Aditya son of veteran singer Udit Narayan,will soon find his name on the music album of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Ram Leela - as the director/producer has given him the opportunity to croon to a song in the film.

Aditya Narayan who has been an Assistant director to Bhansali for the last 2 years, was finally given the chance to sing in the ambitious project as the director was taken by his voice ,which in his opinion perfectly suited a folk song.

Confirming the news says Bhansali's spokesperson, " Sanjay Leela Bhansali was impressed with Aditya’s work and he likes to encourage new talent. He thinks Aditya has done a wonderful job.” 

The trailer of the romantic-drama was recently launched only to be received with an unprecedented response , making it the fastest trailer to cross the 3 million mark.

Sangeeta Ghosh on a learning spree

Unlike her other roles in the past, Sangeeta Ghosh, as a self-made independent woman is seen vrooming around in a jeep on Sony TV's Jee Le Zara. But looking at the confidence with which she drives around on screen, no would say that she's new to it. "I know how to drive, but I am not that good at it. Personally, I hate driving! So for this show, I had my driver help me polish my driving skills. It took me two days to take control over the vehicle," says the actress. She has now begun enjoying it and often takes her jeep for a spin on the sets. "Whenever I get free time, I catch someone from the sets and drive around the shooting area." Meanwhile, Ghosh is also brushing up her Marathi language while shooting the show. Since she's a fan of the veteran Marathi actress Sulbha Deshpande, who plays her aaji (grandmother) on the show, Ghosh doesn't leave a chance to talk to her in Marathi. "Since I am from Mumbai, I know to speak Marathi, but not that fluently. So I make it a point to chat and talk with Sulbhaji in Marathi, I get to learn a lot of new words from her," says Ghosh.

Raafi Malik –the male lead in Sony Tv’s Desh Ki Beti Nandini

The team of soon-to-be-aired daily soap Desh Ki Beti Nandini was in Bhopal for a week-long shooting schedule. After Indore's Paridhi Sharma bagged the lead role in a costume drama, the latest news from the state is that Bhopal-born Rafi Malik has been chosen to play the lead in the soon-to-be-aired political drama Desh Ki Beti Nandini. Earlier, actor Ravi Dubey was being touted as the central character of the show. But our source from the show confirmed, "We finalised Rafi for the lead role as we were looking for a fresh face. The character of Rajveer Raghuvanshi (Rafi's character) belongs to a royal family and has that sophisticated air about him. Rafi suited the character perfectly as he is from Bhopal aur usmein woh nawaabon wala tashan hai." An alumnus of the Bhopal School Of Social Sciences, Rafi was also among the finalists in Gladrags MegaModel Hunt in 2011. Talking about his first break, Rafi said, "I started my career as a model and I'm elated with this break. The makers were looking for a new face, and I got lucky. I was also offered a role in Mahabharat, but this interested me more as I'm playing the lead. And it's a happy coincidence for me. I'm starting my acting career shooting in my hometown. I couldn't have asked for more." The team of the show, including Rafi, was in Bhopal for a week-long shooting schedule, which included the city's malls, lakes and Shahpura's Rainbow Treat. While the show is Delhi-based, the makers preferred to shoot in Bhopal as they found the weather of MP more pleasant. Likewise, Rainbow Treat was converted into Delhi's Paranthe Wali Galli. "The show is based in Delhi, but it becomes very difficult to shoot there outdoors

because of the sultry weather. So, we've come here. Bhopal is a shooting-friendly city. In the entire schedule, we never faced any problem and things went off very smoothly," one of the team members said. Actress Keerti Nagpure, who is playing Nandini, told us, "I am playing a girl-next-door in the show, who raises her voice against atrocities. In reality, I'm a bit reserved. So, doing this role is challenging and I'm working hard on my character." About her Bhopal sojourn, she added, "I loved shooting in Bhopal. The weather is so pleasant. People are also so friendly. I guess, they are used to seeing film shoots. So, they don't crowd around you or disrupt your work." Actor Shahab Khan, who was last seen in Pratigya, was impressed with the city's wide roads. "We are so used to seeing Mumbai's mad traffic that Bhopal appears to be a commuter's paradise. The roads are so clean and wide and there are so few vehicles on the roads. Dil khush ho gaya yahan aake. I hope, script mein aur scenes bhi ho jo Bhopal ko suit karein. We will get to come here again," he said.
