Raveena Tandon‘s case of lost and found

Raveena Tandon’s faith in humanity was reaffirmed after her recent experience with an auto-rickshaw rider. The actress's friend, Purnima Lamchhan was paying her visit at her residence in Bandra. She hadn't even realised that she had forgotten her phone in the auto-rickshaw she had boarded. When the auto-rickshaw rider found the phone in the backseat, he rode all the way to Tandon’s bungalow in Bandra to hand the phone. Touched by his honesty, the gorgeous actress clicked selfies with him and wrote a post dedicated to him on her Twitter handle.
She wrote, “This honest man, came back to return @PurnimaLamchhan phone of his own accord even without us realising she had left her phone in his autorickshaw! Reinstills my faith in people. All is not lost!”

Taapsee’s look in Dil Juunglee is inspired by Princess Diaries.

Actress Taapsee Pannu whose last film Judwaa 2 was a hit at the box office, will soon be seen in Dil Juunglee, a romantic comedy starring Saqib Saleem. The trailer of the film was out a few weeks ago and her character Koroli Nair has intrigued us. In the first half, she plays an English teacher who is someone who lives her life like a fairytale where everything is beautiful and perfect around her. While in the second half, she gets matured since there is a time lapse and becomes a woman who is more practical in her approach.
We now hear that her look in this film is inspired by Anne from Princess Diaries.  A source close to the actor mentioned, "In the first half of the film, she plays an English teacher who is nerdy and goofy, and lives life on her own terms. Her look in the film goes through changes as she grows up. Interestingly, her look in college is inspired by none other than Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway's role, Mia Thermopolis, in The Princess Diaries (2001). It is one of the most iconic films and Anne's pre-makeover look in the film became quite popular."  Taapsee's character, similar to Mia, has fringes with long curly hair and sports glasses. The source adds, "The two characters even share a lot in common on screen. Both the characters burst with life and are full of innocence. Taapsee, too, is a huge fan of the film and loves Anne Hathaway. It was exciting for her to go through the process to adapt to this peculiar look "
Dil Juunglee produced by Deepshikha Deshmukh and Jackky Bhagnani is slated to release on 23rd February.

Yash Patnaik's Ishq Mein Marjawan on Colors hits a Century

Ruling the ratings chart as one of the Top 5 shows in the urban markets, COLORS’ Ishq Mein Marjawan has won high praise from across the country. Built on a foundation of lies, treachery and malevolence - the unconventional love story follows the story of protagonists Deep Raichand (Arjun Bijlani) and Aarohi Kashyap (Aalisha Panwar) and has recently completed 100 episodes. The cast and crew members are in a joyous mood and celebrated the momentous occasion by letting their hair down at the party organized for this milestone. When contacted, Arjun Bijlani shared, “It has been a wonderful journey so far and I celebrated this milestone with the entire cast last night. This would have not been possible without the passion and hard work that we have put in and the support of our fans. I am extremely delighted and wish we complete a 1000 episodes of this engaging narrative. Yash and Mamta Patnaik always come up with innovative content ”
Aalisha Panwar added, “It feels great that our dedication and commitment to the show is paying off well. I feel fortunate that my fans are showering love on me for playing the dual roles of Aarohi and Tara. We promise to keep our audiences engaged every week and make this show even more successful in the future.”
Producer Yash Patnaik says, ““At a time when early primetime slots are filled with family and social dramas, Ishq Main Marjawan came as a breath of fresh air. It was risky to put a thriller drama at that time slot as the audience are mostly women whereas thrillers generally find their audience at late prime time.. I am glad we found our audience. It’s so heartening to see the show growing every week and being in the top 5. We are thankful to Colors for encouraging us to make IMM and supporting it all through our”

Being part of Kolkata Baabu Moshayes is going very well for me: Anshul Pandey

Actor Anshul Pandey, who is playing for Kolkata Baabu Moshayes in Ekta Kapoor and Anand Mishra’s MTV BCL, says that he loves his team. The actor adds that the team has superb players and he is proud to be part of it. “Being a part of Kolkata Baabu Moshayes is going very well so far. We have a good bunch of dedicated players and the team is very different from last year. Many of us are new and everybody is amazing,” he says, adding, “It has also been a great experience with Marinating Films. It’s amazing to work with them.”
The actor says that he is concentrating on the basics of the game. “The main task and responsibility is to get the basics right and stick to your game plan. The trick is to perfect the basics and not try something too fancy,” he says.
However, there are some challenges that the team is facing as well. “The main challenge for me is to get the hang of this ball that is used to play BCL. It behaves very differently from the normal cricket ball, so, yes, to understand it and see how it behaves is the main task,” he says.
Anshul has already started practicing regularly. “Since the last three days I have been regular at practice and these have been intense 3-hour sessions,” he says.
Stamina has never been an issue for Anshul. “Stamina and energy has never been an issue for me. I play football regularly twice a week and also run on a daily basis. The focus for me is to build some arm strength. The ball used in BCL is very soft so to bowl fast you really have to bend your back and use considerable arm strength. That's what am working on,” he says.
Anshul is not part of any show at the moment and had some time on his hands, which is why he decided to be part of BCL. “I am not doing any show currently so it was the right time to be a part of MTV BCL this year. Also, cricket is something that I have played well till state level and is very closely associated with my life,” he says.
In fact, his association with the game goes back to his school days. “I have loved cricket from a very early age and have been playing cricket all my life. I have not played regularly or followed the sport much since a year, otherwise it’s been a massive influence my entire life,” he says.
Ask him who his role model in cricket has been, and he says, “My favourite cricketer is Mr Sachin Tendulkar. I have always been a batting all-rounder and am sure he's been an inspiration to every cricketer in my generation and other generations. He was a genius at the craft. One bowler that I have always loved is Glen McGrath.”
