Trailer of "Waarrior Savitri" launched with much fanfare

Bollywood has witnessed several men warriors in the past but now, make way for a woman warrior who is undoubtedly unbeatable. ‘Waarrior Savitri’ is a one woman army, ready to take on even the God of Death– Yamraaj for the love of her life! Sounds familiar? This Hindi film is a modern day adaption of the very famous Mahabharata fable of– “Satyavan & Savitri”. Niharica Raizada plays the lead role of Savitri.

The first look, trailer launch and poster launch of the film was held for the esteemed media. There was huge applause and appreciation for the unique trailer! Actor Sonu Sood had graced this occasion and was heard praising the trailer. Sonu is also acting in a martial arts film and hence found Waarrior Savitri relatable. Sonu Sood performed some action stunts for the gathered audience. Sonu was completely in favour of today's women adopting martial arts for their safety.

With Waarrior Savitri, sexy siren and British Supermodel Lucy Pinder makes her big Bollywood debut in India. Rajat Barmecha of Udaan fame plays the role of lovable Satya. Om Puri and Gulshan Grover essay pivotal roles which will be revealed soon. Upendra Maheshhwari and Bobby Kanda have produced Waarrior Savitri under the banner of Dr Bob’s Production and it will release on 22rd July 2016.  Param Gill is the writer & director of the film.

Varun Sharma refuses a film offer for his pet

Varun Sharma whose just come back from his first schedule of Rabtaa, took a break and visited his home town in Jalandar. The actor was in for quite a surprise when he got a call from a production house that wanted his pet for a role in a Punjabi film. Varun initially had his reservations and he decided not to go ahead with it. 

​​On touching base with Varun he stated got a call from one of the major production houses and they told me that they have a very interesting role for my pet dog. I was taken aback, it was difficult for me to digest it and without giving it a thought I said no. Shooting for films is a hectic task. with Lights and grilling schedules it takes a toll on our health. I got a pet being an animal lover so that I can spend sometime with him and not coz I can make money out of him." concludes Varun Sharma.

शाहरुख़ खान की नायिकाएं होंगी कैटरीना कैफ और अनुष्का शर्मा !

आनंद एल राय के निर्देशन में शाहरुख़ खान की फिल्म की दो नायिकाओं में से एक  रोल में नायिका अनुष्का शर्मा  के होने की खबर है ।   राय की फिल्म में शाहरुख़ खान एक बौने की भूमिका में हैं।  पहले इस भूमिका के लिए दीपिका पादुकोण को लगभग फाइनल कर लिया गया था।  अगर, दीपिका पादुकोण इस फिल्म को कर रही होती तो यह शाहरुख़ खान और दीपिका पादुकोण की जोड़ी की पांचवी फिल्म होती।  लेकिन, अब दीपिका पादुकोण की जगह अनुष्का शर्मा तीसरी बार शाहरुख़ खान की फिल्म की नायिका बनने जा रही हैं। अनुष्का ने अपने करियर की शुरुआत शाहरुख़ खान के साथ फिल्म रब ने बना दी जोड़ी से की थी।  चूंकि, अनुष्का शर्मा ने अब अली अब्बास ज़फर की सलमान खान के साथ फिल्म सुल्तान की शूटिंग पूरी कर ली है तो वह शाहरुख़ खान की फिल्म शुरू करने के लिए तैयार है।  यह इत्तेफ़ाक़ ही है कि सुल्तान के लिए भी पहले दीपिका पादुकोण से संपर्क किया जा रहा था।  दीपिका के नकारने पर सुल्तान की आरिफा अनुष्का शर्मा बन गई।  आनंद एल राज की दो नायिकाओं वाली इस फिल्म में दूसरी नायिका कैटरीना कैफ हैं।  कैटरीना कैफ दूसरी बार खान की नायिका बनेंगी। अनुष्का शर्मा और कैटरीना कैफ भी जब तक है जान के बाद दूसरी बार एक साथ शाहरुख़ खान की नायिका बनेंगी।   बहरहाल, बौने शाहरुख़ खान को किन दो नाज़ुक नायिकाओं का कन्धा मिलेगा, अभी इसका ऑफिशियल ऐलान होना बाकी है।
