Ranveer Singh and Arjan Bajwa were spotted bonding
at an awards event in New Delhi recently. The two hit it off the moment they
crossed each others' paths.They were a delight for the shutterbugs with their
funny antics. Arjan, who was last seen in the Akshay Kumar-starrer Rustom
(2016), seemed to be enjoying the attention. Ranveer's infectious enthusiasm
seemed to have rubbed off on Arjan, who could not stop flashing his pearlies.

Sonam Kapoor joins Harvard Business School’s BHI panel
Harvard
Business School’s India Research Center, as part of the “Best of Harvard in
South Asia” platform, conducts lectures, roundtables, panel discussions and
debates around substantive topics that are relevant from an India perspective
and provide business leaders an opportunity to access some of the latest
research taking place at Harvard Business School.
They
will be launching their Gender Series later this month and the first
conversation in the series is with HBS Professor Geoffrey G. Jones, Isidor
Straus Professor of Business History & Faculty Chair of the Business
History Initiative, on the topic “Beauty : Limiting or Liberating”. The acclaimed institution has invited Sonam
Kapoor, India’s poster girl for fashion, to join the esteemed panel. Sonam will
share insights and participate in the interesting debate that promises to be an
eye-opener. The National award winning actress, who put Indian fashion back on
the international map will talk about the pitfalls and challenges associated
with both notions of beauty and the aspiration to look "beautiful”. Sonam
made for the ideal personality to join the panel, especially since the actress
broke the internet earlier last year, with her open letter titled “ I Didn’t
Wake Up Like This” , busting the myth of flawlessness. The star has also been
very vocal about condemning body shaming and embracing individual beauty.
Says
sonam kapoor, "I look forward to joining the conversation conducted by the
HBS .I think the subject is very relevant to our time."
The
event will be curated at a luxury hotel in South Mumbai later this week.
Amy Jackson to produce a short film for animal welfare
Be it
raising her voice against cruelty towards animals or raising funds through an
NGO for the betterment of animals, Amy Jackson has always supported animal
welfare.Taking
the noble cause to the next level, the gorgeous actress has now decided to
co-produce and feature in short film with her friend creating awareness about
cruelty to animals and how to prevent it.The
actress will soon be meeting the government officials in India for the
documentary’s sponsorship and plans to send the documentary to several film
festivals.Amy
says, “I am producing a short movie with my friend in London (UK). We’ve shot
half of it. This cause is close to my heart and I am always up for animal
welfare. I’m a public personality, and raising awareness is only a small
contribution towards animal welfare. I have also applied to a few festivals and
have approached the Indian government for help with this. A lot of ground work
is required and I am doing it.”There
is a need to stop cruelty against animals and love them — not abuse them. A lot
of people are cruel to animals and I want to tell them that it’s fine if you
can’t do anything for them, but don’t hurt them either,” she adds.

Actor Natasha Singh will make her comeback with filmmaker
Panini Pandit's short film Ishq Ka Rock. Talking about how she came on board,
Natasha says, "Panini's mom and my mom knew each other when we were kids.
So we've known each other since childhood. He called me out of the blue one day
and said he's going to make a short film and asked me if I would like to act
for him. I was surprised but was very excited, too, that he was finally joining
the same profession as his father," she says, adding, "We fixed a
meeting and I heard the script and loved it. I could feel the passion he had
for the story as he was narrating. I loved the script instantly and agreed to
get on board." The actor, who has been seen in shows such as Dekh Bhai
Dekh, Saath Phere and Woh Hue Na Hamare
says that she would love to do more work in cinema, but wants to only
take up meaty characters. "The project needs to excite me and so does my
character. It needs to challenge my acting abilities," she says.

landscapes of Rajasthan. After much buzz, the film is all set to be released
this year and now a brand new look from the film "The Song of
Scorpions", directed by Anup Singh has just been released. Irrfan will be
seen romancing with much acclaimed Hollywood actress, Golshifteh Farahani who
was last seen in Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Men Tell No Tales. Talking
about Irrfan, his role in the movie is that of a Camel trader hence the rusty
and rugged appearance.
