Dia Mirza launches Sophie Choudry’s new herbal tea

It's December already & the world's in festive spirits. But according to singer actor Sophie Choudry you can get high on tea.. specifically her brand new Ayurvedic herbal tea, Daily Brew which was launched by her close friend, actor, UN goodwill ambassador and nature lover, Dia Mirza!

Dia said that if anyone cares about fitness and wellness, it’s Sophie and that she was proud Sophie had ventured into this field last year with Fittox and now her Daily brew! And not only that, she spoke about how great the tea tasted as she sipped it on stage!

In fact the 2 friends and stunning ladies indulged in a fun Q& A “Shots with Sophie” where they spoke about fitness, crushes and cheat meals and drank a tea shot every time they answered yes to a question!

While Dia looked pretty in pink, Sophie rocked a mustard coloured fitted dress by manika nanda.

The tea party was held at a popular suburban watering hole & the ever-fit Sophie shared tips on health & well-being accompanied by her partners and founders of Fittox, Gaurav Kumar & Hansika Chandiramani.

Last year they had launched India's first Ayurvedic Detox Tea, fitTOX paving the way for a unique tea offering which offered 30 day Teatox. Bollywood and Fitness enthusiast celebs including Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Bipasha Basu were seen loving fitTOX and raving about its benefits!

And now the same trio is back with an all day tea!  Daily Brew by fitTOX is an All Day, Anytime Herbal Tea with Zero Caffeine. It is meant to replace your daily need for that hot cup of tea without the worry of high caffeine and with the benefit of great taste.

Speaking about her latest launch as an entrepreneur Sophie says, "Our detox tea, Fittox, received an overwhelming response and we’ve had people ordering from all over the world. But we also realize that not everyone wants to do a 30 day teatox. For some people, herbal tea is a part of their daily life, like it is for me. It’s just that we have always been limited to the same options when it comes to teabags; green tea, peppermint, chamomile. We want to offer something that tasted great, was full of natural, healthy ingredients and something that had more benefits than other teas! And we found that with Daily Brew! It really is an anytime tea you can sip throughout the day to feel good!"

Further talking about the association Hansika Chandiramani, a tea collector & lover shares, "I needed a daily tea which was not only light on the system but extremely beneficial with organic herbal ingredients. Daily Brew also reduces bloating and cramping which makes it even better!"

Entrepreneur & Author, Gaurav Kumar says, "Being an avid tea drinker myself, I felt that the current teas available in the market lacked a healthier low caffeine variant. We aim to fill that gap with Daily Brew."

With premium ingredients like Rosehip, Spearmint, Fennel, Lemongrass,  Cinnamon, Daily Brew helps in building good gut health, lowering stress levels, managing weight, has anti ageing properties and reduces bloating and cramping.

All ingredients of Daily Brew are 100% Organic, Gluten Free and Hand Picked to give you the best brew possible!

Sony Pictures Networks India delivers on its commitment of ‘Ek India Happywala’

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) has accelerated its focus towards creating a positive social impact in the ecosystem by building on its three-pillar framework; empowerment, education and environment. The organization believes that these 3 pillars allow for maximum impact on the lives of those it touches, by helping build a sustainable way of life.

SPN through its umbrella CSR campaign, ‘Ek India Happywala’ attempts to maintain a common thread of purpose underlying business verticals and brands within the network.

Comments:

With an aim to empower the youth and pave the path for a better future of the prison inmates, SPN celebrated the fifth anniversary of its music channel, Sony MIX, by launching ‘The Dhun Project’ in partnership with India Vision Foundation. This facilitated the opening of music training centers across five large prisons in India (Gurugram, Kasna, Dasna, Rotak and Ambala). This initiative enabled over 500 prisoners to discover their talent and hone their music skills. Falling under the ‘empowerment’ pillar of SPNI’s CSR programme, the network stressed on using the powerful medium of music for rehabilitation of inmates, preparing them for a successful reintegration into society.

To sustain the momentum of its CSR agenda based on sports, SPN partnered with Slum Soccer and sponsored the National Inclusion Cup (NIC). Through SPN’s constant support, the slum soccer teams were given top-notch training while the tournament garnered accolades reaching out to over 500 athletes. SPN also associated with the Cricket Association for the Blind of Maharashtra to empower this differently-abled section of the society. This association helped in catalyzing the cricketing prospects of 1000 young participants. SPN has supported 45 Para Champions and 117 athletes in their training and nutritional needs through its partnerships with Lakshya Institute and Go-Sports Foundation.

Under its ‘environment’ pillar, SPN partnered with The Naandi Foundation to address the rising concern of potable drinking water by providing cost-efficient water purification services to the villagers. Through this alliance, Sony Pictures Networks India is setting up 30 community water centers across the state of Maharashtra in Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Kolhapur, Solapur and Sangli. This project will strive to ensure each community water center is built using established and proven technologies, which are best suited to local water treatment in each of its geography of operations. The network has also initiated water conservation projects in various schools across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, West Bengal and Maharashtra in partnership with Lead India and Connected Technologies, using children’s favourite toons from its kid’s channel Sony YAY!

SPN is committed to supporting India’s social development agenda through its focus on various areas of social impact. All the initiatives work with the objective of empowering communities and building a better nation.
