Indian fan spearheads worldwide petition to director Marc Webb to release a Director’s cut of The Amazing Spiderman 2!!

Adding to the hordes of the crazy ‘Spidey’ fanatics, who have gone to extreme lengths, right from travelling for days to catch the film on the big IMAX screens in major metros to duplicating the stunts, is an Indian by the name of Muhesh Spaleesh from Mumbai! The guy has initiated a worldwide petition to Director Marc Webb to release a special Director’s cut of The Amazing Spiderman 2 and show not only his vision but some of the scenes that have been rumored to have been left out!!

Sparking this petition on www.change.org, a website operated by Change.org, Inc hat provides a free petition tool for 65 million users^, the petition which needs 10,000 signatures has already received almost 3000!

Kajol graces the trailer showcase of Mighty Raju- Rio Calling

Green Gold Animation honours her with the ‘The Mighty Mom’ award

Kajol graces a fun filled event hosted by Green Gold Animation, makers of Chhota Bheem and Mighty Raju for their upcoming release, Mighty Raju- Rio Calling. The trailer of Mighty Raju Rio Calling was showcased at the event, followed by music unveiling.

The highlight of the event was a dance performance by the Mighty Raju Mascot to the music of the film which left the audience asking for more. Guest of Honour, Kajol loves Mighty Raju as her children love him too and she thoroughly enjoyed herself. Kajol also received ‘The Mighty Mom’ award from the director of Mighty Raju- Rio calling, Rajiv Chilaka and Mighty Raju himself. Kajol also unveiled the music of the film.

Brief Synopsis- Mighty Raju- Rio Calling

Mighty Raju, the four year old kid with super powers travels to Rio, Brazil as his father Swamy has been given a special assignment by the government of India. Raju’s mother, Sandhya is very happy to go there but Raju is very skeptical and feels that he will miss all his friends. Mighty Raju begins to like Rio and joins a school over there, but gets bullied by Daniel at the school and gets teased that he doesn’t know about how to play football. Raju meets Maria and befriends her. He comes to know that she is the daughter of the Don of Rio- Don Pedro.

Raju begins to experience strange phenomenon and keeps losing his super powers for short durations of time. Meanwhile, his dad is trying to solve the puzzle of banks in Rio being robbed by the means of computers. Eventually, Mighty Raju learns to play football and his school team reaches the final of the inter-school tournament. In this film all his wits and powers are put to the test in a pulse-racing face-off against nasty soccer rivals, gun-toting Mafia dons and deadly Capoeira fighters, all set out to strike him down. Will Mighty Raju emerge victorious?

Best friends turn enemies on Sony TV’s Encounter

Gear up for a thrilling ride this weekend as Encounter showcases the story of undisputed don Mahesh Murthy. The action packed episode will feature the versatile actor Mahesh Shetty and Kinshuk Mahajan in their best roles for the viewers. The local hafta collector from Sion, Mahesh Murthy’s friendship with gang member Babu Rode turns sour when the latter kills his leader. This treachery by Babu made Mahesh form his own gang and thus began a decade long rivalry between them. A year of hard work and classic police investigation by inspector Vinod More leads to his encounter.

Commenting on the experience Mahesh Shetty said, " It was a great experience shooting for Encounter. I am essaying the role of a gangster named Mahesh Murthy,who is known as the master of disguise. Due to this quality of his, I got the chance to do many characters in just one role. The director is amazing, I have seen his work in the movie Bindi bazar Inc. and he is really good. Working with Kinshuk was fun and  we got comfortable really fast and didn't feel it's my first time with him. Each one of us have given our best which will truly make the episode worth watching.

Commenting on his association with the show kinshuk Mahajan states, "I am very lucky that I got the opportunity to work for Encounter and specially to be featured in this story. This is the very first time that I am playing the role of a cop. The entire episode has been shot in a very filmy way. I have always done chocolate boy roles and for the first time I will be seen in a  rugged character which is very different. My experience of shooting for Encounter was great, specially Mahesh was really fun to work with. I am sure  this is going to be the best episode of Encounter.

The episode will also feature some of the prominent actors who will add to the drama quotient in this action packed episode.
