द ऑस्कर्स २०१७ में इस बार !

दुनिया के सबसे प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कारों में शुमार ऑस्कर अवार्ड्स २६ फरवरी को घोषित  किये जायेंगे।  श्रेष्ठ फिल्म (बेस्ट पिक्चर) की श्रेणी में ९ फिल्मों के नामों का ऐलान हो चूका है।  इनमे से किसी एक को २६ फरवरी के विजेता घोषित किया जायेगा।  इसके  अलावा अन्य दूसरी श्रेणियों में भी नामांकन का ऐलान किया जा चुका है।  आइये जानते हैं कौन कौन सी फिल्म, कौन कौन एक्टर-एक्ट्रेस और एनीमेशन मूवीज ऑस्कर की दौड़ में शामिल हैं -
श्रेष्ठ फिल्म (बेस्ट पिक्चर)- इस श्रेणी में अराइवल, फेंसेज़, हैक्सा रिज, हेल ऒर हाई वॉटर, हिडन फिगर्स, ला ला लैंड, लायन, मेनचेस्टर बय द सी और मूनलाइट जैसी नौ फ़िल्में नामित हैं।
अराइवल- बारह स्पेसक्राफ्ट रहस्यमय तरीके से पृथ्वी पर उतरते हैं, जिनमे एलियंस हैं।  भाषाई प्रोफेसर लुइस बैंक्स को उनकी भाषा समझने लिए तैनात किया जाता है।  निर्देशक डेनिस विलेनुवे की इस रहस्य ड्रामा से भरपूर विज्ञान फंतासी फिल्म के निर्माताओं शॉन लेवी, डान लेविन, आरोन रैडर और डेविड लिंडे का यह पहला ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन है।  अराइवल को सिनेमेटोग्राफी, डायरेक्शन, फिल्म एडिटिंग। प्रोडक्शन डिजाईन, साउंड एडिटिंग, साउंड मिक्सिंग और अडॉप्टेड स्क्रीनप्ले राइटिंग की श्रेणी में भी नामांकन मिला है।
फेंसेज़- ट्रॉय मैक्सन पूर्व खिलाड़ी है और अपनी पत्नी रोज और किशोर बेटे कोरी के साथ पिट्सबर्ग में रिटायर लाइफ जी रहा है। उसके मन में बेसबॉल और ज़िन्दगी के प्रति कड़वाहट भरी है।  इससे मैक्सन और फुटबॉल के उदीयमान खिलाड़ी कोरी के साथ उसके सम्बन्ध खराब होने लगते हैं।  निर्माता स्कॉट रूडिन और फिल्म के निर्देशक और एक्टर डेंजेल वाशिंगटन का बेस्ट एक्टर की श्रेणी में आठंवा ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन हैं।  फिल्म के एक अन्य निर्माता टॉड ब्लैक का यह पहला नामांकन है।  यह फिल्म बेस्ट एक्टर, एक्ट्रेस और अडॉप्टेड स्क्रीनप्ले राइटिंग की श्रेणी में भी नामित हुई है।
हैक्सा रिज- निर्देशक मेल गिब्सन की यह फिल्म द्वितीय विश्व युध्द के दौरान अमेरिकन आर्मी के डेस्मंड टी डॉस की कहानी है, जो ओकिनावा के युद्ध में  लोगों पर गोलियां चलाने से इनकार कर देता है।  इस  बायोपिक फिल्म का नायक डेस्मंड पहला सैनिक था, जिसे बिना एक भी गोली चलाये मैडल ऑफ़ हॉनर दिया गया था।  फिल्म की निर्माता जोड़ी बिल मैकेनिक और डेविड पेरमुट का यह पहला ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन है। इस फिल्म को बेस्ट एक्टर, डायरेक्शन, फिल्म एडिटिंग, साउंड एडिटिंग और साउंड मिक्सिंग की श्रेणी में भी नामांकन मिला है।
हेल ऒर हाई वाटर-  डेविड मैकेंज़ी निर्देशित इस फिल्म में दो भाई टोबी और टेनर वेस्ट अपने खेत बचाने के लिए टेक्सास बैंक लूट लेते हैं।  टेक्सास रेंजर मार्कस हैमिलटन के रिटायरमेंट से पहले का यह आखिरी मामला है।  वह इस मामले की तह तक पहुंचता ही है कि। ...! निर्माता कार्ला हैकेन और जूली यॉर्न का यह पहला अकादमी नॉमिनेशन है।  फिल्म सपोर्टिंग एक्टर, फिल्म एडिटिंग और ओरिजिनल स्क्रीप्ले राइटिंग की श्रेणी में भी नामित हुई है।
