Inspired by Goethe’s shining work titled ‘Theory of Colours,’ Italian designer Stefano Ricci introduced a brand new line up of male clothing that is a melange of classical and eclectic pieces. Taking a cue from the many shades of the Tuscan sun coupled with the elegant colours of Florence art, the collection is a refreshing representative of the designer’s muse with distinguished quality in every piece.  Stefano Ricci blends his tasteful luxury with the most dynamic moments of the shades of day, featuring a treasure of handmade clothing ranging from bright variations of colour palettes from numerous renaissance painters that are intense, refined and enhanced by the three-dimensional expertise of the fabrics, knitwear and leathers.

बुद्धा इन ट्रैफिक जैम में पल्लवी जोशी की आवाज़ सुनो

अमजद खान की फिल्म दादा (१९७९) की अंधी बच्ची मुन्नी और राज बब्बर की अँधा युद्ध (१९८७) की अपाहिज सरोज की याद होगी।  इसी अभिनेत्री ने अगले साल प्रदर्शित नव्येन्दु घोष की फिल्म तृषाग्नि (१९८८)  में पूरी तरह से नग्न स्नान दृश्य करके तहलका मच दिया था।  इस विवादित  शोहरत के बावजूद पल्लवी जोशी बड़ी फिल्म की नायिका नहीं बन सकी।  फिल्मों कुछ छोटी बड़ी भूमिकाओं में आने के बाद उन्होंने टीवी सीरीज की ओर रुख किया। अब वह कोई २० साल बाद बॉलीवुड में वापसी कर रही हैं।   फिल्म है विवेक  अग्निहोत्री निर्देशित फिल्म बुद्धा इन ट्रैफिक जैम।  विवेक अग्निहोत्री की पत्नी हैं पल्लवी जोशी, लेकिन केवल इस लिये  उन्हें फिल्म में गाने का मौका नहीं मिला है।  पल्लवी जोशी पिछले सात सालों से संगीत पर आधारित शो कर रही हैं।  इस समय उन्हें टीवी पर लता मंगेशकर और आशा भोसले पर आधारित कल्पनिक शो मेरी आवाज़ ही पहचान है में दोनों बहनों की माँ के किरदार में देखा जा रहा है।  पोलिटिकल ड्रामा फिल्म बुद्धा इन ट्रैफिक जैम में पल्लवी जोशी ने फैज़ अहमद फैज़ की ग़ज़ल चाँद रोज़ गाई है।  इस ग़ज़ल को गाने के अपने अनुभव को साझा करती हुई पल्लवी, कहती हैं, "इस गीत में तकनीकी सपोर्ट नहीं लिया गया है।  गीत में हारमोनियम के अलावा किसी ख़ास वाद्य यन्त्र  का उपयोग नहीं किया गया।  लेकिन, इस गीत को गाने के  लिए मुझे फीस नहीं दी गई।  मुझसे मुफ्त गवाया गया।"    

Presidential Honor for Filmmaker Sandeep Modi’s ‘Best Friends Forever’

The heart-warming tale of a mother-daughter relationship – ‘Best Friends Forever’, helmed by Sandeep Modi, is creating quite a stir in the world of short films.

Sandeep even won the National Award for this educational short film, which was adjudged as the 'Best Film on Family Values' at the recently announced prestigious awards.

Talking about the film, Sandeep who is an alumni of FTII Pune and a renowned name in the advertising industry said, “Best Friends Forever is a perspective. What happens when we build our life towards a loved one, nurture her, support her and when she is ready to fly off we feel jealous and betrayed as we are not ready for the selflessness expected of us? I wanted to discover the emotional state of a mother who has given it all and is now on the brink, realizing she is no longer needed as her daughter is now ready to ‘fly solo’. Between the anger and the coming to term with this truth, are many beautiful shades of gray we don’t realize exist in mothers.  Best Friends Forever is my attempt to discover these shades that a woman overcomes, in her journey of selflessness called motherhood.”

Sandeep, who  started his career in films assisting noted film-maker likes Ram Gopal Verma (Sarkar Raj), RakeyshOmprakashMehra (Delhi 6),  and AshutoshGowariker (Khelein Hum JeeJaanSey), was last associated with the much acclaimed Sonam Kapoor starrer Neerja. Sandeep had designed, choreographed, and executed the action climax inside the airplane. He even directed the promotional music video for the film titled 'AankheinMilayengeyDarr Se'.

While ‘Best Friends Forever’ is continuing to wow the audience, Sandeep is ready with his next short film 'Vanvaas', starring legendary Piyush Mishra in the lead. The film has already travelled and played at festivals in Toronto and Dallas

GADHAPRASAD GOES ON A SPREE

Gadhaprasad who is all setto tie the knot with his lady love Markati is one happy groom. The fact that he has finally found his soulmate and will be marrying her gets him all excited and he sets out on a crazy spree of inviting everyone he meets for the wedding, irrespective of whether he knows them or not. Right from the postman of the mohalla, to the vegetable vendors, from the milkman to the maids, and to any random men on the street that he lays his eyes upon, for Gadhaprasad, all are invited to be a part How will the members of Chidiya Ghar react to this? How big will Gadhaprasad’s wedding guest list turn Sources say, “The actors are having a great time shooting on the sets for Gadhaprasad’s wedding track. It’s a fun time shooting on the sets and I hope the viewers enjoy it too “

Meet Bros changing mindsets

After delivering one party hit after the other, Meet Bros have also set their mark in romantic songs with the success of their song, ‘Ijazat’ from the film One Night Stand. The musical duo's ‘Girl I Need You’ and ‘Cham Cham’ from Baaghi were also romantic songs and have received a very positive response by the audience.

Their stint with party songs began with ‘Baby Doll’ and that became such a huge hit that it overpowered all their other songs. In fact they also got Salman Khan to sing their song ‘Hangover’, which was a romantic song from the film ‘Kick’. The year 2015 had everyone dancing to Meet Bros’ song ‘Chitiyaan Kalaaiyaan’ from the film ‘Roy’. The duo swept away all the awards for their music in ‘Roy’ (Meet Bros have won eight awards this season). 2016 showed a complete different side of their music, which as well was also accepted and loved by the audience.

Talking about the audience forming a notion of associating only party songs with Meet Bros, Harmeet from Meet Bros says, “The happiest news for us is that everyone has  realised Meet Bros are not just about party songs — like how people think Mithun makes only romantic songs. We didn’t make an effort. We got stuck with this label because Baby Doll became such a big hit.”

About gradually changing the notion, Manmeet adds, “We are melody guys. In the next 10-15 years, when people look back at your career they will say Meet Bros are the romantic song guys.”

Party Song or not, the brothers are certainly taking over the Bollywood scene with their melodious numbers one after the other. Here’s wishing the duo all the luck for their future ventures. Meet Bros will be next seen in their single with T-Series, which is soon to release!
