Global Music video dots World Bindi Day to celebrate womanhood

 

And now it is World Bindi Day that needs to be celebrated this Navratri. Karmanye Kreations is a US based media conglomerate and an initiative by a few NRIs with an objective dedicated to producing content on the culture and history of Indic civilization has come out with a music video about the importance of the Bindi.

The video featuring Dr Sonal Mansingh,  Mata Rajyalaxmi, Malini Awasthi, Aroona Bhatt, Anusha Srinivasan Iyer, Simran Kaur Mundi, Manjari Phadnis, Nyra Bannerjee, Ragini Dwivedi, Anchal Dwivedi, Kainaat Arora, Shibani Kashyap, Nivedita Basu, among others was put recently on the social media during Navratri. The Bindi Song has been sung by Shweta Pandit, Composed by Hriday Gattani with Lyrics by Shivangi Tewari. The video is produced by Karmanye Kreations and Shilpi Shrivastav with Music on Advait Music featuring women from various walks of life.

 “The video will give a global appeal to all the women around the world to wear Bindi with pride as a mark of women empowerment. A letter to officially designate a World Bindi Day has been sent to the United Nations by WorldBindiDay.org. World Bindi Day concept was conceived by few NRIs last year, when it was decided that the pious day for this beautiful concept should be the start of Navratri, which emphasizes women empowerment and their importance in the society. Hence the first day of Navratri was formalized as World Bindi Day. To make it a global initiative and spread the word among millions of women around the globe, the idea to compose a music video was conceived by Karmanye Kreations, US. The song and the video were thus made to share with the world the significance of putting up a Bindi as a mark of each woman's pride and a symbol of women empowerment,” says Anannt Srivastava of Karmanye Creations.

“A new Bindi song will be released next year too. Next year's plan is to reach out to celebrities, social workers, eminent personalities from around the globe to support this initiative and also appear in the video,” adds Annant.\

“I was attracted to the concept of coming up with a song. The song will show how the Bindi described the Indian woman. It perfectly explains the reason and pride behind wearing the bindi,” says Shweta who has sung the number.

 “I think a woman's beauty is enhanced by wearing a Bindi. I sometimes wear a Bindi on casual and western wear too. I have noticed it gives me a distinct persona. Other women should try it to see the difference,” says Anchal Dwivedi.

“I wear bindi as it is part of my Indian culture and tradition and I am  truly proud of it. It also activates the third eye - the pituitary gland - which is in the middle of the eyebrows!” says Shibani Kashyap. "My Bindi is the essence of  existence. Without it I am incomplete. It gives me strength and the power to stand up for right and against wrong. The bindi is the sixth chakra point and my third eye to view the world," elaborates Anusha Srinivasan Iyer.

“The significance of beauty and strength in one bindi … the essence of womanhood culture and pride. I love to wear it each day with each outfit; it only makes the look better and stronger,” opines Ragini Dwivedi.

“My bindi not only enhances my beauty but also reminds me of the divine powers through my third eye. Bindi is the symbol of my Divya Drishti,” says Nyra Banerjee.

Karmanye Kreations is to show the historical aspects of our civilization. Few of the early projects that Karmanye Kreations has undertaken are - Unexplored places of Ayodhya, Kashmir History and History of Indic Civilization and the current effort is an initiative to celebrate various Hindustani Diwas like Bindi Day and Tilak Day and not just international days like Halloween or Valentine's Day.   .

Saregama releases a tribute to Siddharth Shukla with the song- ADHURA

 

There is heartening news for Siddharth Shukla fans. Saregama is all set to release their latest original Hindi single – Adhura, as a tribute to the memory of the actor.

 

The song will feature Shehnaaz Gill and the late Siddharth Shukla and will have footage from the last time the popular pair shot together for the music video of the song earlier this year.

 

This was in fact one of Siddharth’s unfinished or ‘adhura’ projects, before his untimely and heartbreaking demise cut short a promising life.

