विद्युत देंगे महिलाओं को आत्मरक्षा की ट्रेनिंग

औरतों के ऊपर हो रहे अत्याचार को लेकर हर तरफ सनसनी मची हुई है। महिलाओं के प्रति हो रहे जुल्म को लेकर सभी काफी संवेदनशील हो गए हैं। अभिनेता और मार्शियल आर्ट्स के विशेषज्ञ विद्युत जामवाल भी अपनी ओर से इस मुद्दे पर समाज के लिए कुछ करने की इच्छा रखते हैं। वो कॉलेज जाने वाली लड़कियों और नौकरी करने वाली महिलाओं के लिए आत्मरक्षा पर एक वर्कशॉप करने योजना बना रहे हैं।

विद्युत के एक करीबी सूत्र ने बताया "He has designed an entire module. These include simple techniques, which when mastered, can help women counter any physical attack. One only needs practice to effectively put these techniques to use.” 

विद्युत ने अपने फिल्म के निर्माताओं से भी अनुरोध किया है कि वो कमांडो के सोशल मीडिया पेज के ज़रिये इस वर्कशॉप को प्रमोट करें ताकि ज्यादा से ज्यादा महिलाओं की मदद हो सके। सूत्र ने कहा "He will organise the workshop in various cities including Mumbai. Bandra and Andheri. The details are currently being worked out,”

विपुल शाह जो कि कमांडो के निर्माता हैं उन्होंने इस बात की पुष्टि करते हुए कहा “Vidyut has been planning this and working on the module for quite some time. We would love to support his cause. We will go to various cities and conduct this workshop.”

THE WEINSTEIN COMPANY ACQUIRES U.S. DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS TO YRF ENTERTAINMENT’S –“GRACE OF MONACO”

The Weinstein Company (TWC) officially announced today their acquisition of the U.S. distribution rights to the upcoming GRACE OF MONACO, produced by YRF Entertainment’s Uday Chopra. The film is directed by Olivier Dahan (LA VIE EN ROSE) with a screenplay by Arash Amel. Pierre-Ange le Pogam of Stone Angels and Arash Amel also produced.

GRACE OF MONACO is set to have a December 27th limited release based on the model the company used for the Academy Award® winning IRON LADY.

Commenting on the deal, Dahan said: "It has been a wonderful experience to be working with Nicole, Tim, Frank, and the whole group. I am very happy now to share the experience with Monsieur Weinstein and the whole team at TWC. This is exciting."

“More than thirty years after her death, Grace Kelly’s story continues to be one of insurmountable allure and we are so happy Olivier Dahan has brought it new life,” commented TWC Co-Chairman Harvey Weinstein. “As always, Nicole Kidman’s commanding performance is the perfect portrait of a woman who was not only royalty, but who also remains a legend of the silver screen and fashion icon.”

GRACE OF MONACO stars Academy Award® winner Nicole Kidman (RABBIT HOLE, THE HOURS, MOULIN ROUGE!) in the lead role as Grace Kelly and Tim Roth (ARBITRAGE, PULP FICTION, RESEVOIR DOGS) as her husband, Prince Rainier III. The film also features Frank Langella, Paz Vega, Parker Posey, Milo Ventimiglia, and Derek Jacobi in supporting roles.

The movie tells the story of efforts by the late Princess Grace of Monaco (the former Grace Kelly, played by Nicole Kidman) to make peace between her adopted country and France. Grace, just 33 years old, and having just given up an acting career to become Monaco’s First Lady, maneuvered through a political minefield to resolve the situation, as detailed in the film.

The project is the latest movie by YRF Entertainment, a Beverly Hills-based production and financing company that is a subsidiary of Indian studio Yash Raj Films, to develop, finance, and produce English language films for the U.S. and global market.

The deal was negotiated in Los Angeles by David Glasser and Michal Steinberg for The Weinstein Company with CAA and Le Pogam on behalf of the filmmakers.

Waah Waah Kyaa Baat Hai celebrates 50th episode with Moorkhta Special

Asit Kumarr Modi produced haasya kavita weekend show Waah Waah Kyaa Baat Hai celebrated its 50^th episode with a special dedication to ‘Moorkhta’. Neha Mehta & Shailseh Lodha cut a cake with guests. Poetry sung were full of foolish jokes and anecdotes. It boasted of poets like Sharif Bharti, Tuk Tuk Sangeeta Saral, Ved Prakash, Rajesh Raj, Pawan Dixit and Narayan Nidar while Pandit Naman from Delhi was the Chhupa Rustom. Sunil Pal was Sammanit Kavi & Celeb Guest who entertained everybody with his riotous poetry. Few lines from Sunil Pal’s recital are –

"Ek bauhat pareshaan dost hai mera, jinse humne poocha –

"Maa kaisi hai?" = "Beemaar hai!"

"Baap?" = "Paagal ho gaya hai"

Comments the producer Asit Kumarr Modi on the concept of the show, “Today there is no platform to promote lyricists and poets. Writing and poetry are not given their due importance. Through this show we are trying to revive the interest in poetry & lyrics both”. Their other serial `Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has completed more than 1000 episodes.

Anchored by Shailesh Lodha & Neha K. Mehta, ‘Waah Waah Kyaa Baat Hai’is a humorous hourly weekend show. The concept of the show is loosely based on the old tradition of `Haasya Kavi Sammelan’. Produced under the banner of `Neela Telefilms’ by Asit Kumarr Modi, the show is telecast every Saturday & Sunday at 10 Pm on SAB TV.

The program showcases many established poets tickling the funny bone of the viewers. Every week there is a theme such as Women, Children, Imagination, relationship, marriage to which participating poets base their creations. Another interesting segment is ‘Chhupa Rustom’ where unknown poets get to showcase their talents. But, the highlight of the show is the section that provides a platform for emerging poets called ‘Aam aadmi ki kavitayein’.