हिडन फिगर्स-  साठ के दशक की शुरुआत में अफ्रीकी-अमेरिकी महिला गणितज्ञों की टीम तमाम बाधाओं के बावजूद नासा के अंतरिक्ष कार्यक्रमों को सफल बनाने में अपना योगदान देती हैं।  थिओडोर मेलफी निर्देशित हिडन फिगर्स की निर्माता डोना गिगलिओटी का यह चौथा ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन है।  पीटर चेर्निन और जेन्नो टॉपिंग पहली बार और फैरेल विलियम्स दूसरी बार नामित हुए हैं।  फिल्म अडॉप्टेड स्क्रीनप्ले राइटिंग और सपोर्टिंग एक्ट्रेस की श्रेणी में भी नामित हुई है।
ला ला लैंड- एक्टर बनने की इच्छुक मिया और जैज़ पियानिस्ट सेबेस्टियन शो बिज़नस में अपना मुकाम बनाने के लिए लॉस एंजेल्स में संघर्ष कर रहे हैं।  निराशा के इस  दौर में भी वह अपने बीच पैदा प्यार को भी सींचने  की कोशिश करते हैं।   फिल्म के निर्देशक डेमियन कैज़ेल हैं।  निर्माता फ्रेड बर्जर और जॉर्डन होरोविट्ज का यह पहला और मार्क प्लाट का दूसरा ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन है।  ला ला लैंड बेस्ट एक्टर और एक्ट्रेस, सिनेमेटोग्राफी, कॉस्ट्यूम डिजाईन, डायरेक्शन, एडिटिंग, ओरिजिनल म्यूजिक स्कोर, ओरिजिनल सांग, प्रोडक्शन डिजाईन, साउंड एडिटिंग, साउंड मिक्सिंग और ओरिजिनल स्क्रीनप्ले राइटिंग सहित १४ श्रेणियों में नामित हुई है।
लायन-  पांच साल का सारू अपने परिवार  से बिछुड़ जाता है।  बड़े होने पर वह टेक्नोलॉजी के जरिये कलकत्ता में अपने परिवार की खोज करता है।  गार्थ डेविस निर्देशित लायन एंजी फील्डर का पहला और एमिल शर्मन और लैन कैनिंग का दूसरा ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन है।  फिल्म सपोर्टिंग एक्टर और एक्ट्रेस, सिनेमेटोग्राफी, ओरिजिनल स्कोर और अडॉप्टेड स्क्रीनप्ले की श्रेणी में भी नामित है।
मेनचेस्टर बय द सी- अपने भाई की मौत की खबर पा कर अप्रेंटिस ली शैंडलर अपने गाँव वापस आता है।  अब  उसे गाँव में अपने अनाथ भतीजे की देखभाल भी करनी है और अपने दुःख को भी काबू रखना है।  केनेथ लोनेर्गन निर्देशित इस फिल्म के निर्माता मैट डैमन इससे पहले चार बार - बतौर एक्टर तीन बार और एक बार बतौर लेखक नामित हो चुके हैं।  किम्बर्ली स्टीवार्ड, क्रिस मूर, लॉरेन बेक और केविन जे वाल्श का यह पहला ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन है।  फिल्म बेस्ट एक्टर, सपोर्टिंग एक्टर और एक्ट्रेस, डायरेक्शन और ओरिजिनल स्क्रीनप्ले राइटिंग की श्रेणी में भी नामित है।
मूनलाइट- एक अश्वेत युवा बचपन से दुनिया में अपना मुकाम बनाने के लिए संघर्ष कर रहा है। फिल्म के निर्देशक बैरी जेनकिन्स है।  यह एडेले रोमांसकी का पहला, जेरेमी क्लिनर का चौथा और डेडे गार्डनर का पांचवा नॉमिनेशन है।  मूनलाइट सपोर्टिंग एक्टर और एक्ट्रेस, सिनेमेटोग्राफी, डायरेक्शन, एडिटिंग, ओरिजिनल स्कोर और अडॉप्टेड स्क्रीनप्ले राइटिंग की श्रेणी में भी नामित है।
श्रेष्ठ अभिनेता (एक्टर इन लीडिंग रोल)- इस श्रेणी में कैसी एफलेक, एंड्रू गारफील्ड, रयान गॉस्लिंग, वैगो मॉर्टेंसन और डेंजेल वाशिंगटन नामित हैं।
कैसी एफलेक- फिल्म मेनचेस्टर बय द सी में अप्रेंटिस ली शैंडलर के किरदार के लिए नामित होने वाले कैसी २००७ में द असैसिनेशन ऑफ़ जेसे जेम्स के लिए सपोर्टिंग एक्टर की  श्रेणी में नामित हो चुके हैं।
