Queen of Thailand & IPL Chairman Rajeev Shukla Glorified the opening ceremony of 2nd Delhi international Film Festival with their Presence

 

On the occasion of opening ceremony of 2nd Delhi international Film festival, some respectable persons were present to witness the event at NDMC Convention Centre, CP, Amongst, Chief Guest Dr. Mom Luang Rajadarasri Jayankura, Queen, Kingdom of Thailand & Rajeev Shukla, IPL Chairman was present. On the event, to Hon. Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Minister of Cultural Affairs and cultural Heritage of Sri Lanka and Mrs. Aliki Koutsomitopoulou, Deputy chief of Mission, Embassy of Greece in India were the guest of honor. 

The Festival was opened with a critically acclaimed Srilankan Film "Siddhartha Gautama" of Director Saman Virman. On the ocassion of screening, Director Saman Virman, Lead actors, Gagan Malik& Aanchal Producer Naveen & NG Perera were present. The guests liked and appreciated the film.

The festival is a seven day event where 171 films from 39 countries across the world will be showcased. The festival also includes some prizes for films in categories like "Best Feature Film", Best Documentaries, Best Short films etc. Ariel Cohen's directed film "Take Mama", from Israel will be the closing film of the festival.

Royal wedding for Rajveer & Nandini

Indian Television will soon witness a grand royal wedding of Rajveer and Nandini. The wedding on Sony Entertainment Television's political saga 'Desh Ki Beti Nandini' is going to be one royal affair with ace designer Riyaz Gangji designing the wedding costumes for the gorgeous couple.

The intricately designed Lehenga made for the Raghuvanshi family’s daughter-in-law Nandini costs a whooping Rs. 75 lakhs. The Lehenga and Sherwani are the highlights as it almost took 3 months to craft them as  they have been adorned with fresh white water pearls and Zardosi. While to create the impact of cutwork, the fabric has been hand cut. The style of the Sherwani and the Lehenga is iconic and it's practically possible to find these pieces only in the museums of Jaipur. The Sherwani's are specially created to be worn while riding a horse or an Elephant. These cuts are what actual Maharajas’ and Maharanis’ used to wear during their high profile weddings.

Speaking about the costumes, Riyaz Gangji said, "This is probably one of the best works of my wife Reshma and team Libas and the result is there for everyone to see. The rich quality of these handcrafted costumes have never been seen before on Indian television screens and it will be remembered for a long time."

While for Kirti Nagpure who plays Nandini had just one thing to say, “I feel like a true rajkumari and this is definitely a dream wedding for Nandini!” and Rafi who plays Rajveer was truly mesmerized by his brides beauty and could only say, “I am speechless.”

Anurag Kashyap Helps With 'Hasee Toh Phasee' Dialogues For Rs.1!

Acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who is also the co-producer of upcoming film 'Hasee Toh Phasee', recently contributed to the dialogues of the film...that too for just Rs.1!
A sourrce attached to the film said, "Though Harsh Kulkarni is the original dialogue writer of the film, director Vinil Matthews wanted a North Indian flavour to the dialogues but they were not able to crack the concept. When Anurag heard about this, he offered to help with the dialogues. Anurag had loved the script so much, which is why he decided to volunteer."
A joint venture between Dharma Productions and Phantom Films, 'Hasee Toh Phasee' stars Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, who will be paired opposite each other for the very first time with this film.

Sidharth Malhotra announces the Hasee Toh Phasee love seat!

Keeping with the quirky theme of the cucking frazy film, Hasee Toh Phasee lead Sidharth Malhotra unveiled a special "love seat" as a fun ,interesting marketing spin that involved an enjoyable interaction with Sidharth and his female fan following at Cinemax,Andheri-W.
Sidharth who plays a sentimental guy in Dharma Productions & Phantom Films ' Hasee Toh Phasee, directed by one of the country's most celebrated ad-filmmakers Vinil Matthew, revealed the significance of the love seat and invited his female fans to join him in conversation on it.

The signature Hasee Toh Phasee "love seat" has been placed across several popular multiplexes around the city.

Says Sidharth Malhotra, "The love seat is part of a hilarious sequence in the film and when you watch it you will know what makes it so significant.  Hasee Toh Phasee is anything but conventional and so we thought of launching the love seat across various multiplexes as a fun marketing spin".

CID to solve the case the curious murder of a Rockstar

Sony Entertainment Television’s CID has been solving many of the difficult and curious cases, this week again CID team has to solve another mysterious murder.  There is a rock concert organized in a big auditorium where Rocky and his band are going to perform today. Auditorium is full of crowd and they all are cheering for the show to start. As the show gets started and Rocky starts singing, suddenly something goes wrong and Rocky is caught up in fire. He burns up and falls on the stage in front of everyone, and he dies immediately. Everyone is stunned, where the fire came at the stage and in between the show all of a sudden. CID start the investigation as they find out that Rocky was targeted and he died because of electrocution which was connected to the stage exactly where he was standing… all was planned in advance. They find out that one of his band mates Karan has done this as he was jealous of Rocky’s fame. He confesses his crime but the twist comes as cops gets to know that he is not the killer but someone else has done this… but then why Karan confesses his crime…who is the third person involved in all this.
