India’s biggest dance reality show – Super Dancer, is back with its third season

Sony Entertainment Television (SET) is all set to redefine weekends with yet another exciting chapter of the nation’s favourite dance reality show – Super Dancer. The distinguished home-grown format of Super Dancer, in its third edition, not just celebrates the skill of dancing but applauds the passion and determination with which the young aspirants imbibe this skill. The show promises to take the nation through a journey that leads them to Dance Ka Kal. Retaining its trio of original Super Judges; Bollywood superstar – Shilpa Shetty, Eminent Filmmaker – Anurag Basu and celebrated choreographer – Geeta Kapur, the show will be hosted by, Rithvik Dhanjani and Paritosh Tripathi. It will premiere on 29th December and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 8:00 PM only on Sony Entertainment Television.

Produced by Frames Production Company, Super Dancer - Chapter 3 is a perfect mélange of power-packed performances, non-stop excitement and fun with performances that will keep you hooked!! 

Opening its doors to a new generation of young dancers, who dream of making it BIG on the small screen, Super Dancer Chapter 3 auditioned talent across 11 cities. From amongst the many aspirants, only 12 will be seen competing for the most coveted title. The show will provide young dance protégés with an unique opportunity to exhibit their talent on a national platform, leveraging the 3D’s of Dancing - Desire, Discipline and Determination.

With every passing season, the kids get better with their performances, never ceasing to surprise us. When we started with the first season of Super Dancer, the experience of judging such talented kids was overwhelming. Over the years, the contestants have become more technically sound and have added a plethora of facets to their dancing skills. As I gear up to judge Super Dancer Chapter 3, I feel proud to be a part of a platform that celebrates such talent and encourages them to reach for the stars.

Super Dancer is a unique platform which showcases the passion and commitment of young kids. Over the years, I have seen this passion multiplying and I am excited to see what this season has in store for us. The auditions have seen many participants and now it’s up to us to identify those 12 who will go on to compete this season.

Shahrukh Khan is Ssharad Malhotra’s role model

Every actor wishes to be like another Bollywood superstar and work towards it. Speaking of Musakaan’s lead actor Ssharad Malhotra thought he was the next Shahrukh Khan after doing this first film ‘Ek Tera Sath’. The actor is a diehard Shahrukh khan fan and takes SRK as his role model.

Ssharad Malhotra has never failed to miss a movie of Shahrukh and seeks inspiration from him. So much so that he even tries to act like him on screen. Ssharad Malhotra says, “Shahrukh’s smile is contagious and there is a lot to learn from what he portrays on screen. His energy is very inspiring and he is truly my role model.”

He adds a memorable back story saying, "Back in school days in the year 1995, after watching DDLJ for the 100th time, I travelled to Mumbai in my summer vacations and stood outside Mannat to meet him. Unfortunately, that never happened, but 10 years after that, while shooting for my first show, I bumped into him at an event and all I remember is that for me, that moment just froze. 2nd November is a day I love to celebrate and my fans know that too."

Its marathon time for Saiyami Kher again

Saiyami Kher who made a stellar debut with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Mirzya is a sportswoman by heart.

The talented actress who has been hugely appreciated for her performance in her latest release, Mauli, had successfully completed a full marathon two years ago and she is prepping up again putting her running shoes on.

She informs, "Sport has been my passion ever since I was a kid. I took to running 3 years ago. Ran the full marathon (42 kms) 2 years ago and have done a whole lot of half’s. Best thing about running is you just need to put on your shoes and run. So even if I’m shooting or working late I try getting a 30 min run in my day.

"Just a month away from race day I take care of what I eat for this month and start tapering my runs closer to the race. I’m happy seeing the running culture grow in India and urge more and more people to take it up," she adds.

Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma & Katrina Kaif to add sparkle to grand finale of Indian Idol 10

The countdown for the grand finale of Indian Idol 10 has begun. With just few days to go, viewers are anxiously waiting for the 10th Indian Idol. As the contestants are gearing up for the finals and put their best foot forward to give their best performance, the Badshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan along with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif visited the Indian Idol 10 stage to wish the contestants. The cast of Zero was bowled over by the performances and wished them for the finals. Shahrukh interacted with the contestants and lot of fun.

About Dhani’s Trio: Auroville based-band Dhani's trio is a rock band covering hits from the 60s,70s,80s, & 90s comprising of Dhani, Amando and Suresh coming from different backgrounds has joined together to start "Dhani's Trio". They play music that everyone enjoys and can relate to - From old school to popular classics and modern rock and so on. They have individually performed in different places around the world and now are based in Auroville - India.
The band comprises of Dhani on guitar and vocals who is an American/Indian musician who started performing in his early years in different bands in upstate New York. Amando on bass and vocals who have performed with many bands in Australia and USA and Suresh on drums who is and Indo-French who has performed in many bands around the world with Jazz and rock influences. 

About: DJ iSean Ishan Shekhawat (Hip Hop/Commercial)- Having grown up on an eclectic diet of Hip-Hop and Dance music, DJ iSean started djing in the early 2000s and has since then played in several gigs across the country, alongside residencies in Delhi and Goa. He has been in Puducherry recently and has already played in several underground and house parties to cheering crowds. 

His sets are very high energy, heart-pounding, belting out fresh Hip-Hop/Rap/RnB, Urban Dance and House hits. He is adept at reading the pulse of the crowd to create a unique positive vibe and get the crowd in a euphoric frenzy every time. 

Currently he is busy in his home studio setup making his own style of crazy high energy positive music.
