FIRST LOOK OF HORROR STORY

Vikram Bhatt, who had kept a low profile on his directorial front, is now all set with his next release Horror story, Directed by Ayush Raina, who has previously directed Bombay High (one of the short films in Mumbai Cutting).

The Story revolves around seven youngsters who challenge each other to spend the night at the infamous hotel in the heart of the city; little did they know that this will turn out to be the most horrendous night of their life, rather, the last night of their life.

Besides television actor Karan Kundra, who is making his Bollywood debut with this film, the film stars fresh faces like Ravish Desai, Hasan Zaidi, Nishant Malkani, Sheetal Singh, Aparna Bajpai, Radhika Menon and Nandini Vaid.

Horror Story will hit the screens on September 13, 2013.

Kainaat Arora’s transformation from an Ugly Betty to a Hot Babe!!!

Bollywood beauty Kainaat Arora who is best remembered for her item song Aila Re Aila from Khatta Meetha with Akshay Kumar will next be seen in Indra Kumar’s ‘Grand Masti’ opposite Vivek Oberoi!

This would be Kainaath’s first stepping stone in Bollywood with a full fledged role and yes, she is quite excited about it!

Speaking about her role, Kainaat said, “My role is of a nerdy girl, and a similar look to that of Ugly Betty who then turns into a hot babe and then have an extra-marital affair!! I am paired opposite Vivek in the film and had a lot of fun shooting with him! Vivek has become a great friend now and more than that, he’s a wonderful human being who is very supportive. Not even once did I feel that this is my first film,” says Kainaat.

Apart from Vivek becoming her good friend Kainaat has also become good friends with Priyanka who is Vivek’s wife and they often bonded on the sets! When quizzed about her bonding with Priyanka,  she said, “Yes Priyanka is so sweet, its ironical that I am having an extra marital affair with Vivek in the film but eventually in real life we bonded like never before! she laughed!

The actress is also all praise for the director Indra Kumar. “He is a very nice person and he commands respect in this industry,”adds Kainaat who has high hopes for the movie. “Masti was a hit in 2004 so I am glad to be working for the sequel. It is a great way to begin my career with, she concludes!

Produced by Maruti Pictures and Directed by Indra Kumar, Grand Masti is all set to hit the screens on 13^th Sept, 2013!!

The two sides of Zanjeer- Apoorva Lakhia shot Zanjeer in Hindi and Thoofan in Telugu simultaneously!!

We all know that Apoorva Lakhia’s much anticipated action fiesta ‘Zanjeer’ also has a telugu version ‘Thoofan’ which will release along with Zanjeer on 6^th September, 2013 in South!!

But now we hear that Apoorva Lakhia shot both the films Zanjeer and Thoofan simultaneously!!

Along with Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt is playing the role of Pran in Zanjeer while Srihari is playing Pran’s role in Thoofan.

So Sanjay Dutt and Srihari both would shoot on the same day with Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra.

A source close to the team said, “Sanjay sir and Srihari both would come on the same day for the shoot but their call time was different. Apoorva would 1^st shoot with Sanjay sir and rest of the cast. After the scene was over, Sanjay sir would go back and Srihari would come on the sets and enact the same scene with the cast. So 1st we all used to have the scripts in Hindi and then later scripts changed to telugu. We had scripts written in Hindi, Telugu and English and it needed a lot of planning and coordination as both the films scenes had to be shot on 1 day. Sometimes it did get confusing but since Apoorva knew what exactly he wanted, it helped in speeding up the project.”

Well, with all this hard work this is surely an electrifying project to look out for!!

BOSS Teaser To Hit The Screens On Aug 15

The most eagerly awaited action comedy of the year, BOSS, is all set to start a new trend. How many times have we heard about a teaser that announces the launch of the trailer of a film? And how many times have we seen a teaser that’s already become the big buzz in Bollywood days before it has hit the screens?

BOSS, the upcoming action comedy starring Megastar Akshay Kumar, has taken a leap of faith with the promotion of this film. Two days after private screenings of the teaser and it’s already become the latest rage.

The teaser of BOSS will be showcased theatrically with Once Upon a time in Mumbai Dobaara, which releases on 15^th August. The theatrical trailer will be released with a lot of fanfare on the 27^th of August.

Producer Ashwin Varde says, “This is the first time something like this is being done in our industry and we are all excited about it. The idea is to build up anticipation for the film, which hits the screens on October 16. We’re all humbled with the exceptional response to the teaser itself. It gives us greater motivation to deliver to the best of our abilities.”

BOSS features Akshay Kumar in the title role. The film also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Shiv Pandit, Aditi Rao Hydari, Johnny Lever and Danny Denzongpa.

BOSS is produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, Cape Of Good Films and Ashwin Varde 

Productions and is directed by Anthony D'souza. It is all set to release this October!

Lesle Lewis enthralled the audience at IIMUN opening ceremony

 

Singer-performer-composer and guitarist par excellence Lesle Lewis, enthralled the audiences with his captivating performance at the opening ceremony of the second edition of the Indian International Model United Nations (IIMUN). The event was held at Sophia Bhabha Auditorium of Sophia College at Breach Candy.  

Lesle Lewis’ performance included a wide variety of songs like his own rock version of Jana Gana Mana, Dum Maro Dum, Mere Naina Sawana Bhado, Krishna Nee Begane Baro conveying the message of peace; songs from his own album Tanha Sa Hoon and many others. The audience mostly included students from schools and colleges. 

Lesle donned a new hat as the official mascot of Indian International Model United Nations recently. 

Along with celebrity guests such as Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Aaditya Thackeray, Cyrus Broacha, Suresh Menon, Nandish Sandhu, Deven Bhojani et al, the IIMUN President Rishabh Shah and the Director trio Hriday Bhatia, Hardik Jain, Charmi Mehta were present at the event.

A little about IIMUN for information: 

IIMUN is a youth conference run completely by the youth. It aims to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy et al. The organizing team of the Indian International Model United Nations comprises of 200 students from different colleges coming together to work on this common platform. All the members lie in the age group of 16-20 and work at different levels of hierarchy. IIMUN also has similar parallel teams in different cities like Pune, Hyderabad etc.
