DocuBay- A New Documentary Streaming Platform Previews at Cannes, France India Part Of Global Consumer Launch Later This Summer



IN10 Media showcased an exclusive first look of DocuBay - its new, global, subscription-based streaming service and VOD platform featuring premium international documentaries at MIPDOC to a select international community of documentary creators and distributors.

Along with this early preview for MIPDOC (April 6-7) and MIPTV (April 8-11) attendees, DocuBay also partnered with MIPDOC to present The Pitch, a blitz kreig documentary pitching session that acknowledges the most promising documentaries in the making for the year. Amongst, if not the most anticipated documentary event in the documentary fraternity, the judges for the pitches included Chris Hoelzl from Smithsonian Channel, Axel Arno from SVT, Bernadette McDaid from National Geographic and Akul Tripathi, COO, DocuBay.

Congratulating Fairouz El-Baz; winner of the pitch for the Science and Technology category, and Zed Films; winner of the pitch for the Current Affairs & Investigation category, Akul Tripathi (COO, DocuBay) stated, “We are thrilled to introduce DocuBay to the global content community attending MIP, and to share our great passion for documentary films with audiences around the world. Humankind, as a race, has always had the uncontrollable desire to tell their tale. To save it for posterity. DocuBay will be available in India with a distinctive global catalogue for Indian audiences, and several titles exclusive to the country. The global consumer premiere is scheduled for the summer of 2019 and will include India in it’s first phase.

Making discovery easy through affinity-based categories like Nature, Action, Travel, Culture, and Science, DocuBay intends to further refine its ‘bays’ by analyzing watch habits and consumer surveys of the early adopters to DocuBay.

Zee Studios International to release Sridevi’s MOM in China



Zee Studios released critically-acclaimed film MOM, a film that gave every viewer goose bumps, on July 2017. On the occasion of Mother's Day, the studio will now release the critically-acclaimed film in China on May 10, 2019. 

“We wanted to pick the perfect date for the release of such a special film like Mom in China, which is a huge market, and has great potential for the film to do well. As a tribute to all mothers, we have chosen May 10 to release this riveting film in China", says Vibha Chopra, Head - Zee Studios International (Film Marketing, Distribution and Acquisition). 

Directed by Ravi Udyawar, MOM is about how a girl’s life changes when she is brutally gang-raped by a group of spoiled rich students from her school and two of their house helps. Her stepmother seeks justice and takes the help of a detective to teach the perpetrators a lesson. 

The film has won two National Awards—one for Best Actress and the other for Best Background Score.

Karan Singh Chhabra enters Star Plus's Kulfi Kumar Bajewala


Star Plus’ popular show Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala is gaining a lot of popularity among the audiences.

The current track of the show revolves around Kullfi participating in a singing reality show.Off late, there have been many new entries in the show, which have peaked the drama quotient.

The latest entry in the show is TV Host and actor Karan Singh Chhabra who also runs a couple of bollywood chat shows and was last seen in the movie Bazaar. He will be playing the role of a reality show host and will be all suited up.
On asking Karan he confirmed, " Yes, I am very excited to be a part of Kulfi Kumar bajewala since this show has been topping the TRP charts week by week and is a very fresh show"


With the current track, the makers will also give a sneak peek into what goes on behind the scenes of a reality show.

Rajkummar Rao happy with his global reach



Rajkummar Rao is honoured to win 'Performer of the Year' award at the Filmfare Middle East Awards 2019 ceremony held in Oman 

Actor Rajkummar Rao is happy that he is able to entertain audiences globally. 

The actor is honoured to win 'Performer of the Year' award at the Filmfare Middle East Awards 2019 ceremony held in Oman. 

"It's a great honour to receive this award. I also feel gratified in a way to know that my films not only entertain audiences in India but globally," Rajkummar said in a statemen

"I've had very distinguished films in 2018 and this win certifies that the audiences are also open to experimentation and watching something new and interesting," he added.

The "Stree" actor is looking forward to this year's anticipated films, including "Mental Hai Kya", "Turram Khan", "Imli" and "Made In China".
