Rithvik Dhanjani takes revenge on Super Dancer Chapter 2

Recently the stunning Deepika Padukone was seen promoting her upcoming film Padmavati on Sony Entertainment Television’s Super Dancer Chapter 2. The super judges with all the contestants were surprised when Rithvik Dhanjani planned on taking revenge on the set.
When our TRP mama planned for Rithvik Dhanjani to dance wearing a single heel, Rithvik Dhanjani after Shagun Singh’s fabulous performance on the song ghoomar planned to make him wear a gagra and take 60 rounds the way Deepika Padukone seamlessly took while shooting for the song. Once he wore the gagra, he figured how hard it was for him to even take 10 rounds with that weight. While he became breathless, Rithvik Dhanjani made sure he completed his 60 rounds. It was a hilarious attempt from his side and Deepika Padukone did compliment him for his efforts.
Source from the set revealed, “It was a classic act of revenge. Paritosh Tripathi was not aware of what was coming through and during flirting with Deepika Padukone, he took up the challenge of wearing the gagra and completing 60 rounds at once. He very soon realised the efforts and practice Deepika Padukone put in to shoot this scene.”

Here’s why Laksh was scared of signing Porus

Being part of Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s magnum Opus, ‘Porus’, seems to be the dream project for many in the television fraternity. While the cast has been carefully chosen and trained, very few know that lead actor Laksh Lalwani was initially hesitant to take on the show. “I was very scared before signing the show. We had many meetings about the script and character. It was a huge responsibility to portray the character of a prince. I had to learn horse riding, sword fighting and many things to get into my character. But, then I took it up as a challenge and prepared myself for the show,” says Laksh. In fact, Laksh’s costumes weigh around 16 to 18 kg, and are laced with several ancient jewellery pieces. The actor, who is currently shooting in Umbergaon, Gujarat, for the show, was last seen portraying the character of Veer Mehra in ‘Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil’.  Writer, director and producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary has presented Laksh in such a grand way that he will surely be the flavour of the season.

I am happy to wear regular clothes again : Ankit Arora

Taking a break from costume dramas, actor Ankit Arora is more than happy to be sporting regular jeans and jackets on screen again. The actor, who is back on television with Hum Tum Telefilms and Sunny Side Up Films's Badho Bahu, is playing the character of Balwinder who is a coaches Rana Singh Ahlawat, played by Arhaan Khan.
Talking about the project, he says, “Getting the role of Balwinder was quick. I got a call from the casting team at midnight and the next day morning I was asked to report on the set. Playing this character is indeed a nice change for me as I am happy to wear the regular clothes again. Sporting jeans and jackets and riding a bike feels really nice. My introduction scene has been appreciated a lot."
Since he signed the show so fast, Ankit is busy beefing up for his character, as he shoots the show. “There was hardly any time to prepare for my role. I am going to gym whenever I am getting an opportunity. I have to do it as am playing a boxer in the show,” he says.

Ask him about his favourite sports films, and he says, “I have loved Chak De! India, Dangal, Rocky. Whenever I watched these movies, I get goose bumps and they inspire me a lot. One can learn so many aspects of life from watching these movies."
