बर्मिंघम में मिला हार्ड कौर को अवार्ड

अब वो दिन गए जब भारतीय अभिनेता - अभिनेत्रियों व गायक - गायिका को उनके काम के लिए केवल भारत में ही सराहा जाता था. विदेशों में भी उनके काम को पसंद किया जाता है और उन्हें अवार्ड भी दिया जाता है. ऐसा ही कुछ हुआ हार्ड कौर के साथ जब पिछले दिनों गीत -संगीत में उनके योगदान के लिए बर्मिंघम में अवार्ड मिला. यह अवार्ड उन्हें बॉलीवुड के १०० साल पूरा होने पर मिला है. बर्मिंघम में आयोजित हुए ''बॉलीवुड १०० इन बर्मिंघम'' नाम के इस समारोह में जब उन्हें यह अवार्ड मिला तो वो बहुत ही खुश हुई क्योंकि बॉलीवुड के लिए यह अवार्ड उन्हें इंडिया से बाहर मिला है. 

इस अवार्ड समारोह में डॉ वीरेंदर पॉल (डिप्टी हाई कमिश्नर ऑफ़ इंडिया)और काउंसिलिंग लीडर सर अल्बर्ट बोर भी उपस्थित थे. 

Ram Charan follows Father Chiranjeevi’s footsteps!!

Ram Charan who is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the high octane action fiesta Zanjeer 2.0, has left no stone unturned to make his father proud!!

Going back in time in 1990, the film Pratibhandh launched the Telugu heartthrob Chiranjeevi in Bollywood, as a hard nose, honest cop!!
Post 23 Years in 2013 we will see none other than Ram Charan essaying the role of an honest police officer (just like what his father did) who battles his way to eliminate the deadly cartels of Oil Mafia (Prakash Raj) and protects the eye witness (Priyanka Chopra) of a murder in the city.

Well, just like how Pratibandh cemented Chiranjeevi’s position in B-town, and with Zanjeer 2.0 coming up we are sure it would mark a successful debut for this young & dynamic actor!!

Along with Ram Charan, Apoorva Lakhia’s tour de force Zanjeer stars an elite ensemble cast of Priyanka Chopra, Prakash Raj, Mahie Gill , Atul Kulkarni and Sanjay Dutt!!

Wave Cinemas bags another success with D-Day

The Wave Group in the last 18 months is only growing from strength to strength, after the success of several blockbusters including Murder, Ready, Kahaani, OMG! and Chashme Baddoor , Wave Cinemas bags yet another success with D-Day directed by Nikhil Advani that went on to create a splash at the box office. Not to mention, the rave reviews it garnered from critics and the industry alike.

The film had the cash registers ringing this weekend, collecting a figure to the tune of approximately 13 crores.

Ram Charan and Apoorva Lakhia to seek permission to meet Sanjay Dutt !!

Sanjay Dutt, who will next be seen in Apoorva Lakhia’s Zanjeer is essaying the role of Sher Khan, which was earlier played by the legendary Pran Sahab!!

We hear that, Sanjay Dutt who is currently in Yervada jail serving his sentence will soon have new visitors.The actor is not allowed to meet any one else except people from his family. 

However, if anyone else other than the family wants to meet Sanjay Dutt than they need to seek prior permission from the court.

We hear that director Apoorva Lakhia and Ram Charan want to meet Sanju Dutt  before the release of the film  as they have worked together for Zanjeer & have a very good bonding with each other!

Sony Music Stands Tall at the Filmfare Awards (South)

 Eega, 3 & Kumki bagged multiple awards for their phenomenal music & story ~

July 2013: Various songs under Sony Music’s catalogue have created waves throughout the year 2012. The songs have not just topped almost all the best charts but have also won accolades at the prestigious Filmfare Awards South 2013. Ranging across Tamil & Telegu, the movies Eega, 3, Kumki, Vazhakku Enn 18/9, OKOK to name a few, associated with Sony Music, were appreciated at the awards function with as many as 17 awards across categories.

Eega lead the Filmfare Awards by bagging a total of 5 awards. The film picked up trophies for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor (Female), Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male), Best VFX. The best music under the Tamil category was crowned to D Imman for Kumki. The best lyrics were given to Anantha Shreeram (Yedhi yedhi) (Yeto Vellipoindhi Manasu) (Tamil) and Yugabarathy (Solithaley) (Kumki) (Tamil). The viral sensation Kolaveri Di continues to gather success with Dhanush receiving the Best Playback Singer (Male) and NSK Ramya receiving the Best Playback Singer (Female) for Neethane En Ponvasantham.
