PRIYANKA CHOPRA JOINS THE CAST OF YRF’s “GUNDAY”

Yash Raj Films is happy to announce that Priyanka Chopra has joined the cast of GUNDAY as the leading lady and will play a pivotal role in the film.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar will go on floor this December with his next YRF project, GUNDAY, after the very successful Mere Brother ki Dulhan. Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film stars Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor in the lead male roles.

Amidst the most turbulent times in the history of Kolkata, then Calcutta, from 1971 to1988, Bikram and Bala rose from being small time wagon breakers and coal thieves to becoming the biggest and most powerful black marketing mafia-men. A rare combination of vigour and wit, the two were inseparable & the city of Calcutta swore by their friendship. As their notoriety became the stuff of legends... the People of this sprawling city started calling these two carefree rebels... GUNDAY.

This is Priyanka’s second film and both Ranveer and Arjun’s third film with the banner and it is the first time that these three dynamic actors have come together.

प्रभु देवा के नमक का स्वाद चखेंगे शाहिद कपूर

शाहिद कपूर जल्द ही प्रभु देवा की फ़िल्म नमक में दिखने वाले हैं. नमक के लिए उन्होंने खासतौर से सिर्फ शाहिद को चुना. युवा अभिनेताओं में से प्रभु देवा के दिमाग में जो पहला नाम आया वो सिर्फ और सिर्फ शाहिद का था. सलमान और अक्षय के बाद १०० करोड़ के निर्देशक के साथ काम करने की बारी अब शाहिद कपूर की है. बॉलीवुड में अपने दूसरे ही फ़िल्म से १०० करोड़ तक पहुँचने वाले प्रभु देवा अपनी तीसरी निर्देशित फ़िल्म नमक के साथ जल्द ही आयेंगे. इसके पहले प्रभु ने हिन्दी की दो बड़ी फिल्में वॉन्टेड और राऊडी राठोड का निर्देशन किया था.

शाहिद अपने अभिनय के लिए शुरू से ही काफी जाने जाते हैं. उनके किरदार और उनके अभिनय को दर्शकों ने बेहद सराहा है. उन्होंने अपने किरदार के साथ हमेशा न्याय किया है. नमक में शाहिद बिलकुल ही अलग अवतार में नज़र आयेंगे. प्रभु देवा की फ़िल्म है तो ज़ाहिर सी बात है कि शाहिद का किरदार काफी हट के और ज़ोरदार होगा.

प्रभु अपने फ़िल्म के लिए बहुत सोच समझकर अभिनेता चुनते हैं. ज़ाहिर सी बात है कि उन्होंने अगर शाहिद को चुना है तो उनमें कुछ ख़ास ज़रूर देखा होगा. शाहिद एक अच्छे अभिनेता के साथ साथ एक बहतरीन डांसर भी हैं. वो अभिनेता के तौर पर एक कम्प्लीट पैकेज हैं. प्रभु देवा खुद भी एक बहुत अच्छे डांसर और कोरियोग्राफर हैं. इस वजह से भी उनको शाहिद के साथ काम करने में और मज़ा आएगा.

नमक में शाहिद के साथ सोनाक्षी सिन्हा नज़र आएँगी. इसके पहले सोनाक्षी ने प्रभु की फ़िल्म राऊडी राठोड में अक्षय के साथ काम किया था. शाहिद और सोनाक्षी पहली दफा एक साथ काम करने जा रहे हैं. दोनों ही बहतरीन कलाकार हैं और उनके प्रशंसकों में बेहद उत्सुकता जगेगी अपने पसंदीदा कलाकारों को एक साथ देखने की.

Deepika Padukone Navratri Story

Deepika Padukone riding very high on her success of Cocktail has been working extremely hard on director Ayan Mukherjee's Yeh Jawani Hai Dewani and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next film Ram Leela.
For Ram Leela, she plans to go incognito to traditional Navarati pandals to soak in the ambience of Garba and Dandia. All this she plans to do since Ram Leela is set in Gujarat.

She is going to be playing the character of a Gujarati and hence was to learn the nuances and true culture of Gujarati people. She feels Navratri festival is a perfect time to observe and learn their behaviour and culture.
Deepika Padukone has been managing her time between two films and working round the clock. She keeps juggling between her shoots and the true actress that she is, she is also walking the extra mile to prepare for her roles in depth.
As the shoots keep her busy all day, she plans to remove time at night and quietly go with her team to these places where traditional dandiya raas is held. She is keen to soak in the culture, see how traditional set ups of Dandia happens.Deepika is known to be deeply involved as an actor in the preparations for her roles and undergoes various self learning activities in order to perfect her role and do as much justice as she can to her character. Deepika in past has been to several navratri nights during promotions of earlier films but most were modern concerts. She has never been to an authentic traditional Navratri night making this her first time that too in disguise so that she can bask in as much as she can without drawing too much attention towards herself.

