Vishwas Brings Back Pakeezah Opulence In Rajjo

कंगना रनावत की फिल्म रज्जो आपकी आँखों को बड़ा आराम देगी क्यूंकि निर्देशक विश्वास पाटिल फिल्म बनाने में कोई भी कसर नहीं छोड़ रहे हैं . फिल्म के लिए उन्होंने चार चार सेट लगवाया बोरीवली में जिसकी कीमत लगभग ५ करोर की है .फिल्म को बना रहे हैं फोर पिलर फिल्मस .

इस फिल्म में कंगना मुजरेवाली का किरदार निभा रहीं हैं . फिल्म में सेट पाकीज़ा फिल्म के बाद उसको ध्यान में रखकर लगाया गया है . फिल्म के कैमरामैन विनोद प्रधान ने अपनी फिल्म देवदास से भी ज्यादा लाईट का इस्तेमाल इस फिल्म में किया है .

फिल्म के सेट को बनाने के पहले अतुल तिवारी पाकिस्तान गए और लाहौर के हिरा मंडी को देखा फिर यहाँ आकर सेट लगवाया गया . फिल्म में महेश मंजेरेकर,प्रकाश राज और जया प्रदा जैसे कलाकार भी हैं .

फिल्म का संगीत दिया है उत्तम ने और गीत लिखे है समीर और देव कोहली ने .

Going by the reports on the magnanimity at which it is being shot, Kangna Ranaut’s forthcoming film

Rajjo is surely going to be a feast to the eyes. It is learnt that renowned author turned filmmaker

Vishwas Patil is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the film attains a realistic look and for that he

is going to all lengths. So much so that the Four Pillar Films who have produced the film have actually spent a staggering amount to recreate the red light area of Grant Road in Borivali.

The hard-hitting musical film Rajjo that is based on the issue of the mujra houses that are dying a slow

death in today's times will see the Sahitya Academy Award winner Vishwas Patil shoot it at the scale as

opulent as that of the cult 1972 musical romantic drama Pakeezah. It’s only after Pakeezah that one

has actually lavishly recreated an extensive red light area in a feature film and if the reports are to be

believed, producers Four Pillar Films have spent a whopping 5crores on the sets alone! To accentuate

each and every contour of the beautiful set, Vishwas Patil has roped in acclaimed cinematographer Vinod

Pradhan who for the first time after Devdas has used extensive lightings for the sets.

Talking about the backdrop of the film Vishwas said, “We want to give a very realistic look to our film for

which we are doing all our research. The writer of the film Atul Tiwari actually visited the bylanes of Hira

Mandi in Lahore, Pakistan to aide us in building the sets of the places where mujra used to be performed

in the yesteryears and we also roped in Munish Sappal (the set designer of Rab Ne Banadi Jodi,Paheli) for

creating the sets.”

Produced by Four Pillars Films, Rajjo will also see Mahesh Manjrekar and Prakash Raj playing roles like

never before. The musical will have compositions of renowned music composer Uttam Singh and lyrics by

Sameer and Dev Kohli.

 

'Diya Aur Baati Hum' celebrates Holi

Holi used to be the all popular sequence in Hindi Films. We do have so many memorable Holi songs from earlier films. But now it has been embraced by television in a big way. Shashi-Sumeet Production’s show Diya Aur Baati began the festivities with Holika Dahan to kill all evil. “It is so much of fun, especially with people you are spending so much of time. They are like an extended real family. Anyways, I do love to play with colours,” commented Dipika Singh.

Adds Sumeet Mittal, “films are now down playing such an important festival. In the urban setups of the storyline, they don’t have space for Holi or Diwali. But for television, where we are so close to reality, it adds so much of connectivity for the viewer. This is real India.”

The reason of her euphoria is her entry into finals in the popular Dance Reality show “Nach Baliye”. Actor celebrated the news by distributing sweets on the sets of `Diya Aur Baati Hum’. “I am so very happy and excited,” she said.

Interestingly, Gurmeet Choudhary, the `Punaravivah’ star who won `Zalak Dikhala Ja’ is also a part of the same production house that produces Diya aur Baati. Shashi Sumeet Productions seems to be a lucky mascot for its actors with now Neelu reaching the finals in another popular dance reality show. Understandably excited about the opportunity, Neelu must be wondering if Gurmeet’s luck would rub on to her! Not to forget, the sheer number of well-wishers from her serial unit by her side, Neelu and her husband just might win the coveted title! “We are so happy. Although when the actors participate in another show, it is very difficult for us to accommodate the timing, especially since they are central characters.
