MARVEL’S AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON ASSEMBLES ALL SUPERHEROES TO MAKE STAR MOVIES THE ONE

THE FILM CLAIMED TOP SPOT IN THE ENGLISH MOVIES CATEGORY WITH ALL 4        AIRINGS OF THE MOVIE FEATURING IN THE WEEK’S TOP 10
This April, Star Movies showcased the television premiere of Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron breaking numerous records and making it the biggest premiere that the category has seen in the last 5 years. With the strong message of ‘Assemble All Against One’ the channel aimed to create a simple yet a hard-hitting communication campaign that was amplified across mediums including outdoor, radio, print, digital, on-ground, trade and the full strength of the Star Network. 
The campaign thought was perfectly in sync with the theme of the film where the iconic Avengers like Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and Hulk assembled to defeat the super villain Ultron. Similarly Star Movies assembled various media platforms to create a truly 360° marketing campaign. The first superhero of the campaign was the robust on-air promotion across 30 channels on the Star Network, which garnered an unrivaled reach for the premiere. Print emerged as the next superhero as it amplified the reach with front page advertisements across leading dailies in the north, west and south. Large format outdoor sites could also be seen across Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Trivandrum, Calicut, Cochin and Hyderabad.
Through their extensive marketing, the channel earned extraordinary success for the premiere with BARC data indicating that the film was the highest rated premiere in the last year. It was also the top rated program in the English Movies category with all 4 airings of the movies being featured in the prestigious top 10 movies of the week list.
Thanks to the success of the Avengers premiere, Star Movies has emerged as the leader with a whopping 32% market share.
In the last 12 months, the top three premieres (Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Guardians of the Galaxy) in the English Movie category was aired on none other than Star Movies. With the unparalleled success of Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, Star Movies continues to exceed expectations as it maintains its stance as the home to the biggest premieres in the country.

FRIDAY THE 13TH - WATCH ‘CHUDAIL STORY’

"Chudail Story" is a Hindi feature film, which is hitting the screens this Friday all over India. The slick theatrical trailers and innovative posters are already gained lots of curiosity among social media. 
The director Surya Lakkoju shares some interesting thoughts on his film. ‘Chudail’ is known as a popular female ghost in India and there are countless legends in our traditional culture like the west has Dracula, Vampire, and Boogeyman etc. The most interesting thing about these stories are if you start telling a story, another one quickly jump starts their own stories, which they have already heard or read in own experiences. In a way most of us know already the stories; so what I am offering you is a new twist in your own story.  
Smiles and shares further more; taking a cue from these fascinating stories, I am attempting to tell an intense story, that one hasn’t seen till now, in any form of Chudail franchisee films in India.
My offering is; In my film you won’t see any cliché ghostly faces, but what you can expect is highly intensified drama amongst the people who get stuck in situation with a mysterious lady.  Further the suspense will race your imagination, like a riveting thriller. Upon asking how u r expecting the reactions from viewers; experimenting a horror film in thriller way -  I am not nervous but I am curious about the reception.
Asking about cast; Preeti Soni who plays the main character mysterious lady will definitely show runner. She has got arresting looks with outstanding mind of memorising the dialogues not even missing single most word. Coming to another lead actor Amal Sehrawat who played the protagonist, he is melted like butter into the character; with his flawless subtle performance. Remaining cast I chosen through innumerable auditions and among Sunny Charls and Sorab Rajput will surely steal the show.
My producers are initially skeptical about the title “Chudail” because the word has cheap perspective. But eventually they understood what I mean, and given full support and freedom till the end. I am sincerely thankful to them.
The film is presented by Storm Motion Pictures and it is produced by Pratibha Bhosale, Sonal Goenka and Kalpesh Pansare. CHUDAIL STORY is releasing on Friday 13th May through Batra Showbiz.

Varun Dhawan, Riteish Deshmukh and Anurag Kashyap reveal their phobias on Twitter!

The makers of the spine-chilling psychological thriller of the year – Phobia, including the lead protagonist Radhika Apte and producers Eros International and Viki Rajani have come up with an edgy, quirky and innovative digital campaign to promote the movie.
While Phobia is all about Radhika’s character who suffers from Agoraphobia, to go in sync with the theme of it, the versatile actress has challenged a lot of her B-town friends to share their phobias.
From Varun Dhawan to Riteish Deshmukh, everyone is coming out in the open to talk about their phobias and the hashtag given by Radhika #MyPhobia has been trending on Twitter and social networking websites.
After Radhika shared her phobia, writing this on her Twitter handle, “So #MyPhobia is weird. It’s the fear of getting into a swimming pool located at the top of a building. What’s yours?” Varun replied, “My phobia is the fear of looking down from a great height I feel I mite fall.”
Riteish Deshmukh wrote, “Acrophobia / Petrified of heights #MyPhobia @radhika_apte – still managed to sky dive.
Sharing his phobia, Anurag Kashyap tweeted, “@radhika_apte @ErosNow my phobia is of heights.”
Phobia focuses on the central character, Mehak (played by Radhika), an artist by profession, who is trapped in her house, neither can she get out, nor stay in.
