Controversial 'Sant Valmiki' dialogue removed from 'The Legend of Michael Mishra'

Amidst the protests in Punjab, the producers of the film 'The Legend of Michael Mishra' have knocked off the controversial dialogue about 'Sant Valmiki' from the film.

This desi rom-com movie is based in Patna and stars  Arshad Warsi-Boman Irani-Kayoze Irani and the very beautiful Aditi Rao Hydari.

The producers of the film respect every religious sentiment and having seeing the rift in Punjab, they have readily agreed and removed the dialogue form the film.

Kishor Arora, producer Eyecandy films opines ,"We have a valid Censor certification and voluntarily removed the objectionable matter  as we do not wish to hurt anyone's sentiments. Its very sad that inspite of all this we are facing dificulties in exhibiting the film. Where do we go seek redressal."

'The Legend of Michael Mishra' is currently in theaters.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Next gen films Munna Michael

Nawazuddin Siddiqui joins hands with Tiger Shroff , director Sabbir Khan and producer Viki Rajani for Munna Michael.

The makers have pulled a casting coup with Nawazuddin Siddiqui coming on board. The powerhouse performer has been cast in an important role in the film.

Rumored to play a character with shades of grey but with a twist ,the actor, in his new avatar, will come to audiences as a major surprise.

This will also be the first time that Nawazuddin Siddiqui will share screen space with Tiger Shroff.

When contacted Nawazuddin Siddiqui said - I am happy to be working with the talented Sabbir Khan who has already given two big hits at the Box Office. Munna Michael is a wonderful Script and I am already a part of it. I'am looking forward to be shooting for it soon.

Says director Sabbir Khan, I have always been a huge fan of Nawaz's body of work and was looking for an opportunity to work with him. The character in the film is extremely complex and layered and i am happy to be working with Nawaz and exploring this together.

Adds producer Viki Rajani, "This particular role is tailor-made for Nawazuddin Siddiqui . We are excited to have him join the cast of Munna Michael .He has a pivotal role in the film and the scenes with Tiger and him are going to be a major treat for audiences".

The romantic musical is all set to go on floors this September and also marks the coming together of director Sabbir Khan and Tiger Shroff after 2 consecutive hits

मुग़ल ए आज़म ५ अगस्त १९६० रिलीज़ हुई।  मुग़ल ए आज़म को पूरा  होने में १६ साल लगे।  इस दौरान फिल्म की पूरी कास्ट और क्रू में बदलाव हो गया।  यहाँ तक कि फिल्म के निर्माता भी बदल गए। मुग़ल- ए - आज़म शीराज़ अली हकीम की दिमाग की उपज थी।  देश विभाजन के बाद वह पाकिस्तान चले गए।  वह जाते जाते एक पारसी व्यवसाई शपूरजी पलोनी को अपना काम सौंप गए। पलोनी को फिल्म निर्माण का कोई  अनुभव नहीं था।   वह के आसिफ की परफेक्शन के लिए लगातार जुटे रहने की आदत से इतना ऊब गए थे कि उन्होंने निर्देशक यानि के० आसिफ को ही बदल देने की सोची थी ।  शुरू में के० आसिफ के पसंदीदा हीरो चंद्रमोहन फिल्म करने वाले थे।  लेकिन, उनकी दिल का दौरा पड़ने से अकस्मात् मौत हो गयी।  चंद्रमोहन के साथ नर्गिस फिल्म में नायिका थी।  चंद्रमोहन की मृत्यु हुई तो आसिफ ने नायिका भी बदल दी।  उस समय तक नर्गिस ने दस रीलें पूरी कर दी थी।  उस समय राजकपूर और नर्गिस का रोमांस सुर्ख जो रहा था।  राजकपूर नहीं चाहते थे कि उनकी प्रेमिका उनके प्रतिद्वंद्वी के साथ फिल्म करे।  क्योंकि, उस समय तक फिल्म में चंद्रमोहन की जगह दिलीप कुमार ने ले ली थी यहाँ, एक दिलचस्प तथ्य यह है कि दिलीप कुमार ने १९४५ में मुग़ल ए आज़म का सलीम बनने की  कोशिश की थी।  लेकिन, उस समय दिलीप कुमार इतने विश्वसनीय नहीं हुए थे।  इस लिए आसिफ ने सलीम के रोल के लिए दिलीप कुमार को न कर दी। वास्तविकता तो यह है कि अनारकली की  भूमिका के लिए आसिफ की पहली पसंद वीणा थी। परन्तु कुछ आपसी मनमुटाव के बाहर हो गई। आसिफ की दूसरी बीवी निगार सुल्ताना बहार की भूमिका की थी।  निगार आसिफ की दूसरी पसंद थी।  के आसिफ ने  बहार का रोल सितारा देवी को ध्यान में रख कर  लिखाया था। सितारा देवी  आसिफ की पहली बीवी थी।  वह के आसिफ की  बतौर निर्देशक पहली फिल्म  फूल की नायिका थी।  के आसिफ ने दिलीप  कुमार की बहन अख्तर से शादी की थी।  मुग़ल ए आज़म की अनारकली  की भूमिका के लिये वैजयंतीमाला को चुना गया था।  लेकिन, बीआर चोपड़ा की फिल्म नया दौर की शूटिंग के दौरान दोनों के बीच गहरे मतभेद हो गए।  उनकी जगह मधुबाला आ गई।   हालाँकि,मधुबाला के साथ भी दिलीप कुमार का मनमुटाव था।  दिलचस्प तथ्य यह भी है कि अलग अलग समय में  अनारकली की  भूमिका के लिए सुरैया, नसीम बनु और बेगम पारा का नाम आया।  परदे पर अकबर को जीवंत कर देने वाले पृथ्वीराज कपूर भी आसिफ की पहली पसंद नहीं थे।  आसिफ इस भूमिका में सप्रू को देखना चाहते थे। युवा सलीम के किरदार में तबलावादक उस्ताद  ज़ाकिर हुसैन को लिया जाना था।  पर बाद में जलाल आगा आ गए। आसिफ को परफेक्शन पसंद था।   इसलिए, फिल्म की शूटिंग तभी शुरू हो पाती, जब आसिफ संतुष्ट हो जाते। मुग़ल ए आज़म के मशहूर शीशमहल, जिस पर अनारकली, अकबर और सलीम की मौजूदगी में जब प्यार किया तो  डरना क्या गीत फिल्माया गया था, को मोहन स्टूडियो में खड़ा करने में दो साल लग गए थे। इसके लिए फिरोजाबाद से शीशा कारीगर बुलाये गए थे।  इस गीत को आर डी माथुर ने फिल्माया था।  यह गीत कितना महँगा पड़ा होगा, इसका अंदाज़ा इसी बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि पूरी फिल्म के बजट के बराबर पैसा इस गीत पर खर्च हुआ था। फिल्म की शूटिंग १९४६ में बॉम्बे टॉकीज में शुरू हुई।  मुग़ल ए आज़म का प्रीमियर बॉम्बे के नए खुले सिंगल स्क्रीन  थिएटर मराठा मंदिर में, जिसकी दर्शक क्षमता ११ सौ सीटों की थी हुआ।  फिल्म पूरे देश में १५०० सिनेमाघरों में रिलीज़ हुई।  मराठा मंदिर में मुग़ल ए आज़म के तीन हफ़्तों के टिकट  एडवांस बुक हो गए थे।  मराठा मंदिर में यह फिल्म तीन साल तक लगातार चली। फिल्म का तमिल में डब संस्करण अकबर बुरी तरह से  असफल हुआ था।  इसलिए इसे  इंग्लिश में डब करने का इरादा छोड़ देना पड़ा।  