एंड्रू गारफील्ड- हैकसॉ रिज में  द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध के दौरान लोगों पर गोली चलाने से इनकार करने वाले सैनिक डेस्मंड डॉस की भूमिका के नामित एंड्रू गारफील्ड का यह पहला ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन है।
रयान गॉस्लिंग- जाज जैज़ पियानिस्ट सेबेस्टियन के किरदार के लिए नामित रयान गॉस्लिंग २००६ में हाफ नेल्सन के लिए भी नामित हो चुके हैं।
वैगो मॉर्टेंसन- कैप्टेन फैंटास्टिक में पैसिफिक नार्थवेस्ट में अपने  छह बच्चों का पालन कर रहे बेन की भूमिका के लिए नॉमिनेशन पाने वाले वेगो भी २००७ में ईस्टर्न प्रोमिसेज़ के लिए नामित हो चुके हैं।
डेंजेल वाशिंगटन- फेंसेज़ में ट्रॉय मैक्सन के किरदार के लिए नॉमिनेशन पाने वाले डेंजेल का यह आठवां ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन है।  वह ट्रेनिंग डे (२००२) और ग्लोरी (१९८९) के लिए ऑस्कर जीत चुके हैं। वह फेंसेज़ के दो नॉमिनेशन के अलावा फ्लाइट (२०१२), द हरिकेन (१९९९), मालकम एक्स (१९९२)  और क्राई फ्रीडम (१९८७) के लिए भी नामित हो चुके हैं।
श्रेष्ठ अभिनेत्री (एक्ट्रेस इन लीडिंग रोल)- इस श्रेणी में इसाबेल हुपर्ट, रूथ नेगा नताली पोर्टमैन, एमा स्टोन और मेरील स्ट्रीप जैसी वरिष्ठ अभिनेत्रियां नामित हैं।
इसाबेल हुपर्ट- एल्ले में बलात्कार के बावजूद मदद के लिए पुलिस के पास नहीं जाने वाली, बल्कि खुद ही अपराधियों का पता लगा कर उन्हें सज़ा देने वाली सफल सीईओ मिशेल का किरदार करने के लिए नामित इसाबेल हुपर्ट का यह पहला ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन है।
रूथ नेगा-  फिल्म लविंग के अपने श्वेत पति को पाने के लिए अमेरिकी कानून में बदलाव की लड़ाई लड़ने वाली अफ्रीकन अमेरिकन महिला मिल्ड्रेड का किरदार  करने के कारण रूथ नेगा को यह पहला ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन मिला है।
नताली पोर्टमैन- फिल्म जैकी में अमेरिका के पहली महिला जैकी केनेडी का किरदार करने के लिए नताली पोर्टमैन का यह तीसरा ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन है।  इससे पहले वह ब्लैक स्वान (२०१०) और क्लोज़र (२००४) के लिए भी नामित हो चुकी हैं।  
एमा स्टोन- ला ला लैंड की उदीयमान गायिका मिया के किरदार के लिए एमा स्टोन का नामांकन उनका ऑस्कर के लिए दूसरा नामांकन हैं। २०१४ में वह फिल्म बर्डमैन में सपोर्टिंग एक्ट्रेस की श्रेणी में नामित हुई थी।  
मेरील स्ट्रीप- फ्लोरेंस फोस्टर जेनकिन्स में टाइटल रोल करने वाली हॉलीवुड की सबसे वरिष्ठ एक्ट्रेस मेरील स्ट्रीप का यह बीसवां ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन है।  वह इनटू द वुड्स (२०१४), ऑगस्ट: ओसेज काउंटी (२०१३), जूली एंड जूलिया (२००९), डाउट (२००८), द डेविल वेअर्स प्रादा (२००६), अडॉप्टेशन (२००२), म्यूजिक ऑफ़ द हार्ट (१९९९), वन ट्रू थिंग (१९८८), द ब्रिजेज ऑफ़ मैडिसन काउंटी (१९९५), पोस्टकार्ड फ्रॉम द एज (१९९०), अ क्राई इन द डार्क (१९८८), आयरनवीड (१९८७), आउट ऑफ़ अफ्रीका (१९८५), सिल्कवुड (१९८३), द फ्रेंच लैफ्टिनेंटस वुमन (१९८१) और द डियर हंटर (१९७८) के लिए नामित होने के अलावा द आयरन लेडी (२०११), सोफीज़ चॉइस (१९८२)और क्रैमर वर्सेज क्रैमर (१९७९) के लिए ऑस्कर अवार्ड्स जीत चुकी हैं।   

