Recently his very wit left him in middle of an uncalled for situation in the neighboring country.The actor was at an event over the weekend and was quizzed about rumours doing the rounds that probably his next film may have a Pakistani actress in the film. Knowing the ease of how he could be misquoted Irrfan threw in a joke to ease the situation of a sensitive matter.Irrfan joked that the actress, Sabah Qamar got married to an Indian and now is technically an Indian.While the press understood the joke it was somehow made into breaking headlines in Pakistan leaving the actor completely amused.

Kriti Kharbanda’s tryst with Gujarati for Atithii Iin London

For actors, it’s certainly not easy to just resemble the characters they enact on screen but also to sound like them. Actress Kriti Kharbanda, who made a stellar debut with Vikram Bhatt’s successful franchise, Raaz Reboot, can vouch for this.

The versatile actress, who will be seen playing a Gujarati character in Ashwini Dhir’s upcoming family entertainer Atithii Iin London alongside Kartik Aaryan and veteran actors Paresh Rawal and Tanvi Azmi, had to speak Gujarati and get the dialect right.

A source informs, “Since Kriti had to speak Gujarati fluently, she had to learn how to speak typical Gujarati and work on her accent. She made it a point to learn the language so that it would look more authentic for the audience while enjoying the film. And who better than her veteran co-star Paresh Rawal, who willingly helped her to get the Gujarati diction right.”

Kriti says, “During the extensive shoot schedule in London, Paresh sir helped me to get the Gujarati diction right. I used to sit with him during breaks and he used to recite my lines in Gujarati and helped me to get the right nuance. I’m really grateful to Paresh sir. He was a great help.” 

Karan Singh Grover to collaborate with British rock band

Besides being a talented actor, Karan Singh Grover is also fond of singing and is all set to take his passion for singing to the next level.

The talented actor will now be collaborating with an international music band. If sources are to be believed, the suave actor has been planning to train professionally as a singer and will team up with the British band, Dinosaur Pile-Up.

A source says, “Together they will work on a couple of rock songs, a genre that the international band is known for.”

Karan confirms, “I feel it’s a great opportunity. It will be an interesting experience and something worth doing in the field of music. It’s too early to reveal anything. I like rock music and it’s also one of my favourite genres. The band is known for their rock numbers, so the idea is to do something in that genre.”