Shawn Mendes inspired by Taylor Swift as he continues his ‘Illuminate’ World Tour

Shawn Mendes , the ‘Treat you better’ singer is back with his latest album, Illuminate due to be released in September and is currently on a world tour to promote it. Following up his 2015 debut album and hit single "Stitches," Mendes has firmly planted himself in pop rock and has gone on to release the much awaited third single ‘Three Empty Words’ from the upcoming album, Illuminate. Shawn Mendes, who captured hearts across the globe with his heartfelt video ‘Treat You Better’, about domestic violence is now keen to spread a more positive message with his upcoming tour.

Shawn believes he has grown a lot in terms of his craft with his next studio album and compared to his debut, “Handwritten,” Mendes says this new album will take things up a notch —from the lyrics and vocals to the instrumentation and melodies”.

A large part of Shawn Mendes inspiration for his upcoming tour has come from Taylor Swift, on which he says, “The major thing I learned, aside from just the singing and production and the performance, offstage she was just so sweet and works so hard,” Mendes told The Huffington Post. “She was just doing interviews and meet and greets. It seemed like she never stopped ... It was cool to see that somebody at that level of fame and success was still working so hard to be there. It showed me that there’s no amount of success that allows you not to work hard, which is a really cool thing to learn at a young age.” 

Shawn Mendes not only plans to follow footsteps of Taylor Swift and work hard during his current tour but he is also dedicated to helping “spread joy” as part of his partnership with the Paper Mate InkJoy initiative, which encourages fans to share notes with others to help brighten theirdays.

MANOJ BAJPAYEE DISTRIBUTED 1000 PAIR OF SHOES TO UNDERPRIVILEDGED CHILDREN

Manoj Bajpayee in association with his upcoming film ‘Budhia Singh: Born to Run’ distributed 1000 pair of shoes to underprivileged children in Delhi.

Budhia Singh is an upcoming Hindi film based on the wonder boy ‘Budhia Singh’ who ran 48 marathons, when he was only five-year-old.

Bajpayee, says “it was a small attempt to help children who are not able to afford them. The shoes that we gifted to the school children is a token of appreciation which I hope will be of great help to them”

The little boy ‘Mayur’ playing the role of Budhia Singh belongs from a chawl in Pune and the production company has taken the charge of his further studies.

Manoj added “Budhia's dream was to become a marathon runner. Similarly, Mayur's dream is to become a doctor. Please help us to make this film big which will help children like Mayur make their dreams come true."

The film is scheduled to release on 5^th August.
