Shoojit Sircar's PINK has overwhelmingly evoked stirring conversations and debates across the country with its shocking trailer launched recently.

Amitabh Bachchan's explosively provocative dialogues, Taapsee Pannu's never-seen-before avatar along with her friends submerged in mysterious circumstances and various thrill elements has the audiences keenly looking forward to its September 16th release.

Shoojit's PINK is a creative collaboration of some of the most talented artistes in India, with a staggering 10 National Award winners as part of its core team!

Amitabh Bachchan commands the team with 4 National Awards to his credit (Piku, Paa, Black and Agneepath), along with Shoojit Sircar winning the National Award for Vicky Donor, Producer Ronnie Lahiri winning for Vicky Donor as well and Director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury already established as a leading light in the field of direction with 2 National Awards in his kitty as well.

Joining the above is musician Shantanu Moitra who won the National Award for Best Music Direction, Ace Cinematographer Avik Mukhopadhayay with 3 National Awards, Sound Designer Bishwadeep Chatterjee with 2 National Awards,  Sound Mixer Nihar Ranjan Samal with 2 National Awards, Re-recording Mixer Sinoy Joseph with One National Award and Sound Designer Dipankar Jojo Chaki with 2 National Awards respectively.

Shoojit Sircar speaks to us on the experience of getting on the PINK table 10 Winners who collectively have 19 National Awards amongst them!

लखनऊ की पृष्ठभूमि पर 'मजाज' की कहानी

नाज़िया और मजाज़ दोनों के परिवार बचपन में लखनऊ में एक दूसरे के पड़ोस में  रहते हैं।  मजाज़ की दोस्ती नाज़िया से हो जाती है लेकिन किन्ही कारणों से नाज़िया का  परिवार लखनऊ से बाहर चला जाता  है। ऐसे ही समय गुज़रता जाता है,  मजाज़ आगरा के कालेज में अपनी पढ़ाई कर रहे हैं वहीं नाज़िया अलीगढ़ में पढ़ाई  कर रही है। अलीगढ़ छात्रावास की लड़कियों का एक ग्रुप

ताज महल जाता है वहीं नाज़िया की मुलाक़ात मजाज़ से होती है लेकिनबचपन के दोस्त एक दूसरे को पहचान नहीं पाते। कुछ दिनों के बाद एक अखबार में कविता के साथ जब मजाज़ की तस्वीर

छपती है, जिसे देखकर नाज़िया को पता चलता है कि यह  तो वही मजाज़ है जिससे उसकी मुलाक़ात ताज महल में हुई थी। आगरा में अपनी पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद मजाज़ का अलीगढ़ के  उसी कालेज में दाखिला  होता है  जिसमें नाज़िया पढ़ती है।  दोनों की मुलाक़ात परवान चढ़ती है और बचपन की मुहब्बत शादी तक बढ़ती है दोनों  के  घरवाले भी इस रिश्ते के लिए तैयार है । बस  नाज़िया के पिता की एक शर्त होती है शादी की और वो यह कि मजाज़ की जब अच्छी नौकरी लग जायेगी तभी दोनों की शादी होगी। मजाज़ की  ऑल इंडिया रेडियो दिल्ली में एक

पत्रिका के संपादक के रूप में नौकरी लग जाती है। लेकिन मजाज़ के कुछ अलग रवैये की वजह से जल्दी ही उसकी  नौकरी छूट जाती है। नाराज़ हो कर, नाज़िया के पिता उसका निकाह एक अमीर लड़के से कर देते हैं। क्या होता है नाज़िया के निकाह के बाद ? क्या फिर कभी नाज़िया और मजाज़ मिल पाते हैं ? या मुहब्बत ऐसे ही दमतोड़ देती है या दोनों प्रेमी मिल जाते हैं ? ड्रीम

Shatrughan Sinha released music of Hemnt Praddeep’s “MMIRSA”

Veteran Actor Shatrughan Sinha released the music of Hemnt Praddeep’s upcoming romantic thriller “MMIRSA”, on 24th August 2016 at ‘Club Millenium’, along with lead actors Souryansh & Saanvi, where in almost entire team along with actors and some more distinguished guests like Shashi Ranjan, Anu Ranjan, actor Ravi Kishan, actor Samar Jai Singh, veteran producer Johny Bakshi, actress Deepshikha, well-known Ranjeet, actor Raju Pandit, singer Raja Hassan, actor Sunil Pal, actress Anushka Ranjan, singer Amit Gupta, composer Meet Brothers & Israr Ahmed were present. Entire show was compered by Aarti Nagpal.

Sunshine Music Tours and Travels is Generating big industry buzz before its release

Shailendra Singh’s Directorial Debut to release on Sept 2, 2016

Shailendra Singh has had Bollywood buzzing just before the release of his directorial venture: Sunshine Music Tours and Travels (SMTT).In what is billed to be a spectacular blend of happening music, epic travel and irresistible fun, Sunshine Music Tours and Travels (SMTT) is the first full-length feature film to be written and directed by Shailendra Singh. “It’s a really young, fresh mix of Bombay to Goa and ZindaginaMilegiDobara”, Shailendra quips, “With a funky music mix of Rang de Basanti emotions and a Sunburn beat.” The film releases in theaters on September 2nd, 2016.

