Not only Farhan Akhtar, even Milkha Singh could be proud of The Faith Runner

When Farhan Akhtar brilliantly transformed himself for the epic Milkha Singh-movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, it was a delight to watch his wondrous feat. But not all achievers get the mileage Bollywood stars get. 
Like what Samir Singh is doing for a hundred days is yet another mind-boggling adventure in itself. Samir is not an actor, nor is he prepping for a movie. He's purely a runner and like all runners, in awe of the legendary Milkha Singh — The Flying Sikh. And because of Samir's strong spiritual beliefs and his faith in Lord Krishna, he’s fondly called The Faith Runner. 
Around three months ago, the ultra marathoner embarked on an inconceivable journey of pushing human endurance to the extreme. He undertook a mission to run 100 kilometers every day for 100 days within Mumbai, covering a total distance of 10,000 kilometers. 
Such an extraordinary feat has never been attempted before by any long distance runner anywhere in the world — which makes Samir the first to conceive and attempt this grueling format in distance running. As of this week, he has successfully completed 80 days. 
Moreover, he has been accomplishing this run without help from any support group, organization, physiotherapist, masseur, dietitian, nutritionist or media coverage. The only support he has had until now is from his younger brother who cooks for him and some contributions from his well-wishers in the running community. 
Interestingly for Samir, filmmakers Vikram and Vandana Bhatti, a brother-sister duo of Marathon Films, who happen to be running enthusiasts too, have begun a Facebook campaign called The Faith Runner (with the unique title coined by Vikram Bhatti). www.facebook.com/TheFaithRunner/. 

Here's hoping that more and more people of the world come together to celebrate, salute and applaud this unsung athlete as he creates history.

No Time for hospital Runs

Bollywood Actor and Director  Shreyas Talpade who currently have two movies in his pocket is struggling between  his career and Family life.  Shreyas wife Deepti Talpade is suffering from Swine flue but due to his commitments he has to visit set and be on calls for his movies Posters Boys. 
The actor was recently in buzz that he is handling his Directorial debut Poster Boys on phone while shooting for his upcoming stint Golmaal Again. On Monday night when he returned from late night shoot he got to know that his wife deepti is suffering from heavy fever. Next morning due to commitment he admitted Deepti and went for a shoot of 'Golmaal Again'. 
'It is a difficult time. Deepti has been hospitalised cause of H1N1 & as much as I want to be with her, I have to rush from one studio to the other to meet the deadline on completion of POSTER BOYS trailer, GOLMAAL AGAIN shoot & then be with her at the hospital in the interim breaks" Said Shreyas. 

Posters Boys features Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol & Shreyas Talpade himself in lead roles. The film is an official remake of the 2014 Marathi hit Poshter Boyz which Shreyas had produced and acted in. It is inspired by a real life incident about three coolies who found their pictures on a vasectomy poster. Produced by Affluence Movie Pvt. Ltd., Poster Boys is scheduled to be released on 8 September 2017.

The festival of Teej brings the cast of &TV’s BadhoBahu and Waaris together

Teej is the festival that brings out a furor amongst married women who celebrate this wholeheartedly. But this doesn’t seem to be the case with the bahusBadho (RytashaRathore) and Preet (Farnaz Shetty) of &TV’s BadhoBahu and Waaris respectively. While Badho’sLuckyji (Prince Narula) is away in Punjab, Preet and Raj (Neel Motwani) aren’t looking eye to eye. But the two couples come together at a TeejMela in a Mahasangam which will soon air on &TV! 
In a quest to get Badho and Lucky a little closer to each other, ChotoBua (JuhiAslam) kidnaps Badho and takes her to Punjab to meet Lucky and celebrate her fist ever Teej. On the other hand, Raj’s mother forces Raj and Preet to follow the rituals of Teej as the newly married couple. And when the two couples meet each other at the TeejMela, they bring with them a flavor of masti, dance and drama galore promising an exciting time for the audience. 
Farnaz Shetty who is known for her portrayal of a firebrand Preet, will be seen performing a special dance number on ‘La La Ho Gayi Re’ in a traditional sharara just like a typical Punjabi kudi. Not just that, the couples will be seen rocking the Mela on ‘Patiyala Peg LagaKe’ amidst much fanfare and aplomb! 
Said Farnaz Shetty “It was great fun having the cast of BadhoBahu on our set. Rytasha and I instantly bonded which made the long hours go by quicker than expected. I must admit, it was the dancing that truly tested us, but we had a great time grooving to the beats notwithstanding the torrential rains and the wind.” 
From mehendi to dance, music and romantic scenes on the trationaljhoola bedecked with flowers, this Teej celebration is nothing short of a scene from a Blockbuster Hindi Movie! Will this festival of Teej bring Badho-Lucky and Raj-Preet together?

Tejasswi Prakash as Diya and Affan Khan as Ratan Maan Singh have caught everyone’s attention with their unique bond. While the concept of the show has kept the audiences engrossed, everyone is now waiting with bated breath to witness their marriage. 
Much to the delight of the audience, Diya will be soon taking up the humongous responsibility of becoming Ratan’s Pehredaar by getting married to him. For the wedding sequence, Tejasswi will be seen decked up from head to toe as the designers ensured she looked gorgeous for the same. Also, the combined weight of all the jewellery and the designer lehenga that I wore for the wedding sequence was about 40 kilos! It was really heavy and I have never till date worn so many beautiful ornaments.”
