Sunny Singh and Sonnalli Seygall come together for ‘Jai Mummy Di’, releasing on 12th July



Actors Sunny Singh and Sonnalli Seygall are hailing the power of Mothers this season with their upcoming film ‘Jai Mummy Di’ slated to release in cinemas on 12th July, 2019. 

Sunny and Sonnalli, the mismatched lovers of ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’ have reunited in ‘Jai Mummy Di’ as devoted love-birds with Supriya Pathak and Poonam Dhillon essaying the roles of their respective on-screen warring mothers. 

Directed by debutant Navjot Gulati, ‘Jai Mummy Di’ is a light-hearted family comedy which shows how the conflicting dynamics between these two mothers is leading to a muddled chemistry between their own children and between other members of both families. 

Speaking about the film, Luv Ranjan says, “Jai Mummy Di is a witty and entertaining family comedy. Films like our very own Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and even Badhaai Ho that released last year have proven that there is a big audience for stories which weave in family dynamics interestingly. We are excited to bring Jai Mummy Di to the audience this July.” 

Bhushan Kumar adds, “Today’s audience want to see cinema which is entertaining, interesting and relatable. We have seen this change with the humungous response such films received last year. Jai Mummy Di is for yours, mine and every other family you see around you.”

PULWAMA ATTACK TRIBUTE : Models and designers release balloons, observe silence during fashion show



Just like all Indians , the fashion industry was also deeply effected by the Pulwama terrorist attack. To pay tribute to the martyrs , models , designer Deepali Parekh and Actor Karan Singh Chhabra released balloons during a running fashion show (Pernia s Popop Show) and observed a minute's silence.

On Being asked Karan said , " I was told last minute about this thought that the designer had in mind. Though lighting candles or releasing balloons cannot bring back our soldiers , but this was our way to tell the families of the martyrs that we stand with them in this moment of grief"

Deepali Parekh , the designer said "I was deeply effected by the news and wanted to do something to pay tribute to the soldiers and this was my way of expressing"

Pallavi Bharti will be seen raising voice against stalking in her new show



Pallavi Bharti has been one of those few actors who manage to effortlessly shift audience’s attention from the lead characters to them. From playing a mother in Star Plus show Ikyawann to doing a cameo in ‘Mitegi Lakshmanrekha’, Pallavi has not only built a fanbase but a good reputation in the industry. And now, to treat her audience with another entertaining and impactful performance, she is gearing up for Star Bharat’s new show titled ‘Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan’’.

Pallavi, who is super-excited to act once again, shared details about her character and experience of working on the sets. “I am playing the character of Manjhari, who is basically Rani’s (protagonist) mother. Although the role is once again of somebody too old and mature for my age, I couldn’t say no because of the show’s concept – which talks about the importance of raising voice against stalking.  To be part of a show like this is once in a lifetime opportunity and hence, I didn’t want to miss it,” said Pallavi


Pallavi’s character in ‘Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan’ is a single mother, raising two daughters on her own. “Being a single mother is a challenging job. Like any other mother, Manjhari also wants to give her daughters all the right values. She wants to protect them from the evils of society. So that, one day they can stand with their heads high,” Pallavi mentioned adding, “This show beautifully depict’s a mother's fight with everything that comes her way, her undying love for her daughters and the bond they share."

‘Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan’ will be Pallavi’s second show with Panorama Entertainment. Talking about the same, the actress cum voice over artist said, “This is my second show with the production team and I am extremely lucky to work with such hardworking and fun-loving crew and cast. I am putting my best foot forward with the hope that Manjhari will manage to strike the cord with audience.”

AR Murugadoss to script Avengers: Endgame in Tamil



The award-winning screenwriter will lend his storytelling genius to the Tamil version of the much-anticipated Marvel film

Avengers: Endgame is undoubtedly one of the most awaited movies of the year – with fans across the country eagerly waiting to witness the grand conclusion. In an endeavor to present the film to fans in their local language; Marvel India has associated with one of Kollywood’s most renowed screenwriter AR Murugadoss to pen down the script and dialogues for Avengers: Endgame in Tamil.

Indian fans loved the high-octane Super Hero action drama in 'Avengers: Infinity War'; making it the highest Hollywood grosser in India with much of the box office contribution coming from South. And now, Avengers: Endgame has the entire country holding on to their breath, bracing themselves to witness the aftermath of Thanos’ snap with 50% of the population getting wiped out. The Indian fans down south have been equally excited; given that the Tamil trailer has been trending with a total of 5.5 million+ views and counting! To further enhance the viewing experience for Tamil fans, AR Murugadoss will be stepping in to script and recreate the dialogues for the larger-than-life action drama.