Both the teaser launch and the official trailer launch of SMTT on July 25th saw massive industry support for both the film and its Writer/ Director. Mr Nana Patekar was the guest of honor for the event, and emotionally told the audience, ““After seeing the SMTT trailer, it reminded me of Ankush days. Such raw energy. I’m excited.”

KapilDev, MadhurBhandarkar and Vicky Kaushal were also on hand to say a few words. Online, industry favorite like ShahidKapoor (“Wishing Shailendra Singh the best for his directorial debut. The journey is the destination!”) andVarunDhawan (“I’m completely along for the SMTT ride!”) shared the teaser, while even RajdeepSardesai sent his congratulations to the Debut Director.Ranveer Singh texted, “Amazing trailer. Can’t wait to watch!”

The music arm of India’s leading television, media and entertainment company – Zee Music Company - has acquired the music rights to the film and launched the SMTT album in Mumbai. Industry stalwarts and superstars of the Bollywood entertainment - RohitDhawan(“Kick-ass trailer!”), Salim-Sulaiman, Vishal-Shekhar(SMTT looks fresh and exciting!”)andSajidWajid –united at the music launch to celebrate the film. The guest of honor for the evening was Farah Khan, who said, “Shailendra is a passionate man. Anything he sets his mind to, he does. All my wishes and blessings are with this movie.”

While it is his Directorial Debut, Shailendra is no stranger to the film industry. As one of Bollywood’s most prolific Producers, he has produced and released over 72 feature films and 2000 ad films in his 30 year career. He is also credited with launching the careers of many of Bollywood’s hottest talents.

Besides launching Sunny Kaushal as the lead – Vicky Kaushal’s talented younger brother – it’s no surprise that the Shailendra also sourced fresh, young talent for his movie album. In the very first film that he ever produced and released in Bollywood – Pyaar Mein KabhiKabhi (PMKK) – Shailendra debuted over 170 new talents. This included Vishal-Shekhar and Salim-Sulaiman, Shaan and Mahalaxmi.

While debuting as writer and Director, Shailendra Singh launches the dynamic duo of Adam & Eddie, who have created an album which is true to the young, hip travelling film. Together, they have also had the guts to be able to re-record - with a deep, Indian soul - the massive blockbuster You are My Sunshine, by Johnny Cash. “I can guarantee this song especially is going to be stuck in everyone’s head, and on the tips of their tongues,” says Shailendra.

The other hot Adam & Eddie original tracks to watch out for are: Main JeeRahaHoon, Chamdi Boys and Na Ho Paayi. A particular favorite of the Sunny Kauhsal’s is the catchy and mellow, Phir se UddChala.

But the Director says that the real hero of the film - produced by Hayre Entertainment - is actually the notion that ‘dreams really do come true’, if you want them bad enough. The story is based around a group of young and trendy strangers from very diverse backgrounds, who come together in order to chase after one very big dream. “There are about 14 unique, charming characters,” says Shailendra. “Each person in the audience will fall in love with a different crazy, mad character.” 

The film releases in theaters on Sept 2, 2016.

STARS WHO FIT BEST IN THE BOLLYWOOD “THE FAULT IN OUR STARS”

~With the film that featured on Star Movies Select HD’s Book Adaptation Festival, here is a look at which Bollywood stars could be cast if there were the Hindi remake! ~

The Fault in Our Stars, the teen rom-com about cancer patients who fall in love after attending a support group has been of the biggest film adaptations that hit the big screen. A film that captured the hearts of young teens internationally, Bollywood has certainly taken notice of the film’s success with speculations that a Hindi remake is in the works!

film is based on the book by the same name by famous personality John Green. The Hollywood flick is part of Star Movies Select HD’s Book Adaptation Festival and it featured on 20th August at 1pm. While speaking on the upcoming feature, the loved by all television personality, Karan Wahi mentioned "The Book Adaptation Festival on Star Movies Select is such a nice initiative especially for the movie buffs. My personal favorites are The Bourne Identity and although I'm not a major fan of rom-coms, I yet like The Fault in our Stars." 

As the rumor mill continues as to who will be part of the Fault in Our Stars film in India, here are a few options that we think are certainly fit for the role and why they can play the part!

Shahid Kapoor, Imran Khan, Ranbir Kapoor as Augustus Waters

The character of Augustus is that of a young boy who even though lost a leg due to bone cancer, he is a wonderful combination of quick wit, humor and we can think of three stars who could fit the role! Shahid Kapoor, Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor each feature a unique boyish charm that fit perfectly for the role. They are certainly talented and we can be assured of them bringing to life the character well.

Kalki Koechlin, Parineeti Chopra or Alia Bhatt as Hazel Grace Lancaster

The lead character Hazel Grace is a young thoughtful and compassionate girl diagnosed with cancer. An intelligent and bright role in the film, Kalki Koechlin, Parineeti Chopra or Alia Bhatt best suit the role with their effortless acting skills, they will surely bring the book come to life!

Aditya Roy Kapoor, Ayushman Khurana, Saqib Saleem as Isaac

The three Bollywood stars will definitely do justice to the role of Isaac who is the best friend of Augustus Waters and is one of the comical characters in the film.
