The trailer of Eros International’s Raanjhanaa directed by Aanand L Rai viralled a few days ago only to receive a whopping 2 million views in a mere 4 days, making it the most popular trailer this year.
Surpassing the views achieved by other trailers this year in a record breaking 4 days,the trailer of Raanjhanaa apart from trending on a popular microblogging site on the day of its release ,also received rave reviews from industrywallas,with the ingredients of a complete entertainer replete with endearing characters essayed by Dhanush,Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol and music by the celebrated A.R Rahman.

ACTRESS TENA DESSAE GETS BURNT ON THE SETS OF FILM ‘DUSSEHRA’

 

29^th April 2013, Mumbai: Actress Tena Dessae along with Neil Nitin Mukesh and director cum actor Manish Vatsalya, were shooting one of their climax scenes for action- thriller film, DUSSEHRA when during a scene which involved them running through fire at the S.P.’s bungalow, Tena Dessae ended up getting seriously burnt on her back.

Tena was immediately rushed to the hospital where the doctors have advised her complete bed rest. She will have to take a break from shooting for a week or so as she is unable to even wear her costumes due to the severity of the burns. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tena Dessae, Director Manish Vatsalya along with the rest of the crew is currently in Pune shooting the action sequences for the film.

Director Manish Vatsalya comments, “It is very unfortunate that Tena got injured on the sets. All our prayers are with her and we wish her a speedy recovery. As of right now, all she needs is rest.”

Neil Nitin Mukesh who is still shaken by this ordeal comments, “I’m glad Tena is safe. It was really scary for a minute. There was utter panic all around with people running hay wire. Luckily the fire was immediately extinguished and Tena was rushed to the hospital. I met her and she seems to be doing better. I’m hopeful that she should be back on the sets in no time.”

The film stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tena Dessae, Pooja Welling, Govind Naamdev, Ashwini Kalsekar, Murli Sharma, Shubhangi Gokhale, Pankaj Jha, Sharat Saxena etc. Director Manish Vatsalya also plays an important role in the film.

DUSSEHRA is a political action thriller based on a true story of crime and politic which evolves from the backdrop of a politically destabilized state, places which symbolizes politician mafia network, a place of heinous crimes, cunning politicians, reckless criminals, the film “DUSSEHRA“ is dedicated to bureaucrats of India. TWO TIME LIMCA- BOOK OF RECORD HOLDER PARASMANI ALL SET TO CREATE A NEW RECORD OF NON- STOP SINGING

 

The young multi-instrumentalist and holder of two Limca Book of World Records, Paras Mani Choudhary is set to create another national record by breaking the current record of non-stop vocal recital of 135 hours.   

Paras Mani started his record breaking singing spree on 25 April at 8:15 A.M. in Purboshree Mahila Samiti Hall, Chittranjan Park,New Delhi. Mr. B.K. Saxena , President of G – Block, neighbouring Chittranjan park and Mr. Pradeep Rana President of RWA , Sec. 55 Faridabad inaugurated  the program by enlightening the Sai jyoti. 

Parasmani started his record breaking journey with Sarasvati Vandana. The non-stop vocal recital is being organized as per Limca Book of Record's directives. Many Sai Devotees and music lovers witnessed this historical moment of ceaseless non-stop vocal recital. According to Limca Book of Records, the most recent record of ceaseless singing is 135 hour but Paras Mani would create a new record by singing for 144 hour ceaselessly.

Parasmani stated that, “People do hard work for money but in my case it’s all about making record. I am working hard for months, then playing an instrument or singing for a few days continuously, there is no monetary benefit behind it, even after making record; I end up spending lots of money. This time I am spending   1, 25,000 for venue, food and other facilities for people who will accompany me.” 

Paras has previously set records certified by the Limca Book of Records for  his non-stop SITAR recital for  over 92.35 hours  in 2009 and also for non-stop VIOLIN recital for 50 hours in 2011.

Raanjhanaa star Dhanush wins everyone over

 

After Kolaveri Di, Dhanush is in the limelight yet again essaying the role of a Benarasi lad in Eros International’s Raanjhanaa directed by Aanand L Rai.Sources say, “Benaras is a corner of the country where Dhanush has never been to before, yet he managed to deliver an outstanding performance of a stereotypical benarasi boy".

And while the trailer of the film that viralled out 2 days ago has gone on to become one of the most popular trailers this year ,striking a chord across a wide spectrum of the audience, the actor who is currently shooting remains unfazed.

Talking about his association with film and his role says Dhanush, "Aanand Rai (director) did not choose me for Kolaveri Di, but for my National Award-winning film Aadukalam. But frankly speaking, I did not have to go through any rigid preparation for the role.” 

Talking further about the art of learning the perfect delivery for dialogues such as "Girlfriend na sahi... feel hi dede!", Dhanush said, “Sonam and I met on the set for the first time. Given that I am not well versed with Hindi, she helped me understand so many things during the shoot. It must have been so difficult for her to act with me,” Dhanush insists he dubbed for all his lines. “It was tough but the writer Hemanshu and editor Hemal guided me all the through the pauses and punches.”