एनिमेटेड फीचर फिल्म- इस श्रेणी की एनीमेशन फिल्मों में कुबो एंड द टू स्ट्रिंग्स, मोआना, माय लाइफ ऐज आ ज़ूशीनी, द रेड टर्टल और जूटोपिया के नाम शामिल हैं।   

कुबो एंड द टू स्ट्रिंग्स- युवा कुबो को अपने पिता की तीन चीज़ों की तलाश हैं, जिनसे वह अपनी जादूगरी की ताकत फिर हासिल कर सकता है। फिल्म के निर्माता अरियाने सुटनर पहली बार तथा निर्माता- निर्देशक ट्रेविस नाइट दूसरी बार (पहला नामांकन द बॉक्सट्रॉल्स (२०१४)) ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन पा रहे हैं।  इस फिल्म को विजुअल इफेक्ट्स की श्रेणी में भी नामांकन मिला है। 

मोआना- किशोरी मोआना को समुद्र से प्यार है।  मगर पिता की हिदायत है कि वह पोलीनेसियन आइलैंड की सीमा से आगे न जाए।  लेकिन, जब मोआना के घर को खतरा पैदा होता है तो वह सीमा भी पर करती है और एक डेमी गॉड मोई से मदद भी पाती है। फिल्म के निर्माता ओसनेट शुरुर का पहला तथा निर्देशक जॉन मस्कर का दूसरा और निर्देशक रॉन क्लेमेंट्स का तीसरा ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन है।  

माय लाइफ ऐज अ ज़ूशीनी- शराबी माँ की मौत के बाद ज़ूशीनी अनाथालय में आ जाता हैं, जहां उसके जैसे तमाम बच्चे हैं।  वह उन बच्चों से दोस्ती भी करता है और बड़े होकर अपने और सबके भविष्य बनाने की तैयारी भी करता है।  निर्माता क्लाड बरास और मैक्स कार्ली का यह पहला ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन है।  

द रेड टर्टल- एक नाविक समुद्र के किनारे वीरान द्वीप में फंस जाता है। वह जितनी बार नाव बना कर समुद्र पर करने की कोशिश करता है, एक बड़ी लहर और विशालकाय लाल कछुआ उसके हर प्रयास असफल कर देते है। फादर एंड डॉटर (२०००) के लिए ऑस्कर जीत चुके माइकल डुडौक डिविट का यह तीसरा नॉमिनेशन है।  वह द मोंक एंड द फिश (१९९४) के लिए नामित हो चुके हैं। यह द विंड राइजेज के बाद निर्माता ताशियो सुजुकी का दूसरा ऑस्कर नॉमिनेशन है।  

जूटोपिया- खरगोश जुडी होप्स जूटोपिया में तैनात धोखेबाज़ पुलिस वाला है।  वह एक मामले को सुलझाने के दौरान दुष्ट लोमड़ी के संपर्क में आता है। निर्देशक बायरन होवार्ड और रिच मूर का यह दूसरा नामांकन है।  इससे पहले बायरन बोल्ट (२००८) और रिच रेक-इट राल्फ (२०१२) के लिए नामित हो चुके हैं। निर्माता क्लार्क स्पेंसर पहली बार ऑस्कर समारोह में मौजूद होंगे। यह फिल्म वर्ल्डवाइड बॉक्स ऑफिस पर १ बिलियन डॉलर से अधिक का बिज़नस कर चुकी है।

