Friday Cine Entertainment Pvt. Ltd‘s romantic comedy “Ishq Forever” starring an ensemble cast of renowned acting talents as well as fresh new faces is all set to release on 15th January 2016.
Produced by Ajay Shah, Himanshu Gandhi & Shabeer Boxwala, Ishq Forever is directed by Sameer Sippy, introducing Krishna and stars Ruhi Singh, Lisa Ray , Zakir Hussain , Chetan Pandit, Sonal Jha, Arif Zakaria , Gurpreet Singh, Kuljeet Kaur , Sachin Parikh, Denzil Smith , Mahesh Balrajand Javed Jafferi, backed by special appearances by Raza Murad and Sharat Saxena. Written by Shabeer Boxwala, Ishq Forever has music by Nadeem Saifi and Lyrics by Sameer.
‘Ishq Forever’ is a breezy rom-com in the traditions of ‘It Happened One Night’& ‘Dil Hai ki Manta Nahi’ etc. It revolves around a duo who meet in un-common circumstances, are bundled together by a nudge of destiny & are forced to undertake a journey that not only challenges their idea of themselves but in the process bringing them face to face with the force of nature called ‘Love’. 
Shot in the stunning back drop of South Africa,the story moves from the Scenic city of Hermanus through the breath taking Garden Route to the thriving buzzing city of Cape Town to culminate in a fresh new landscape where the climax unfolds.
The romantic comedy will showcase stunning visuals, where the two largest oceans of the world meet, never seen on Indian screens before providing the film a colorful & vibrant climax!!

STAR WARS LIGHTSABER CHALLENGE KICKSTARTS IN MUMBAI, TO BE FOLLOWED BY OTHER CITIES ACROSS INDIA!!

There are few, if any, movies in history that can claim to have an iconic status similar to that of Star Wars. With the movie - Star Wars: The Force Awakens all set to hit cinemas this Christmas on 25th December 2015 in India, the makers of the film are leaving no stone unturned to make the film the biggest Hollywood franchise ever!
A most special event - Star Wars Lightsaber Challenge took place in Mumbai with fans to mark the launch of Lightsabers, the most iconic symbols of the Star Wars saga in the country. The Star Wars Lightsaber Challenge gave Star Wars admirers with an experience like never before as they participate and master the Jedi moves themselves. Fans were in for a treat as Darth Vader, one of the most popular villains to ever haunt an audience's dreams and Stormtroopers, the elite soldiers of the Galactic Empire made an appearance before Indian fans for the very first time as a part of the Challenge!

The game includes five stages that recreate the fiercest battle scenes from the original Star Wars trilogy. Loaded with features and unique gameplay elements, players can experience the impact of the explosions and destruction that will leave them with a sense of actually piloting and taking part in action-packed scenes from the films. Disney India is giving all Star Wars fans a chance of a lifetime- a fully paid trip to the Premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, come December! Fans have to simply log on to the Star Wars Lightsaber Challenge app that's hosted on the Star Wars page on Facebook, and upload a video performing cool Jedi moves. The video with maximum likes will win a trip to the Premiere and 25 others will win Lightsabers, the ultimate ally of a Jedi! Eros International partners Bagpiper Soda for Marathi movie ‘Guru’

Eros International & Hansal Mehta’s ‘Aligarh’ selected to open the 17th Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival

Eros International’s ‘Aligarh’, the latest film from National award-winning filmmaker Hansal Mehta, has been selected as the opening film at the 17th Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival on October 30th 2015. This pivotal film marks the first time that a Hindi film will open the festival since 1997, the inaugural year of the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.
 Set in a small town in Uttar Pradesh from which the film takes its name, ‘Aligarh’ is the story of a professor (Manoj Bajpayee) fired for his sexuality and a young journalist (Rajkummar Rao) who tells his story to the world. Based on true events, the film follows Dr. S R Siras, a professor at the Aligarh Muslim University who, when discovered to be homosexual, was fired from his position.  The film depicts the unlikely friendship between Dr. Siras and a reporter investigating his first big story, a relationship that will change them both forever.
 Aligarh has been selected to screen at the 20th Busan International Film Festival in South Korea and the 59th BFI London Film Festival, this October. This will mark the first time in almost two decades that a Hindi film will open the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.

This is a befitting reward for a team that has worked selflessly to make a film they are passionate about. This festival holds a very special place in my heart as it began a journey of awards for Shahid which was until then an unheralded dark horse in a year of sparkling indies. We (Eros International, my team and me) are looking forward to the night and to sharing this special film with the amazing MAMI audience," said  Hansal Mehta, who won the National Award for Best Direction in 2013 with his critically acclaimed Shahid.

 Hansal Mehta’s illustrious career began in television, where he directed the cooking show Khana Khazana (1993–2000) starring Sanjeev Kapoor. Mehta made his feature film debut with  Jayate (1999), which screened at the International Film Festival of India in Hyderabad as part of the Indian Panorama (1999-2000).  He followed up his debut with the cult hit Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar in 2000, and spent the next decade making feature length and short films. He is best known for his moving biopic Shahid in 2013. The film, starring Rajkummar Rao, chronicles the life of Shahid Azmi, a human rights lawyer murdered in 2010. Mehta and Rao continued to collaborate in Mehta’s next film, City Lights, an adaptation of Metro Manila, a British independent film.   
The 17th Jio MAMI’s Mumbai Film Festival will be held in Mumbai from October 29th to November 5th 2015. The film screenings will take place at PVR Versova, PVR Citi Mall, Andheri, PVR LP, Phoenix Mills and Regal – Colaba. ABOUT Jio MAMI
Mumbai - the financial capital of India is also the epicentre of the Indian film industry. In 1997, a group of film industry stalwarts headed by late Hrishikesh Mukherjee founded the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI) as a not-for-profit Trust.
