SUBHASH GHAI TITLES HIS NEW DIRECTORIAL MOVIE AS ‘KAANCHI’

Kaanchi is a musical thriller love story to be directed by Subhash Ghai under the banner of Mukta Arts Ltd. Subhash Ghai will introduce a new star cast.

Rishi Kapoor will be a playing a role of a Villian. Other cast and credits are being finalised.Two songs has been recorded by Ismail Darbar and Salim Suleman.The Film is schedule to release on 15^thAugust 2013.

Mukta Arts will celebrate its 34th anniversary on 24th October with a filmography of producing 35 films out which 14 have been written and directed by Subhash Ghai with 11 hits and brought 12 heroines into lime light of stardom in Bollywood.

24th October is also the wedding anniversary of Subhash Ghai and Rehana Ghai.

Subhash Ghai "I have been working on the script of Kaanchi for last three years and good to see that it is going to be on the floor to make a motion picture for my audience .I am as excited as i was in Kaalicharran or Taal, its something that i have to make for one and all."

After English Vinglish, Actress Priya Anand bags two major Bollywood films - Rangrez & Fukrey

Priya Anand, who made her big screen Bollywood debut as Sridevi’s niece in English Vinglish has signed her third film in Bollywood, second being Priyadarshan’s Hindi remake of Nadodigal, titled Rangrez opposite Jackky Bhagnani. The actress has now clinched a lead role in Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Fukrey opposite Pulkit Samrat. The movie is set against a college backdrop.

A source adds, " Priya is a big name down south. Ever since her big break in English Vinglish she has been getting many offers. The scripts that are coming her way are really good."

When contacted, Ritesh Sidhwani confirmed the news. His spokesperson said, "Everyone loved Priya's performance in English Vinglish. This will be her first central potrayal in a youth-centric romantic film.The shoot starts next month in Delhi. "

PINKY CAMPBELL

Pinky Campbell, previously Pinky Sharma, is a model and actress born in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
Pinky’s interest in modelling started at a very young age. She used to participate in fashion shows, commercials and various modelling assignments in Jaipur. When she turned seventeen, Pinky decided to pursue an Interior Designing degree in Germany. After completing the curriculum, she returned to Mumbai where she enrolled in Roshan Taneja’s Acting course and was approached to do films, fashion shows and commercials.
Pinky was offered her first feature film called ‘Censor’, directed by veteran Dev Anand. In the film, Pinky played the lead character of Mohini, and thus decided to adapt “Mohini Sharma” as a stage name for her career. Later, she bagged films such as ‘Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat’, ‘Yeh Mohabbat Hain’ and ‘Ek Anokhi Kahaani’.She has worked with the likes of Arjun Rampal, Suniel Shetty, Aftab Shivdasani, Manisha Koirala, Arshad Warsi and Sonu Nigam.
Apart from feature films, Pinky has done various advertisements and commercials alongside International stars such as George Clooney and David Beckham. Some of the brands that she has been associated with include Pepsi, Target, Budweiser, Citibank and Martini. She was also chosen as the Brand Ambassador of Sensui.
Pinky moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to pursue acting assignments in Hollywood. She studied at the Stella Adler Academy and Theatre of Art in LA. After completing the same, Pinky acted in films such as An American Carol (directed by David Zucker), Spread (David Mackenzie) andGroup Sex (Lawrence Trilling).

Pinky has also acted on television shows like How I Met Your Mother, My Boys, Numb3rs, Greek, Swingtown and True Blood. She has also worked behind the camera as an Assistant Director on various projects.
On the personal front, Pinky is outdoorsy and rejuvenates by being around nature. She still retains her interest in designing, as she loves to be updated with modern fashion and trends. She hopes to build her own fashion-line some day. Charity is very close to her heart and she enjoys working for the benefit of children. She wants to start her own charitable institution to support this cause.
Pinky has several projects in the pipeline and is looking forward to taking on challenging, enriching roles that will showcase her talent and passion for the entertainment industry.

'Student Of The year' Promotions In Delhi

‘Students Of the year’ along with their principal Karan Johar were in Delhi to promote their film ‘Student Of the Year’. A press conference was held at the Double tree Hilton Hotel in gurgaon which was addressed by Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sidarth Malhotra and Director Karan Johar.The film is soon releasing on the 19^th of October.