'All about the bass' hitmaker Meghan Trainor Brings Back Girl Power for 'Smurfs: The Lost Village' Song - 'I'm a Lady'

Songstress Meghan Trainor has unveiled  “I’m a Lady,” her new song from the fully-animated feature film Smurfs: The Lost Village.The Grammy-winning pop star dropped the sassy, girl power anthem overnight. The accompanying music video will premiere next Friday, March 3rd Trainor also announced that she will be voicing one of the new characters from Smurfs: The Lost Village, Smurf Melody, in one of this year’s most awaited animation feature films. 

“I’m so excited to be singing ‘I’m a Lady’ for this movie,” said Trainor.  “It’s a song that I love and am very proud of, and I can’t wait for the world to finally hear it! Getting to play a small part in the film with my character, SmurfMelody, makes this all the more exciting! So happy to be a part of the Smurfs family!!!” 

In this fully animated, fresh new take on the Smurfs, a mysterious map sets Smurfette and her best friends Brainy, Clumsy and Hefty on an exciting and thrilling race through the Forbidden Forest filled with magical creatures to find a mysterious lost village before the evil wizard Gargamel does.  Embarking on a roller-coaster journey full of action and danger, the Smurfs are on a course that leads to the discovery of the biggest secret in Smurf history! 

Directed by Kelly Asbury, the film is written by Stacey Harman and Pamela Ribon, based on the characters and works of Peyo.  Produced by Jordan Kerner and Mary Ellen Bauder Andrews,Smurfs: The Lost Village  features the voices of Demi Lovato as Smurfette, Rainn Wilson as Gargamel, Joe Manganiello as Hefty Smurf, Jack McBrayer as Clumsy Smurf, Danny Pudi as Brainy Smurf, Michelle Rodriguez as Smurf Storm, Ellie Kemper as Smurf Blossom, Ariel Winter as Smurf Lily, with Mandy Patinkin as Papa Smurf and Julia Roberts as Smurf Willow. 

Smurfs: The Lost Village is all set to release in India on 21st April,2017.

Swara Bhaskar and Sandiip Kapur launch the trailer of Anaarkali of Aarah

Swara Bhaskar has been the talk of the town since the release of the first poster of her forthcoming film, Anaarkali of Aarah, produced by Priya and Sandiip Kapur, starring her along with Sanjay Mishra, Pankaj Tripathi and Ishtiaq Khan among others, directed by Avinash Das under the banner Promodome Motion Pictures. 

The scintillating poster featuring Swara sporting a multi-colour lehenga created a huge buzz among the viewers who couldn’t stop praising her bold avatar! 

The trailer launch of the colourful entertainer was conducted amidst a packed house by producer Priya and Sandiip Kapur, director Avinash Das and the cast Swara Bhaskar (dressed as Anaarkali), Sanjai Mishra, Pankaj Tripathy and Ishhtiaq Khan. 

Anarkali of Aarah revolves around a singer (played by Swara Bhaskar) who hails from Aarah in Bihar and is popular for her erotic songs. While Pankaj Tripathy portrays the colourful coordinator and manager of Anaarkali’s famous music party, the versatile and brilliant actor Sanjai Mishra will be seen playing a layered antagonist. Swara says, “Anaarkali is probably the toughest yet a very interesting character I've portrayed so far. Toughest because I wasn't familiar with such a different world which exist in our society. Watching several YouTube videos of singers like Anaarkali really inspired me as an actor. We also did workshops on our diction, accent and speech. It was a fabulous experience.” 

Producer Sandiip Kapur says: This subject has been very close to my heart since the first story narration. I am extremely proud of the final product and the performances of everyone, from Swara to Sanjay and Pankaj to Ishhtiaq are worthy of great applause. I thank my entire team for making this story a reality that you shall soon see. 