Deepika Padukone will be seen in Race 2, Ayan Mukherjee's Yeh Jawani Hai Dewani and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram Leela next year.

भारतीय खाने की शौक़ीन हैं क्लौडिया

भारतीय मसालों की खुशबू से आज तक कोई भी नही बचा है और यही हाल भारतीय खाने का भी है जो भी एक बार इसका स्वाद चख ले वो इसी का ही होकर रह जाता है. कितने ही पर्यटक यहाँ आते हैं और भारतीय संस्कृति और खाने दोनों के ही दीवाने बन जाते हैं और अपनी ताउम्र यही बिता देते हैं.  ऐसी ही एक जर्मन मॉडल है क्लौडिया सिसला जो की भारत में तो रह ही रही हैं, अभिनय भी हिंदी फिल्मों में कर रही हैं और अब पता चला है कई वो भारतीय खाना विशेष कर दक्षिण भारतीय खाना जैसे इडली और मसाला डोसा की दीवानी हैं. इस बारे में उनका कहना है कि, “मुझे जब भी मौका मिलाता है मैं इडली और मसाला डोसा खाती हूँ मुझे बहुत ही पसंद हैं दोनों, इसके अलावा मुझे रसगुल्ला खाना भी बहुत ही पसंद है.” जर्मनी से सीधा क्लौडिया बिग बॉस के घर में गयी और वहाँ से निकलने के बाद अब वो यहीं इंडिया में बस गयी और अब भारतीय खाना, क्या बात है उनकी कहीं वो अपने देश जर्मनी और उसके खाने का स्वाद तो नही भूल गयी या अपने भारतीय प्रशंसकों को रिझाने की उनकी कोई नयी अदा तो नहीं है यह.

प्रोफेशनल श्रुति अस्पताल से सीधे पहुंची सेट पर

श्रुति हसन कुमार कुमार तौरानी की फिल्म में काम कर रही है जिसे प्रभुदेवा निर्देशित कर रहे है जो पुणे के बाहरी इलाके भोर में हो रही है !कई घंटो की लम्बी शूटिंग के बाद श्रुति चेन्नई जा रही थी अपने किसी काम के लिए वो बीमार पढ़ गई और उन्हे कड़ी थकान और पानी की कमी की वजह से कुछ दिनों के अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया !

प्रोफेशनल होने की वजह से जिसके श्रुति जानी भी जाती है अस्पताल से छुट्टी मिलते ही अगले ही दिन प्रभु देवा द्वारा निर्देशित फिल्म के गाने के शूटिंग के लिए वापस पुणे पहुँच गई ,ये जानते हुए कि इस गाने के लिए काफी एनर्जी की ज़रूरत है फिर श्रुति ने शूट कैंसिल नहीं किया और पूरी तरह गाने को निभाया भी !

श्रुति अभी भोर में ही है आखरी कुछ दिनों की शूटिंग पूरी कर रही है कुमार तौरानी और निर्देशक प्रभुदेवा श्रुति के काम और काम के प्रति समर्पण की भावना को देखकर काफी खुश है और इसके लिए उन्होंने श्रुति की काफी सरहना भी की !

कुमार तौरानी के अनुसार ," श्रुति काफी प्रतिभावन और प्रोफेशनल लड़की है! बीमार होने बावजूद उसने खुद शूटिंग करने के लिए बोला क्यूंकि वो शूटिंग कैंसिल करवा कर बाकि कास्ट और क्रू परेशानी में नहीं डालना चाहती थी और हम सब श्रुति की लगन देखकर काफी प्रभावित और खुश हुए!"

Shruti was shooting only outdoors for Kumar Tauranis Film directed by Prabhu deva on the outskirts of Pune in a place called Bhor. Apparently the Long hours of shooting outdoor got to the actress. After heading to Chennai for some work commitment on her day off, she collapsed and was admitted in the hospital for a few days for severe exhaustion and dehydration. Shruti being the professional that she is known to be, flew back to Pune the very next day of being discharged to shoot for a song directed by Prabhu deva.Knowing the energy required for his songs, she didn't cancel shoot and shot for the song.
Shruti is still in Bhor completing the last few days of this schedule. The producers and Prabhu are very happy with her dedication and are all praises for the actress
Kumar Taurani says "Shruti is a very talented and professional girl. Despite her falling ill she insisted on shooting and didn't want to inconvenience the rest of the cast and crew. We are very impressed with her dedication."
