BOSS Teaser To Hit The Screens On Aug 15

The most eagerly awaited action comedy of the year, BOSS, is all set to start a new trend. How many times have we heard about a teaser that announces the launch of the trailer of a film? And how many times have we seen a teaser that’s already become the big buzz in Bollywood days before it has hit the screens?

BOSS, the upcoming action comedy starring Megastar Akshay Kumar, has taken a leap of faith with the promotion of this film. Two days after private screenings of the teaser and it’s already become the latest rage.

The teaser of BOSS will be showcased theatrically with Once Upon a time in Mumbai Dobaara, which releases on 15^th August. The theatrical trailer will be released with a lot of fanfare on the 27^th of August.

Producer Ashwin Varde says, “This is the first time something like this is being done in our industry and we are all excited about it. The idea is to build up anticipation for the film, which hits the screens on October 16. We’re all humbled with the exceptional response to the teaser itself. It gives us greater motivation to deliver to the best of our abilities.”

BOSS features Akshay Kumar in the title role. The film also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Shiv Pandit, Aditi Rao Hydari, Johnny Lever and Danny Denzongpa.

BOSS is produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Cape Of Good Films and Ashwin Varde 

Productions and is directed by Anthony D'souza. It is all set to release this October!

Lesle Lewis enthralled the audience at IIMUN opening ceremony

 

Singer-performer-composer and guitarist par excellence Lesle Lewis, enthralled the audiences with his captivating performance at the opening ceremony of the second edition of the Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN). The event was held at Sophia Bhabha Auditorium of Sophia College at Breach Candy.  

Lesle Lewis’ performance included a wide variety of songs like his own rock version of Jana Gana Mana, Dum Maro Dum, Mere Naina Sawana Bhado, Krishna Nee Begane Baro conveying the message of peace; songs from his own album Tanha Sa Hoon and many others. The audience mostly included students from schools and colleges. 

Lesle donned a new hat as the official mascot of Indian International Model United Nations recently. 

Along with celebrity guests such as Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Aaditya Thackeray, Cyrus Broacha, Suresh Menon, Nandish Sandhu, Deven Bhojani et al, the IIMUN President Rishabh Shah and the Director trio Hriday Bhatia, Hardik Jain, Charmi Mehta were present at the event.

A little about IIMUN for information: 

IIMUN is a youth conference run completely by the youth. It aims to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy et al. The organizing team of the Indian International Model United Nations comprises of 200 students from different colleges coming together to work on this common platform. All the members lie in the age group of 16-20 and work at different levels of hierarchy. IIMUN also has similar parallel teams in different cities like Pune, Hyderabad etc.