 

Subsequently flooded with a barrage of fan mail and request to release the song in some form, Saregama took it up on themselves to complete the project and launch the song – Adhura – as a fitting tribute to Siddharth Shukla - his unfinished life story and his last unfinished song.

 

Shreya Ghoshal & Arko who also composed the music for the song, this beautiful melody is bound to tug at your heartstrings and be a cathartic gift for the millions of fans of the late actor and Shehnaaz Gill , something that they will cherish always.

 

Adhura will release on Saregama’s Music YouTube channel and all the major music streaming platforms on the 21st of Oct. 

BREEZER Vivid Shuffle is back with the second phase of School Of Shuffle!

 

After a successful start to BREEZER Vivid Shuffle’s School Of Shuffle with Phase 1, the platform launches the second phase of dance, music video creation, design, and choreography workshops. BREEZER Vivid Shuffle, a property conceived by Only Much Louder Entertainment in 2018, in partnership with the brand, invites hip-hop enthusiasts to Live Life In Colour, with the second phase spanning over three days, from 8th October to 10th October. These workshops, led by some of the community’s best hip-hop talents, have opened for registrations on 27th October. 

 

Phase 2 will kick-start with a hip-hop choreography session on day one led by Tanya Bhushan, who is also popular for her locking and popping and Bollywood moves. Joining her is Shayan Roy, a Mumbai-based rapper and songwriter, and a former video producer at BuzzFeed India, will be leading the Music & Content workshops. On day two, Sachin Bhatt, popularly known as Bhattchin, who is recognized for his mesmerizing artwork created for musicians across the globe will host the design workshop. Music enthusiasts can also tune in on day two for Pinaki Rattan, better known as Phenom, for his music production session. Wrapping up phase 2, Jahnvi Sheriff - a model, dancer and yoga enthusiast will hold a power-packed dancehall session, followed by an award-winning choreographer - Ruel Dausan Varindani’s hip-hop choreography session.

इस सीरीज में एक्टर डीनो मोरेया मोहम्मद शायबानी की भूमिका में छाये हुए हैं. उनके बाद खानजादा बेगम की भूमिका में दृष्टि धामी प्रभावित कर पाती है. बाबर की नानी की भूमिका में शबाना आज़मी भी फबी हैं. बाबर की भूमिका में कुनाल कपूर सबसे कमज़ोर कड़ी हैं. हुमायु बने आदित्य सियाल भी खूब जमे हैं.

नसीरुद्दीन शाह के बेटे इमाद शाह को कासिम की महत्वपुर्ण भूमिका मिली है. पर वह अजीबोगरीब अभिनय करते हुए झल्लाहट पैदा करते हैं. वजीर खान बने राहुल देव ने भी झंडे  गाड़ दिए हैं. मिताक्षरा कुमार का निर्देशन अच्छा है. युद्ध दृश्य साधारण हैं.

Producer Anand Pandit reveals details on Amitabh Bachchan’s shocking action sequences in sub-zero temperatures for Chehre!

Movie lovers are waiting with bated breath for the release of Producer Anand Pandit’s mystery thriller Chehre. The film has been continuing to garner immense love from fans with all the posters, teaser, and hard-hitting dialogue promos that have been released till date.

 

We hear that the makers chose the stunning locales of Europe to give an authentic global touch to the mystery thriller and also execute sleek action sequences for the story.

What’s more, Mr. Bachchan despite several challenges, magnificently rose to the occasion and inspired the entire team with his legendary professionalism!

 

Producer Anand Pandit said, “We wanted to shoot in unexplored scenic locations of Europe to provide due justice and authenticity to the script. The incessant snow had indeed made shooting difficult in some places but thanks to Mr. Bachchan and the entire team’s sheer professionalism everything went smoothly. Even in sub-zero conditions when we thought it wouldn’t be possible to shoot, Bachchan Saab was the first one on set. His commitment was an inspiration for all of us on set. The entire crew pulled together with dedication to ensure the shoot wrapped up in record time, and it was an experience to remember for life!”
