Anupam Kherannounces his next directorial venture; I Went Shopping For Robert De Niro, a 29 minute short film, in honour of his Oscar Nominated Silver Linings Playbook co star. He has also produced the film under his banner Actor Prepares Mumbai, named after his acting school. “I have been wanting to direct a film for the past one year. When I came back from the USA after completing Silver Lining’s Playbook, Yamini, the writer of the short film, narrated the concept to me and I thought it is a wonderful story and I wanted to tell it. I decided to direct and produce it.” says Kher who is currently riding high on the success of Special 26.

 Sanjay Mishra played a pivotal central character of Puttan Pal in Ashok Pandey produced 'Phas Gaye Re Obama' and his first child Pall was born before the release of that film. In fact he had gotten married when he had signed the film. Now he is playing Puttan Pal, a man possessed to fighting mehengai,in Ashok Pandey’s second film ‘Saare Jahaan Se Mehnga...’ releasing on 8^th March, he is expecting his second child end February. “This is so weird. Everytime his film is to release, I get a child. So many other films have come and gone without any population increase in my house, but once again Ashok’s second film is coming and so has come my second child. Now I have to think whether I should do his third film or not. Me and my wife are perfectly happy with two. Three will become too many,” laughs Sanjay Mishra. REVEL FILMS, the makers of successful film 'Phas Gaye Re Obama' now bring you “Saare Jahaan Se Mehnga...”releasing all over on 8^th March 2013. The story is a hilarious and satirical take on Mehngai (inflation) through a middle class family from a small North Indian City. The family, crushed under the burden of Mehngai tries to deal with it through an ingenious idea, not realizing the problems they would get tangled into as a result of this idea. It is a comical journey of this family battling these issues.

The ensemble star cast of the film includes artistes like Sanjay Mishra, Vishwa Mohan Badola, Zakir Hussain, Pragati, Sitaram Panchal, Ranjan Chhabra, Disha, Paritosh Sand and Pramod Pathak.

Produced by Ashok Pandey and Directed by Anshul Sharma, the story is written by Rupesh Thapliyal & Vijay Manral while DOP of the film is Fasahat Khan. पिछले दिनों तीसरा मोयेथाई राष्ट्रीय चैम्पियनशिप स्पोर्ट्स काम्प्लेक्स कांदिवली, मुंबई में सम्पन्न हुआ. इस अवसर पर लोकप्रिय गायक कैलाश खेर, सोनल सहगल, रजनीश दुग्गलऔर नरेश कामथ आदि भी उपस्थित थे .

महाराष्ट्र की टीम 6 स्वर्ण, 12 रजत और 5 कांस्य पदकोंके साथ विजेता घोषित हुई. इस प्रतियोगिता में कुल 12 टीमों ने हिस्सा लिया था. मोयेथाई के विश्व चैंपियन बाला शेट्टी भी इस अवसर पर उपस्थित थे और सभीखिलाड़ियों की होंसला आफजाईकर रहे थे ।

Sunny Leone denies rape statement

Actress Sunny Leone has denied making any statement on rape on her twitter account. A section of the online media was abuzz with the news that Sunny had tweeted that “Rape is surprise sex.”

But then that was only after one, Kamaal Rashid Khan had mentioned on his twitter timeline that Sunny had said something to this effect. Kamaal Khan tweeted the above on January 31, when Sunny was busy filming ‘Ragini MMS-2’ in Mumbai.

Some sections of the online media, in an urge to jump the gun, did not verify the same, and ran the news that Sunny had deleted the tweet after putting it up.

“In normal cases, I would have ignored this man’s tweet. But it became an issue and I am not insensitive. Being a woman, I am not one to make a loose comment on rape. At a time when the country is in the aftermath of what happened in New Delhi, it is disgusting for someone to make a joke out of this. I strongly condemn the man’s incorrect and insensitive statement and his false accusation of me having made a callous remark like that,” says Sunny, who has sent a written complaint to the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell of the Mumbai Police, urging action.

The actress was earlier approached for a role by Kamaal Rashid Khan and she had refused the same. “I was informed by my manager and husband that this man had earlier offered me a film. We had refused. Maybe this is his way of getting back at us,” remarks Leone.
