui which according to Big B is the parinaam of their love. Another change which has been incorporated this time around is in the video section which has been aptly names Aapki baat, aapke saath. The video features the journey of the contestant to the hot seat and reveals some unseen facets of the person.With these changes the most awaited game show promises to touch more hearts.

Lead Actress &Doctor-turned-Director of the film ‘Riwayat’addressed the media in Delhi

The Internationally acclaimedfilm ‘Riwayat’ had its lead actress Samapika Debnath and its director Dr.SanjayPatole address the media here in the capital yesterday at Pvr Plaza. Samapika,a model turned actress is all set to debut in bollywood with this film.Dr.Sanjay Patole, an Australia based Indian Doctor- Turns director with hisfirst film ‘Riwayat’ which throws light on the issue of female foeticide andinfanticide.
The movie shows how urban andrural people deal with the issue of female foeticide. “The film revolves around thelife of three women who are serious victims of domestic violence. The way theydeal with the complexities of life is the main highlight of the film.” Saidthe director.
Sanjay revealed that as a doctorhimself, he has come across so many cases that willingly want an abortion orhave been forced by the in-laws for the child being a girl. “Inthe film, I’ve also tried to show various emotions and feelings of women whoundergo the mental dilemma whether to save their babies or not” SaidSanjay.
According to the director, thefilm has been shot in India itself as the cases of female foeticide andinfanticide are high here. “I wanted to send this special messageacross people. I hope they receive something meaningful with this film and helperadicating this shocking issue from India” ended Dr.Sanjay Patole.
The film ‘Riwayat’ also stars Achint Kaur,Khalid Siddique and Salil Ankola in the lead.
‘Riwayat’ will hit the theatreson 7th September.

SASHA AAGHA JOINS THE CAST OF YRF’s“AURANGZEB”

SashaAagha joins the cast ofYRF’s AURANGZEB, directed byAtul Sabharwal and produced by Aditya Chopra, which started shootingmid-August. 
Sasha will be playing a glamorous role in a strikingnew look in her debut film opposite ArjunKapoor, who plays a double role in this intriguing drama, along withPrithviraj, in lead roles. Thefilm already boasts of a dynamic cast of RishiKapoor, Jackie Shroffand Amrita Singh. 
The film is scheduled for an early 2013 release.

दीपिका अपने पिता प्रकाश पादुकोण जी को अपना गुरू मानती हैं. प्रकाश जी बैडमिन्टन खेल के जाने माने अनुभवी खिलाड़ी हैं. उन्होंने हमेशा से दीपिका को प्रेरित किया है. दीपिका के हर फैसले पर उनका साथ दिया है. उनका बस यही मानना था कि दीपिका जिस भी क्षेत्र में जाएँ वहां अपना नाम कमाएं. और दीपिका ने अपने पिता की इस बात को साबित करके दिखा भी दिया. आज वो बॉलीवुड की टॉप अभिनेत्रियों में आती हैं. पर सबसे महत्वपूर्ण चीज़ जो दीपिका ने अपने पिता से सीखी है वो है स्पोर्ट्समैनशिप. प्रकाश जी सदा इस बात पर अटल रहे की कॉम्पिटिशन चाहे कितना भी तगड़ा क्यूँ न हो, इंसान को इमानदारी से प्रतिस्पर्धा करना चाहिए. छल से जीतकर भले ही कोई नंबर वन बन जाये लेकिन वो कभी सफल नहीं होते हैं. इस बात को जैसे दीपिका ने अपने ज़हन में बसा लिया और भली भाँती अपने रोज़ की ज़िन्दगी में इसे लागू करती हैं.
हालाकि अगर वो अभिनेत्री नहीं बनती तो आज बैडमिन्टन की खिलाड़ी होतीं. वो बचपन से ही अपने पिता के साथ बैडमिन्टन खेलती आई हैं. उन्होंने कई टूर्नामेंट भी जीते थे. दीपिका बैडमिन्टन की बहतरीन खिलाड़ी हैं. आज भी जब कभी उन्हें वक़्त मिलता है तो वो अपने पिता के साथ बैडमिन्टन खेलना पसंद करती हैं.
दीपिका में अपने पिता जैसे ही गुण हैं. उनके पिता शुरू से अनुशासित रहे, उसी प्रकार दीपिका भी अपनी ज़िन्दगी में अनुशासन से रहना पसंद करती हैं. प्रकाश जी इतने जाने माने खिलाड़ी रह चुके हैं उसके बावजूद वो एक सरल जीवन जीने में विश्वास रखते हैं और उन्होंने दीपिका को भी यही बात सिखाई है कि भले वो कितना ही ऊंचा दर्जा क्यूँ न हासिल कर लें पर उसका घमंड कभी नहीं होना चाहिए. और दीपिका ने वाकई में अपने पिता की बातों का पालन किया है, घमंड उनके स्वाभाव में कभी नहीं आता है और वो भी सदा जीवन जीने में ही विश्वास रखती हैं.