Director Avinash Das says, "When YouTube was just launched, I heard one sensuous and erotic number sung by Tarabano Faizabadi. She had no expression on her face and that's how the idea of Anarkali of Arrah developed in my mind. We have witnessed several incidents related to street singers in India in the last six to seven years, which made me feel I was on the right track. I'm thankful to producer Sandiip Kapur and Promodome Motion Pictures for their fifth and trust in me.” 

Produced by Priya and Sandiip Kapur and written and directed by Avinash Das under the banner Promodome Motion Pictures, Anaarkali of Aarah featuring Swara Bhaskar, Sanjai Mishra, Pankaj Tripathy and Ishhtiaq Khan is scheduled to release on March 24.

~Each year, there have always been a few Oscars speeches we can never forget~ 

As the 2017 Oscars and Oscar day draw closer, one of the many takeaways that fans to the nominees also remember is the Oscar speeches. For the past 89 years, Academy Awards have featured a host of speeches and moments that made us laugh or cry along with the winner. It can’t certainly be quite emotional moment for a nominee since artist to aspiring members watching at home have all daydreamed at least once in their lives to be able to her their name and to climb those stair and stand in front of millions of people watching around the world as they deliver an unforgettable Oscar speech.

The Oscars this year will be hosted by late night host Jimmy Kimmel and soon enough, we will find out who will be going home with the Oscar and will witness the best Oscar speeches that we will never forget. As we await for 27th February morning, here are some of the most emotional Oscar acceptance speeches from years past.

HALLE BERRY: 

Halle Berry became the first ever actress to secure a win for Best Actress in a Leading role. “This moment is so much bigger than me. This is for every nameless, faceless woman of colour that now has a chance because this door has opened.”

In a midst of tears and emotion, Halle Berry gave a sirring speech at the historic moment for her role in the movie- Monsters Ball as she became the first black woman to win the Oscar for Best Actress.

TOM HANKS

The two time Oscar Winner, the actor accepted his second Best Acttors Oscar in a row for Forrest Gump, having won previously for the film- Philadelphia. In a truly memorable speech, the actor gave a passionate few lines and also thanked his wife who he said “demonstrates for me everyday just what love is”.

LEONARDO DICAPRIO

It had been a long time coming for actor Leonardo Dicaprio. Last year, after numerous Oscar Nominations- the actor finally clinched the award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for the film0 The Revenant. The entire theatre gave him a standing ovation followed by a truly beautiful speech by the actor as he thanked his family, friends and gave a rousing speech on climate change. “For our children’s children, and for those people out there whose voices have been drowned out by the politics of greed. I thank you all for this amazing award tonight. Let us not take this planet for granted. I do not take tonight for granted. Thank you so very much.”

ROBIN WILLIAMS

A role that showcased a whole new side to the late comedian, Robin Williams, Good Will Hinting will always go down in history for the star’s breathtaking portrayal and his relationship with Matt Damon in the film. The comedian won the Oscar for Best supporting actor in 1998 and was completely surprised. “This might be the one time I am speechless”, which till today is a truly memorable moment. While many expected a speech full of impressions from the bouncing comedian, Robin Williams was gracious and almost out of breath. The actor thanked the Good Will Hunting cast and shared an anecdote about his father who had once said he should make sure he has a “backup profession like welding”.

ROBERTO BENIGNI 

The name Roberto Benigni became infamous in 1999 after his film- Life is Beautiful won an Oscars for Best Foreign Language Film. The actor after hearing the film winning an Oscars was so overwhelmed that he climbed over the seats at the theatre and even skipped onto the stage! The Enthusiastic director was over joyous and even told presenter, veteran actress Sophia Loren “I lift this trophy but I want you. I want to be rocked by the waves of your beauty. “What follows was certainly more laughter as the Italian director gave his thanks to  everyone and even cracked jokes about his parents saying “They gave me the biggest gift of poverty.” 

MATTHEW  McCONAUGHEY

A role that will truly be unforgettable, Matthew McConaughey won his first ever Oscar for Best Actor in a lead role for the film- Dallas Buyers Club. The speech featured his classic ’Alright, Alright, Alright’ and is a rare speech that made you laugh, cry and be inspired. With a combination of passion and humor, McConaughey shared about the role ,his faith and family who have inspired him. By ending his speech with his signature "Alright, alright, alright," which won the crowd completely.
